Ron from Liberty Impact Windows and Doors sold me a Impact front door. I was very pleased with Ron, who put no pressure on me and was competitive in price. The installation went very well and they not only did a good job, but repaired holes left by my original hurricane shutters. I did have to wait a while, but each door is custom made and they measured to the millimeter! The door came within the time I was told it would. I went to Liberty because I want ES Windows. They are the closest company to me that carries them and the ES window manufacturer gave me their name. They made 2 long visits to my house and I still have no hope of new windows and doors even though their initial visit was Feb 21, 2025. Communication problems galore and the company appears to be very chaotic. i want ES hurricane windows and doors but don't know what else I can do. read more

I have never had a worse experience working with a company. I do not even know where to begin. We were told all of our products arrived in August and that the install would be in mid September. In September we waited weeks without getting a firm installation date and we were continuously told it was being scheduled. During this time the sales person we had been dealing with quit and we spoke with three other people about our installation date, including the owner. Our installation was scheduled for the first week of October and we were agreed the entire job would be completed in one week. The second day on the job, the crew (who barely spoke any English) informed us that the front door and our slider frames were damaged during shipping and would not be installed. Nobody had done a quality control check on the product in August when there would have been enough time to order the damaged parts. They could not tell us when they would be able to do that work and we still do not know (today is December 11, 2021). Had we known this in advance, we likely would have waited and done all the work in one week. While they were working, the team removed and replaced other doors. As they were leaving on the fourth day, saying that they were done, I noticed that several doors did not have handles and other doors had mismatching handles. We spoke with our project manager and were told that they do not have any of our door handles. We were told they used them on another project. It took 4 weeks just to get someone to come and install handles which took only 1 hour. As of today (more than 2 months later) we have no idea when the job will be completed - when we will get our slider or front door. Nobody is taking responsibility for this, they blame it on other people. I interviewed 5 companies over a year to choose the best for this job. Liberty was leagues above and beyond with their sales process and visualization. My husband and I truly thought we were getting phenomenal service until a month ago and could not have ever expected this. The business' reviews were stellar until the past 2 months. The owner Jeff is disrespectful, communicates in an unprofessional manner mainly via text, and admitted that he got his doors delivered and installed as a higher priority than I did as his customer. He has never once said thank you or expressed any appreciation for the business I've given him. Everything written here has been documented via email thoroughly. Stay away from this company. In December 2021 we purchased new front doors. We were told they would take 10-12 weeks to come in due to the supply chain problems. We understood this. It took about 15 weeks to get the door, which was fine. Unfortunately, it is now over 6 weeks, and the installation of the door is still incomplete. I do not live here full time and have a person who helps me with these types of things. She has come out 2 times to let them in to finish the job and each time, they did nothing. I called many times to speak to my salesperson Rick, who is a nice guy, but doesn't call back when he says he will, Doug was the foreman on the job, and not once did he reach out to me with an explanation, or return a phone call. I literally had to fly from California to try to get some answers as to how and when the door will be complete. I waited a week to hopefully get help, and nothing. On Monday morning I walked into the shop and spoke to the owner Jeff. Its now Thursday, I have been here 12 days and today is the first day they showed up with a worker. The worst part is, they require 90% of the payment before they do the install. You are at their mercy with getting them to come and finish a job. In addition, not only did I have to pay my property manager to come out to wait for them, only to do nothing, the fancy keypad lock we purchased came with no instructions, and the key's that were left do not work the door. I just paid a locksmith to re-key the lock so I can actually use the door. I still have to go on the Schlage website to try to find instructions on how to program the keypad since I have left messages with the secretary and she doesn't respond either. Honesty and availability from the representative Justin Martin to the owner Matt and probably the most important the install crew were flawless. They do what they say they will do and more. We received 4 proposals and Liberty was not only the best price but the highest quality product, these windows are very well built and I was happily stunned when the county inspector even gave me a "well done" on the impact ratings and quality of the windows and the install. Quality, response, punctual and value are amazing qualities in a company. Liberty Impact is so much more then that, way more. After going down a list of door companies and calling to ask for help it wasn't until I reached out to Liberty that I found a truly community oriented set of men. I explained I'm trying to help a family in need, 10 kids and their dad have a very bad front door, It was not providing much protection. Without hesitation and immediate action Liberty went above and beyond. Liberty was so concerned for the children's safety they gave us a beautiful solid front door that very day.
