Loving this farmers market in our city! Even though I've pretty much been to every farmer's market…read morein the Bay Area, this home one is one of my favorites. It's big enough but not huge and the vendors are unique. Plus I like that it's on Saturdays rather than sundays because you know Sunday is reserved for the Lord. Then you take your kid for a romp around the open space adjacent to the farmers market, and you got yourself a full morning!

This farmer's market was only one market aisle long. Yes, that's how short it was to explore all vendors. Service was based on each vendor. I only go there for Harina Baked Goods for their Filipino pastries and Ube Haupia pie (must order), based in Livermore, and Jazzpresso's lattes. There was a long line at Starter Bakery, where you had to decide which pastry and bread to order since they don't have labels. The pastries were too sweet for my Asian taste, though. Since parking is usually full on the side of the stalls, I managed to find one behind the fence, which was a bit of a rocky drive and had a pothole in the middle. It was a bit small to enter and exit. Another option is to park across the train station, where you have to walk for a bit. Remember to bring your own bag when shopping for takeout. I recommend walking to the produce end first, then end at Starter Bakery to compare the prices and decide which is worth purchasing.

The artichoke bread which is made locally is DELICIOUS and is only available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. There were other varieties which I'll probably go back to try. The owner helped us and gave us a brief history of the store and where the items were made. Very nice experience, I'll be back for an Olive oil tasting soon.

ALSO - the last time i went he was lowkirkuinely a lil racist. maybe i'm just imagining things..okay guys you're the jury! help me decide. i went with a friend (we r both asian) and he just like looked at us. okay cool maybe we r both baddies idk. we asked for recommendations and samples and he was like teetering between polite and pissed. AND THEN this white couple came in and he was like hey guys!!! lemme help you out!!! big smiles etc. me and my friend were just standing there while this guy spends a long time making convo with this couple, helping them out, etc. when they leave we have to wait another like 5 min for him to even consider our presence and his tone COMPLETELY changes. back to polite/pissed. i decide to buy the small bottle and he looks at me and says something like "wow that's not even going to last you a minute if you buy that" LIKE HELLO I'M BROKE sorry i can't buy a bigger bottle. then he just processes our purchase and doesn't say anything for the rest of the time. i'm still not sure if that was racist or just a bad attitude but either way i'm sending my white friend to shop for me in the future

Vitality Bowls Stamford has quickly become one of my go-to spots for a healthy, satisfying meal…read more Everything feels fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and made with real care. The açaí bowls are outstanding. perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and packed with fresh ingredients. What really stands out is the attention to detail and the overall experience. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and clearly takes pride in what they do. You can tell this location is well run and focused on consistency, cleanliness, and customer service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a healthier option that doesn't compromise on taste. Stamford needed a spot like this and Vitality Bowls delivers.

PLUS: - lots of parking! - rarely feels stuffy - so mannny locations - lots of options - online ordering; no excess charges / convenience fees - the workers here are soooo nice CON: - omg the drivers here have something up their arse... angry, in a hurry, don't follow rules. Ughh I can't. But obviously, this has nothing to do with this store. - there's WAY TOO MUCH granola (the cup always seem to be more granola than açaí mix...and this is coming from someone who likes granola!) If a kid can sit in here and play on his tablet alone while feeling ultra safe... this should tell you all you need to know.
