This is nothing against the stylist who braided my hair she seemed very sweet but definitely all over the place in life and that could be rolling over into her work. I asked for a simple middle part braid down for my sew in. The style was 75 dollars and it was supposed to come with a wash and blow dry. The instructions said come detangled and I did. Im not sure if she thought because my hair was detangled and it smelled good that it was washed because she literally washed my hair for 4 MAYBE 5 mins. She did ask did I come washed and blow dryed and I told her no I just detangled it. And Im not over exaggerating we got to the bowl at 11:05 got up at 11:09 I know because that was the first time I pulled out my phone since I sat down. I don't know if she was rationing her product because she did not use much and it did not feel clean and I know it was not because while she was blowdrying and combing my hair flakes were all over my shirt because my scalp and hair was not clean. Then when she started to braid my hair she got a call that she needed to go and she literally rushed all the way through. My braids are uneven some big some small , some short some long and the back was just all tucked and bunched together. It was not tucked under each braid and braided into the next one it literally was just crocheted under then bunched in the middle which is why I was able to literally just pull them out because it looked a mess and it was NOT FLAT which is what you need for a sew in foundation. My middle part is not even in the middle ! It starts in the middle then goes left and you can tell because the braids on the right are longer than the left. I didn't see it while I was there and even if I did and wanted to say something she left soon as she was done with me. Overall it just felt rushed thrown together and like a waste of my money. Especially since really a braid down is typically 40-50$ and I got the shortest hair wash ever. I included the inspo pic as well you can tell she kinda could do it but the rushing and the poor technique did not meet the cut and the inspo pic did not big crooked lifted braids in the back that don't go all the way down. It's just a mess and for all that I could've did it myself smh.
