A nice treat after dinner. Stopped in to make my sweet tooth happy. The store is clean and welcoming, but the real star is the ice cream. Lots of flavors to choose from all made in house. I chose the mudslide: cookies and cream ice cream with baileys, kahlua, vodka, with hot fudge, chocolate and topped with whipped cream. It was phenomenal. If you are in the area or not, it's well worth the detour. Make your way here and try the ice cream. You can thank me later. read more

Stopped by Pints Ice Cream after having dinner in Fuquay-Varina. When you arrive parking can be found on the street outside the ice cream shop or further down on broad street. Walking in the ice cream shop feels family friendly, like a step back in time with a classic mom & pop shop feel, and all of that mixed with beers on tap. To order you'll walk up to the counter, place your order, and then grab an open seat in the shop. For ice cream I ordered the guava mixed berry sorbet & red velvet cheesecake. My partner ordered the red velvet cheesecake & cookie butter oreo. The medium cup was huge and I felt like we had at least 4 scoops of ice cream each. All of the flavors were excellent and we'll definitely be back. We arrived right before closing and noticed pints serves beer floats (with your choice of beer and ice cream), as well as flights with beer and ice cream. Definitely will try these other options next time we visit. read more

Nice place-parking in front. It was quiet inside with ample seating. Always Free Sprinkles! Chocolate or rainbow. Server was very nice- They don't have non dairy ice cream- only sorbet- I got the Mango sorbet in a waffle cone (made on site) with rainbow sprinkles. It had good flavor. read more

The ice cream is what you dream about! The creativity (flavors/combos) is unmatched. Booze milkshakes, beer floats, ice cream cocktails! Have no fear, they are a good ole "Mom and Pop" ice cream shop, but with a twist. There's literally something for everyone and the sprinkles are ALWAYS free. read more

Flavorful ice cream with free sprinkles in downtown Fuquay! I've been twice and enjoyed the flavor selections both times. Our favorites are the Watergate salad and apple pie. The sorbets are usually pretty good too. The flavors offered are often unique and served in a variety of fun ways. For instance, on colorful waffle cones or in milkshakes, floats, affogato, or with alcohol. The employees give suggestions and offer free samples. We enjoyed our visits here and recommend this ice cream shop to others! read more

Best ice cream in town! Always a warm and welcoming environment. The red velvet cheesecake is great!

HOW CUTE!!! New to the area (Lillington actually) and stopped by on a whim. The area is really cute and this place has a TON of ice cream and even booze ice cream. Lots to choose from. It's a cute little shop in a cute little area. We plan to come back during the holidays. I will be trying one of the booze infused milkshakes. I had the count chocoula. It was spot on! read more

Pints Ice Cream - Flight with beer and Prosecco. - Beer Bar Near Me - Fuquay Varina, North Carolina

Every now and again an idea is born that borders upon absolute brilliance...Pints is just such an idea. Its fresh, organic, locally made ice cream but with an amazing twist. For the kids, flavors like chocolate, birthday cake, and brown sugar vanilla in cone or bowl and covered in sprinkles. For the adults? How about milkshakes made with liquor?? Let me tell you, this is brilliant....Drinks like Irish Car Bomb or White Russian translate to ice cream seamlessly. Its sweet, delicious...and the buzz will sneak up on you so be careful. Not big on ice cream? How about the sorbet mimosa? Just want alcohol?...There are IPAs on tap. Literally, there is something for everyone. Seating is ample and the area is great for kids. I wish they had plain soda in can or bottle so I hope they add that. Otherwise, it's a brilliant experience! read more

Booze and ice cream! Pints is serving up both in a super cute spot in downtown Varina. The ice cream selection is smaller but the flavor choices are tasty and interesting. We sampled a few and I decided to go basic with a scoop of cake batter. Looking to add booze? You have your choice of a booze infused milkshake, beer or mimosa float, beer and ice cream flight or beer float flight. Fiance ordered an Irish Car Bomb and I ordered a pint of beer. The Baileys Irish Cream ice cream that was used in this milkshake was flavorful, we both highly recommend this selection. Pints is a must visit if you are in the area. read more

