Now, each & every time I order from the deli, Dustin smiles, asks if I'd like to try other cheeses, & then packages the cheese I came for. This young man could have just allowed me to walk away frustrated. But he took the time to listen, explain & offer alternate solutions. This commissary tends to have better options than the one on FT Sam. I have found a lot more of the staple items that I like to get, here at Randolph. Also, any of the times that I have shopped here have not been too crowded, which is nice. The store is very well stocked & clean. The layout is not too bad either & better than other commissaries that I have shopped in. Generally speaking, commissary pricing is usually close to what you would pay out on the normal economy, however I have seen some items that have been higher than say, Walmart or HEB. But, the trade off is that you're not paying tax on your groceries here, so it kind of evens out at times. I also appreciate the fact that the times that I have been here, the self-checkout line has not been insanely long. I imagine it probably can be though, depending on what time of day you are shopping. Fortunately, I live about equal distance between here & FT Sam, so I can easily go to either, since they both have different offerings. However, this will definitely be my go to.

I went in and had them installed and paid extra for roadside hazard entire protection. Month and a 1/2 later, the tire blows on the road.Apparently hitting something i didn't see and I see this as a perfect opportunity to utilize that roadside hazard and tire protection. If you are thinking it is not about to be as easy as it sounds, then you are a 100% right and I invite you to buy a lottery ticket. First on the list of things they do not tell you is that if you buy the tires online even if you have roadside and tire protection they cannot replace the tire as they won't sell the brand you are buying. The option you are left with at that point is to go ahead and buy the tire online again and wait a few days for it to arrive where they will then process a refund and you can purchase another tire. Tell me what person in the right mind buys Roadside hazard and tire protection that can wait a few days on a donut for another tire to arrive online? So you end up doing what I did which is buy another tire at full price. Of course they offer roadside and tire protection again and I gave them a look that can only be described as the same look that adam gave eve when he found out she ate the apple. I give 3 stars because I called Walmart Customer Care online and they refunded the cost of the old tire so I would not have to go through the insanity of getting it replaced the way the store was saying to get it replaced. The store was perfectly happy to tell me I had no options which is why I want to post this online so others do not fall prey to the roadside protection and tire warranty. Oh and in the final kick they only put four of the five lugnuts on the car because the fifth lugnut was in the trunk (I told the guy who checked me in). Did they put it on? NOPE. The guy stays on his phone call and tells me "you have a rachet in your trunk right?" So I ended my experience putting the fifth lugnut on myself and driving away as customer AND mechanic...and probably a Discount Tire member now lol

I just got back from Vietnam not too long ago and let me tell you this is hands down the best pho in San Antonio! The owner is so so friendly! He took me to the kitchen showing me how he cook the broth. We had a chat about Vietnam and the food and different style of pho between north and south. It's great to have fresh Asian produce that's reasonably priced - i.e. $1.50-2.50 / lb for leafy greens. $2 for enoki mushrooms. There's also a strong seafood section with live fish. Location is super convenient off of I-35. Parking is easy. I come here once a month or so to restock my Asian groceries.
