Solid Fry's in Yuma, AZ…read more My wife and I live in Mesa, but when we are in Yuma for the Yuma County Fair or the Yuma Fall Festival, we frequent this store location. The employees are always nice and friendly - even when they see us walking in at 10:50 PM after a long day of work just so we can grab some essentials and stock up our Airbnb or hotel room. Helpful if we have questions and quick to ring up our purchases, we really like the efficiency found in this location. It's nice to have a familiar store to go to when we are on the road. Makes us feel like a piece of home is traveling with us. Definitely stop in when you're in Yuma and see for yourself.

Customer ahead of me had a huge amount of items and I waited patiently while everything was rang up and bagging was going on. Customer had paid and stepped away and was placing her bags in the cart while I moved forward to make room for a customer behind me. While waiting, I noticed a bottle of lotion had wedged under the check writing desk and the display screen so I picked it up and placed it with the items that hadn't been bagged yet so it wouldn't be possibly missed. Apparently, that was the absolute wrong thing to do as the cashier got an attitude and yelled " I'm working as fast as I can!" and she kept her attitude the rest of the time I was there. I explained that I just didn't want the item to be forgotten but that fell on deaf ears. Sorry that you apparently hate your job, people and working Sunday but give me a break and everyone else and find a different career.

The big drawback was having to walk down the full length of each isle, or store length, just to find mustard or pickle relish, etc. When they opened you could go 1/2 way down each isle to look for things and then cross over, if desired. This change was meant to pack more stuff on shelves, just not as convienent for the customer though. Good store overall.

He scares me and my sister asking us for the receipt when he clearly watched us pay for our stuff. I don't know why the employees at this store like to stereotype people how the way us customers dress I clearly had the money to pay so there's no reason for me as a customer there to be stealing. I've been going to the store for over a year and I don't know where they come out and accuse me of doing something that I didn't do. I was poorly humiliated in front of other customers making it seem like if I was stealing when I clearly had the money to pay this store has bad customer service.

The new Del Sol Market in the Foothills is owned and operated by IGA, and located on Foothills…read moreBlvd. near the Foothills Bank. It has a variety of basic food items, a small clothing section, school supplies and housewares, Mexican specialty items including a restaurant and a small bakery, and a large selection of fresh meat and poultry. Some prices were higher than Walmart or Fry's. A 5lb bag of potatoes was $2.99 (and $2.94 at Walmart). A half-gallon of Sarah whole milk was $2.29 (and $1.72 for Walmart's Great Value brand). However, turnips were $2.69 each (and $3.04 at Fry's). The boxed and canned items also seemed higher. The family-size box of Cheerios was approx. $1.50 higher than Walmart. Del Sol has a weekly ad which is online and you can also get a paper copy at the door. If you have lived in the Foothills a long time, you might remember that the old Hank's Market used to be in the building across the street from Del Sol. Hank's was also overpriced, but it was very convenient for Foothills residents. In those days, there was only the old Fry's in the Foothills and the Walmart on Pacific Ave. I did not try the restaurant items. They had homemade tamales for $3.19 each. I thought they looked rather small (flat) and I passed them by. Maybe next time. Del Sol is clean, well-stocked, and it is a very pleasant environment. The walking (if you are elderly or disabled) is much easier than hiking through Walmart. I plan to make Del Sol a part of my shopping routine, along with Walmart's curbside pick-up. I bought a half-gallon of milk, 2 large turnips, 2 bananas, 4 avocados, and a 5lb bag of potatoes. The total came to $12.60. They had some beautiful fresh turkey legs -- I'm going to buy one the next time.
