Nice folks with a great little operation. If you are looking for good honest service with the owners directly involved, this is your place.

They are very thorough, communicate effectively throughout the process, work quickly, and clearly take great pride in what they do, as evidenced by the excellent workmanship. I have been wowed each time that the car looks like nothing ever happened, other than in the case of my sons' cars, they were actually spick and span on the interior for a change! Lord help us there are two more drivers coming online in my house in the next couple years. Until they invent cars wrapped in bubble wrap, I sure am thankful I met Adrian!

Please do your research before considering doing business with Adrian Elmore (Owner) of G Town Auto…read moreBody, LLC. Ask specific questions about his repair process and be sure to get everything in writing. I would also encourage you to follow-up all verbal conversations with a text/written summary of your conversations every time, otherwise you will be as sorry as I am for doing business with him. Don't be fooled by his demeanor. In my experience he is incredibly unorganized and once you start questioning him and the insurance check clears his attitude changes. He quoted me 2-3 weeks but it has been nearly 3 months and the "repairs" he made to my passenger door and front quarter panel is literally worse than before the repair. My car is now 3 different colors of white because his color-matching skills and auto-body work isn't as incredible as he claims or believes, and I keep finding missing pieces and other evidence of his shoddy worksmanship. Proceed with caution.

So this place is a complicated one to rate, but I'll give it a shot:…read more I've used them on multiple occasions over the years after moving to Belton and found the man who works on my car "Jason" to be helpful and knowledgeable. Easily the best attribute of this shop is the pricing is always more competitive than the same jobs I've quoted at any of the national shops located in town for repairs such as brakes and alignments. On a few occasions they've even attempted to find the causes of problems in my cars, test drove them, and not charged me anything. Those are the positives. The negatives is that this isn't the most warm and friendly group. Interpersonal skills seem to be a perpetual struggle for all but one auto-repair person I've interacted with in my 22 years of driving, so "caring" isn't a quality I expect when I walk into any mechanic's shop. That being said, I won't make apologies for the group, as certainly at times (both in person and the phone) the men working can come across as busy and borderline perturbed and it would certainly be more pleasant if that weren't the case, but behind the gruff exteriors I still say "thank you" and walk away confident that the money I spent was fair and "Jason" does know what he's doing. For me, those two things are all that really matters, as I'd take that over someone smiling and pretending to care while at the same time inflating prices and/or gouging for repairs not needed - which occurred to me multiple times before I came here. Last note that doesn't affect my rating is that when I asked, this shop doesn't log the work done in any national database so if you want a detailed maintenance record for reselling your vehicle you'll need to stick with a Midas or some national chain (be sure to ask though to make sure they haven't changed anything) - but if you're ok without that, I'd recommend giving them a shot as I'm always content - just don't expect a smile.

If the cat isn't entertainment enough while you wait, don't go here. However, if you want your car fixed at a reasonable cost, Jack's is the place. I've been a regular customer for a number of years and am quite pleased with the service. I am an older woman who drives a car and needs to trust the mechanic. I have never been disappointed here. I have recommended them to friends and they were happy with the service. Now, if a customer is not satisfied, he/she got up on the wrong side of the bed, is impatient, did not provide sufficient information or another issue was discovered during the initial repair. That last one cost me a tad but could have been a major expense if not fixed. Tim and I are of the same generation. He has maintained a fine business reputation. Should the day come for him to retire, I trust he will leave us regulars with equally conscientious ownership.
