The nice man running the place said he could check the light for me, but didn't have time that day to fix anything. He ran the code and determined that it was a small vacuum leak caused by a failing intake manifold gasket. He recommended that it would be fine for the rest of my drive to central Texas, cleared the warning light and then didn't charge me a thing. I'm super impressed with this hometown generosity and care that is so rare these days. He also did this on a day when he was extremely busy. He had never heard of Yelp before, but hopefully this review will pay him back by sending some business his way. Tom

The Lady was Professional & detailed oriented. The whole process in & out was 45 minutes. I liked that. They had a special $29.99 ,6 quarts of oil & an oil filter .My Son & Mother told us about this as they took their's in & received it. When I called & spoke with the lady about that Special she confirmed we would get it. However when went to pay for it, I received a bill $49.99 . Work was good but changing the price on me wasn't. David's Garage should stick to what they say . That was the part that was Un-Professional. It would had been a 5 star If David's Garage would had charged the Special My Mother ,Son & the lady working for David's Garage told me it was $29.95.

I apologized multiple times, told him I wasn't trying to be rude or demanding, but I paid almost $300 dollars for tires and rims that didn't fit and all I wanted to do was bring the tires and rims back and get my money back. He said absolutely that's not going happen and all he's willing to do is the $100 and store credit even though I don't need the rims or tires anymore. The whole conversation with him was just angry and aggressive and all I did was apologize. I will never ever come back to this tire shop. I've been coming here for 7 years and the way the owner spoke to me and belittled me was unbelievable. I won't judge and say he's only out for money, but that is absolutely the impression I got from him today. I could understand, if I was being hateful and rude, but I was doing nothing but apologizing for the inconvenience and truly sincere. Find a different tire shop to go to. This owner will take your money and if it's wrong will tell you, your out of luck. The only thing this business has going for them is the the kind gentleman who helped me originally. Perhaps there should be a change in management.
