Here's an update. Still a relatively small gaming room, but there are some options. If you use your players card you can rack up points pretty quickly. The ashtrays and machines at the bar area are usually covered with cigarette ash. There are quite a few machines that are still out of order since my 1st review, which I found interesting. I tried their burgers and I must say, they are pretty big and tasty at about a $15-17 price point. Most of the machines pay fairly quickly, but at the end of the day it's still a gamble. read more

When one comes into the RV Park (8 sites) you should be a better than average driver in order to park your rig - unless it is a small rig - if you want to save your marriage. The spaces are small, wood fences between each site, and not a whole lot of room. The spaces are not well maintained, when we checked in no one knew what to do about checking an RV in, there aren't any services We had to go into the casino to the "smoke shop" to check in. When we finished checking in we looked around the casino. There were several machines out of order. We didn't stop in the restaurant but from outside the hamburgers they were cooking really smelled good. read more

This place is mainly good if you like to play the electronic gambling games. I didn't see any blackjack tables or any other options. The place is quite smokey inside, because smoking is allowed while playing. The machines at least seemed to almost all be in working order. read more

This was our first time to their casino, a delightful place. A little too smoky for my taste, but still nice. We ate lunch at the cafe. I had the Ortega Chili burger with tater tots, I certainly would order this again. The tater tots were crispy and crunchy as I like them. The burger was so delicious, with a large size burger patty. The Southwestern salad was cold and fresh and had a wonderful dressing. Again, I would be visiting this cafe again. read more

Staff was friendly but majorly under staffed. We sat at the bar for 20 minutes and got an apologetic bartender saying he would get to us when he could but he was the only one working just like the day prior "it's always like this, sorry". We played what machines were working but didn't hit anything. Left to go across the street to get gas and the pumps weren't working . Not sure if it was a bad weekend for them but probably won't make a trip back there. read more

I am not a big fan of the gaming machines or betting in a smokey room but the food was excellent, although pretty pricey. Yet, the good of it was I can recommend the grill to anyone read more

We used to eat there 3-4 times a week. But when the staff became rude and restaurant staff thought mistakes on your dinner were funny, we gave up and stayed away for about a year. A few months ago we decided to give it another try, and wow, things have changed. Restaurant staff is friendly and gets orders correct. BIG SHOUT OUT TO APRIL, because we believe she is the one who is responsible for the restaurant/bar running smoothly again. I spent 200 in 1hour and 10 mins was waiting for a ride after being stranded there they were due to arrive within the next 10 mins.. I had no phone with me. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Absolutely the worse place to be. Ordered drinks and food at the bar, all game play was turned off at the bar. So we waited in the lounge area for the food. 3 people in less then a min came up to us separately and were told we couldn't drink with out eating or gambling. As we told each and everyone we were waiting for food. Some testosterone riddle boy told us we were not going to drink anymore till we got our food. Keep in mind we hadn't even started drinking our one light beer. Looking around there were other groups Of people sitting around drinking and not eating not playing games but again we were approached at three separate times by three rude individuals. We ate our food and chose to leave as we had every intention of gambling and having a good night. Needless to say I don't expect changes to come from here just forewarning anybody who wants to go here expect rude Service unless that's your thing. I love burney ca but the casino very bad experience they have stupid rules with only 6 people in the casino unacceptable

Players club currently offers $5 when you sign up, $5 when you give an email, and $5 if you show your ca state fishing license. They have one or two tables and slots, including penny slots and machine poker. The casino was very small and very smokey. They sell beer and wine and have a free soda/coffee machine though you can't take the cups out (we forgot and took them out, the guard reminded us that we couldn't take the soda cups out.) Staff was fine. We didn't try any of the food though they advertised several specials. read more

