PipeX Plumbing - Plumbing Near Me - Palo Alto, California

I've had great experiences with PipeX in the past, which is why I scheduled an appointment through their website to fix a leak. I received a confirmed appointment time, followed by text reminders on the day of the appointment. Unfortunately, the technician never showed up. I tried calling and texting several times but received no response at all. This was very disappointing, especially given my previous experiences with PipeX, when they were always responsive and prompt. I'm now left wondering whether they are still open for business or what happened with my appointment. I hope they can improve their communication and follow-through. read more

I dont like writing negative reviews for smalls business but I am thoroughly disappointed by lack of professionalism by PipeX plumbing. We had called them to fix a couple of things in the house (shower drain and a toilet flush) and within 24 hrs both of them were broken. We were given a three month warranty and have tried getting back in touch several time through text, and voicemail but no response. It's been two weeks and still waiting to hear back. read more

Set an appointment for service and minor repair of our tankless water heater. They texted 1/2 hour before the window and said they weren't making it, so rescheduled for the next day. Tech showed up 1/2 hour late for their 2 hour window, wandered through the house taking pictures and left, having done nothing. Didn't hear from them for 2 weeks. I reached out and they said they'd had a data problem - were we still interested? I said yes and never heard from them again, even after following up with them again. Just awful. read more

There were several problems in my move in ready new home I found just a few days after moving. And our experience in the new home was not great. We called pipex and they were easy to co-ordinate and did a few different jobs in a quick couple of hours. They added 2x gas valves to unblock my washer / drier installation. But also they fixed the hot water problem in all 3 showers after triaging the problem. They also showed me around my home and crawl space and plumbing plans. read more

I recently called a local company to repair a broken pipe on our 3-compartment sink at our tea house in Palo Alto. * Responsiveness: The staff answered promptly, and the technician arrived the very next day within the promised two-hour window. * Pricing: The cost was higher than average (about 1.5-2 times a typical job), but given their local presence and reliability, we value supporting them. * Work Quality: The repair was completed quickly and professionally. * Follow-up: A few days later, an older part began leaking. When I contacted them again, they responded with the same professionalism. Although they initially explained it was outside the original scope, the manager quickly agreed to fix it. This gesture of goodwill and commitment to service earned my positive feedback to our company management. Their responsiveness and professionalism make me confident in using them again for future jobs. read more

I need to update my review because Nikolai contacted me this week and apologized for not responding to me all this time. He said he had some family emergency and was out of town. In any case, he stopped by promptly and checked the faucets that felt wiggly. Apparently, this small play is normal and will become hardened after use due to calcium deposits. I now wholeheartedly recommend Nikolai and Pipex. Would definitely call him if I need plumbing help in the future. read more

Nikolay was very responsive to text messages which was really helpful during my work day. He was able to come out within a couple of hours to fix a problem with my water heater. I called several larger companies about this job and they all told me I needed a new water heater, despite me being pretty certain it was a simple fix (a sensor had been tripped and just needed to be reset). He had to leave to do some research on my unusual water heater, but was willing to come back later that night to finish it up. He did the job for a fair price and even showed me how to fix them problem again myself if it ever happens again. I will happily have him back for any future plumbing needs at my place. read more

Honesty, integrity, and customer service are the most important qualities in a company, and PipeX Plumbing excels in these areas hands down. On a Friday afternoon, my water heater stopped working. I initially contacted several plumbers via Yelp. PipeX Plumbing responded to my request in less than 10 minutes and provided a reasonable up-front price to replace my old water heater. They squeezed me into their busy schedule and planned to install it the following Monday. Unfortunately, the particular model was out of stock, but Nikolay tried his best to get it by the next day. He managed to fit me into the schedule and completed the installation by Tuesday. Nikolay was very efficient, and everything was spotless when he left.
