Small repair replacing screens in the entry. Company turned it into a monumental pain. They ignored phone calls and emails. Finally got a response when I sent email directly from their website. Take your money, they definitely aren't the cheapest, and they lie to you about when the work will start. Weeks after they promised a start date they won't even call you back. On top of this when they did my mom's neighbors repair from the tornado they put all of their material in mom's front yard and against the palm trees. Let me say first they are 2 Pioneer companies so I don't trash somwine not deserving. Pioneer or Pioneer I as they are called, is the company I had the issue with. Their phone number is 772-283-9197 and they are located in Stuart. Pioneer II is located in PSL. On 6/2024 I contracted with Pioneer one to extend my lanai and add a cage. All the work was subbed out. Mind you I can't recall how many times they were supposed to come and didn't show but work was eventually completed in January 2025. Four months later in May 2025 I noticed the screen pulled away from the bottom plate on my "picture window" screen.. I called Pioneer and I was told they would send someone out ASAP. Five weeks later and after weekly of calling them, my screen has not been fixed. I paid them $21,000 and they could not do the right thing and send someone back. Also being in Florida, I have not been able to use my lanai because of the flying insects we have here. Yesterday there was a bird in there! Verano is a large community that employees many vendors. Most are hired like in any community based on referrals. Do not use Pioneer one. They are unreliable and don't do the right thing. read more

I am writing to tell you of my experience with Pioneer Screen. It surly was as good as it gets. Craig Rice Jr, came and did my measurements, the quality and design for a courtyard area, and side patio area we're spot on. The screen work, with permitting and such, worked out in a smooth timely manner. Mr. Rice, is a very nice man, he listens to what you want, and makes it happen. The worker he sent was a 30 year employee, that tells you something right there. This company is bad news. They started our screened porch project and stopped half way through. The office staff don't return your phone calls so we showed up at the office in person. They said the project would be completed that day and it want. The staff lie over and over again. The creepiest part of this whole experience is that the workers come to the house and sit in their truck for hours. When we confronted them one day, they threatened us. We will have to get the authorities involved. We are so disappointed in this company - it doesn't even deserve a one star rating. read more

I hired this company to screen my backyard project once complete. It was going to be an inground swim spa, ongoing hot tub, sitting area, grill and other lounge areas with marble pavers. They measured the area before and re- measured when it was time for installation. They took my down payment at the original measuring time. I waited for weeks and weeks but no screen. I called and left messages but my phone calls were never returned. Finally I just left a message telling them that they had 2 weeks to return my deposit or I was calling my lawyer. I got a very nasty call back from Craig telling me that he doesn't know why no one ever called me back and he will talk to accounting and give me my money back because they didn't need it. Next, Tammy emails me and wants me to sign a paper so that they will get the permit fee back from City Hall. Which fortunately I refused to do until I got my check because they actually had the nerve to deduct it from my deposit!!! How sleazy is that!!! You need to stay far away from this company. You can't trust them at all. I fully intend to go after the rest of my money and report their actions to the appropriate agency. read more

Did work on townhomes in.my development. Spoke to many neighbors and no one was happy with their work. Parts stolen due to workers not securing them, and im.being charged for replacements. Pieces put on backwards and they tried to convince me that it was still structutally sound, but both sides did not match! Charged for screens they did not replace. Just very shoddy work overall. Contracted a structural gutter and five screen panels for replacement on October 7th. One worker arrived three weeks ago on a Friday at one o'clock. Sent me the homeowner to Lowe's for screws and a two by four. Called me after I left Lowe's and asked for another two by. Left the house after a few hours and said he'd finish Sat. by noon. Showed up with another guy at two on Sat. Left at five and said they'd finish in an hour on SUNDAY! Showed up at three and worked for a couple hours and said they were done. Job is junk. Missing a downspout and tried to ramp down to one spout for forty feet. I put a hose in the gutter and it filled up! Doesn't even drain to the other end as they neglected to open a hole to the downspout. Also didn't replace one screen . There's many nice gaps for the bugs. Eugene Dearmont of Pioneer came out and feigned shame over this mess and said he'd get right on a replacement. I'm waiting! They said they'd be here last week. I called yesterday. Haven't heard a word. Feb. first and this has been going on since October 7. Pioneer sucks! read more

Poor customer service, honesty is questionable. Did a great job, however there were issues with my final bill. A mistake on their end that they were not willing to compromise on. I asked for pet screening along the bottom of both extensions I added to my pool lanai and the re screen on my existing lanai. Told me its not a problem and never wrote it down. When I mentioned it to Rick Miller his words were its not on the contract and Matt never mentioned it. OK, I let that go since I had already waited 2 and half months for install. When Matt returned with the proposal wanting a deposit I was told that I get a discount on the re screening because I'm doing all the work at once. Also never written on the contract. To top it all off when they finish the install, they tell me there was a mathematical mistake made on the contract to the tune of $1000.00. (This should have been brought to my attention before the install.) So on top of paying the extra $1000.00, I never got the discount promised, instead I was charged for the full price of the re screen. I don't care how long you've been in business; bad business practice and poor customer service will eventually catch up to you. Word of mouth goes a long way. A bit of advice to anyone dealing with Pioneer: get everything in writing and check the math before you sign anything. read more

I like the fact that they give you a very accurate quote stick to the job time frame and follow up with questions about how happy or unhappy you are with the work. We live in the beautiful western community of Indiantown, which is 18.2 miles away from their business to my home. I was told that they do not do business here. Does my money have cooties? We recently had screening structure of our back porch demolished (existing was over 30 years old) and replaced with new structure and screening. Included in their work was to demolish railing on our front porch and install new structure and screening. The work crew (Jason and Tony)was friendly, accurate and very professional at all times. They coordinated with me to ensure I agreed with their work approach before starting each step of the work. I'd like to also recognize the performance of Bev during the permit application and approval process. She followed the entire process through until the Town of Jupiter final inspection was completed. We are extremely happy with our new screened porches. If we ever need more screen work performed our first call will be to Pioneer Screen, LLC. read more

Signed a price estimate/contract on 10/17 for screen repair. Contract states "projected start date 3-4 weeks (was told 2-3 weeks during estimate). Week 8 called for status and given nothing but excuses (you are in Wellington, we are in Stuart; very busy; we lost a crew). Each call to office appears to require a paper search for your job. Owner, Craig, will not call you back. Told estimator, Jerrold, week 8 and I want date certain within next two weeks to complete job. No callback. Call to office: "we returned your deposit this morning." Now faced with finding another company after wasting two months. Not the way I would run a business. And, their word and contracts are worthless. Stay away from these folks. read more