Went there last year and manager said we could bring our 4 month chiwhawa in cause of the cold and when a female security told us to leave dog in car and wen we said we were told we could she told us to leave out in parking lot cause we were talking and laughing to loud which me and my brother always do cause were just happy people in general ...she continued to write our plates down and when we went to gas station across street she called and told them not to serve us!! Great place with 100% friendly staff. I've never been so catered too and felt welcome in my life. It's like if you walk in their doors you instantly become family. It's very clean and they have daily specials. This is my home away from home when I'm in town. Thanks for being so awesome......from the security in the parking lot to the ladies serving in their great restaurant to the staff keeping the slot lot machine areas spotless. Worst place ever. We went in and it's very small inside that didn't really matter to much though my fiance and I were really pissed off though when we Sat at the bar for 20 mins while every fucking waiter and bartender ignored us all the while every other patron got served around us. We wouldn't have even cared if they had just said they were busy and would be with us shortly. But no, they refused to even make eye contact with us. So we left and that was that. what can I say. when your happiest moment is the greeting by the security guard outside....well, I think that says it all. It's not the smallness of the place (although 30 minutes would be tops even playing the slot machines...). The food was mediocre diner quality and the place is FULL of smoke. Bartender ignored us as we weren't regulars?!?! Bar is dark and dirty. I so want to support the little tribes but,,,,bad is bad. Serious need of new slot machines and new attitudes. Update the bar and food area (and food). People want a bit more then cheap greasy food these days. Just saying, if they spent a little it would be more attractive. As it is...? Thank You Eugene for No Longer Allowing me to come into the Casino. I have learned by not only by my own experience, but have read on FB, have talked to townspeople at my job & have read the casinos reviews on how unfriendly, uncomfortable, and very Rude the security & management are to their customers. The Management, Eugene in particular were very rude to me & another customer. We both were asked to not return to their casino. Eugene never gave a reson, but his words were, "it's time to part our ways". The reason was a machine malfunctioned and at first wasn't going to do me good with it, but later decided to. Then had said i wasn't to return and "we were parting our ways". Well..... i would like to thank Eugene, because he saves me a TON of money a month, by "parting our ways". I just went out tonight to the Burney Bowl and it was very busy there.... It was all the customers that goes to the Casino.... or "use" to go to The Casino, to have a drink. Their new Sports Bar is awesome and food is excellent - seriously best casino food I have ever had! As of this review they will have a full bar by the start of summer. The service is GREAT and the food was excellent. I am not a big gambler but it's mainly slots. read more

Awesome tasting hamburger and taco salad. A little smokey for me but ok once in awhile to go there for a good meal.

A friend and I asked for a peach mojito and a skittles drink. Bartender came back saying she didn't have the stuff for mojito so I said ok Sex On The Beach. She showed my friend a recipe for the Skittles drink that didn't look right but she would try it. Mine tasted like grapefruit soda on acid and hers like cough syrup. She couldn't finish hers. Please make sure your bartenders know how to make standard drinks before having them go solo on a weekend night. I don't fault the bartender necessarily but leaving her solo and flustered was not ok. I usually have a great time over there. But tonight wasn't it. read more

Yes, the place is small but I think people are forgetting it is a small town in a very big area. I used to eat here quite a bit and always ordered the same thing: the Carnitas Burger and a nice draft beer. It was EXCELLENT (even though a bit pricey), and so large I could take half home for dinner. The accompanying salad was also large and very good. But since they took it off the menu, I don't go at all, really. The Bacon Bacon burger is ok but just not as good. If they brought back my Carnitas Burger, I would happily return. read more

We went on a Saturday afternoon after a visit to the falls just for a snack. Wanting to avoid deep fried foods, we chose the Nachos. The description indicated a full half pound of ground beef... and other good things. When the order came out, it lacked that full half pound of ground beef, was overloaded with black olives, and was lukewarm. Our server was also the waiter and the bar tender, the only one working, it appeared, other than the kitchen staff. He lacked a smile and friendliness. I felt badly for him. When he finally brought the check (which we had to ask for), I explained my problem with the order, and asked him to relay my comment to the kitchen. I did not leave any gratuity. read more

Small town, small casino as expected. Came here with friends and don't gamble so decided to check out the restaurant. Ordered food from the bar. Waitress told us that a party of 10 just ordered and that we'd have to wait which was fine. She said the orders are filled in the order they're received. Waited 35 minutes, two tables that came way after us received their orders about 10 minutes before we received ours. The place had maybe 3 other parties which consisted of the party of ten then two other tables of a single diner and a couple. We ordered an appetizer sampler--when it came, the food was cold. So on my way to reno I decided to stop at the local casino in Burney Ca.I thought it was going to be like every other casino in CA.But to my surprise It was nothing like i expected.As soon as i walk in I was greeted like they new me like we were family.Then with a smile on my face I dropped 20 in the machine and blam $1000 dollar jackpot.Now with a even bigger smile on my face I make my way out the door and the staff approaches me and comps me a dinner.After all this i think I might skip reno and stay here!!!!Check this place out you wont regret it read more

Worst experience ever i went in to enjoy dinner after hearing how great the service and food was. I sat down at a table and the woman that was working told me she would be right with me which was nice.i sat there for 15 minutes while she was talking to another table about what was going on with her personal life and how her mother was ill.i said excuse me to her she looked at me and said hold on so im again waiting i stood up to leave shen then came over with attitude and said im sorry i had to talk to thoes people. What do you want to order i asked her for a menu so i could decide she got upset got me a menu and walked away 5minutes later she came back and asked what I would like i ordered a country fried steak dinner and i sat there for 30 minutes the place wasn't even busy i asked her how much longer for my order! She went into the kitchen and came back out a couple minutes later and said i forgot to send your order back the cooks will have it ready in 5 minutes.