Food: 5 Service: 5 Ambience: 5 Day/Time: 1/26/2019 4:30pm Crowd: 1 table occupied and several came in later Order: Elvis Choc, PB, banana Love when a business, especially a food one, comes up with a unique idea that stands out from the rest. For this business, it is combining 2 very popular food items.... ice cream and beer. Not just serving them individually, but actually MIXING them together like Coke and ice cream as a float! Whodathunk?! I'm not a big beer drinker so I didn't try a float, but I *am* a big fan of ice cream (anything with chocolate in it!) and tried the Elvis peanut butter and banana which was very tasty with chunks of PB in it. The folks in the place were so nice and very accommodating, and the serving area was set up nicely with the beer taps on the wall toward the middle and the ice cream on the extreme (as you face the counter) near the door end of the place. The ice cream choices were not huge like a Ben & Jerry's but they had some of the more popular ones, and it's locally made with mostly local ingredients (and pasture raised cows, etc etc). And, best of all, the ice cream is cheap compared to B&J's @ $2/scoop (as of 1/26/2019)! I'm guessing the beer offsets it so if you're just an ice cream fan, thank the beer fans for your savings :-) Thank you! If you live in the area or are passing through, pull into a parking slot and just walk around the nice little block of merchants (many of them being beer makers!) and stop in here! You'll be glad you did! read more

Fun place for Adult Milkshakes and Floats - not the best ice cream on their own. We love it as a treat (and the milkshakes are totally worth the price!) but not something in our regular rotation. We weren't a fan of the ice cream pies and found the at home pints to not be as good as in shop. Pro tip: there's great outdoor seating especially in the summer! Also, trust the staff to do the beer and ice cream pairings.... I totally didn't think it would be good but the team KNOWS THEIR STUFF And made some stellar recommendations! read more

I love their lemon cardamom ice cream here. It's so amazing. Shout out to the quay for having so many amazing ice cream spots in the area! read more

Good service and polite staff. Nice atmosphere and pretty good selection of flavors. Didn't see any soda for sale or coffee.

Delicious ice cream. Love that the ingredients are sourced locally. Cool atmosphere & creative boozy milkshakes!

Third time's the charm. The ice cream really was better this time around! It wasn't melty. It was the right consistency throughout. The lemon cookie flavor and the deep chocolate flavor were both pronounced and had bits of food in them. HUGE improvements! The Irish cream ice cream was labeled 21+ but didn't taste very alcoholic (it was a little icy so must have had SOME in there). The cone was again lovely. The price is rather high overall but you are getting some homemade gourmet stuff in an ever-pricier downtown area. I still wish they'd have darker beers to float ice cream in, but they did admit to having cans of Guinness around for a certain menu item, so I'm thinking I could try to convince them next time to float ice cream in that. Maybe... still prefer on draft... so we will just have to see. But with EVERYONE else rating them 5 stars and my #1 item being addressed, I think it's about time to give Pints the green flag! read more

My husband and I regularly get enough ice cream to feed a family of twelve every time we visit. Even during the shut down, we placed massive orders for pickup. I cried with joy when they started doing pickups. We love the owners and the team, and have literally never ordered a single thing that we thought was bad or even 'meh'. The ice cream cone selection is incredible, and we regularly play cone roulette and let whoever is taking our order pick cones to go with our ice cream. Not once has that proved silly. I don't think I could ever overstate just how phenomenal their (regularly rotating) menu is. Do yourself a favor and try the rosemary/olive oil/sea salt with a blue corn cone. Get any of the cookie or cookie butter offerings. Lemon cookie cardamom is so good I would push an old lady into traffic if it meant getting the last scoop for myself. I mean, I'd feel bad about it... but...ice cream. Follow their Instagram for regular updates (they update their Facebook too but the algorithm sometimes buries them from my feed, whereas on Instagram it's right there for my viewing pleasure). Get their ice cream. Do it. Do it now. read more

Love the ice cream here. Ordered the coconut dreams which is a boozy milkshake with girl scout cookies, soooo good. Husband ordered coconut bar and carmel delight ice cream with a matcha cone. They had a few different come flavors, I want to go back and try the red velvet. So good. Parking was a bit of a pain but downtown was busy when we went. read more

I have nothing negative to say about PINTS! I haven't tried any of their beer as I am pregnant, but the ice cream is AMAZING!! It's a perfect little date spot, or even a great place to bring the kids! The outside seating is a nice touch since the inside could get a little crowded at times. Decor is simple and inviting. Bathrooms are clean. The owners seem very friendly each time I've gone in. Now as for the ice cream...the brown sugar vanilla is to die for. At least in my opinion. Portions are generous but they are a little expensive. However I don't mind paying a little more for local and homemade :) I've heard from friends that the beer floats are great, but again haven't tried them yet. Each time I've gone in, they have a new flavor of ice cream and seem to be adding to their beer list; which i think is awesome! There is definitely a flavor for everyone. I am so glad that there is another ice cream joint in the FV area!! read more

The wife and I got to check out Pints yesterday. It had been on our list for a while and we decided to take a break from house work to see what it was all about. We were not disappointed! I really think Pints adds something unique to the Fuquay beer scene. I love the idea of beer floats and boozy milkshakes. Of course, you can order beer by itself as well. They have a good selection of dark beers to pair with the ice cream, which I love. We both ordered different beer floats this time. I got the Thrilla in Manilla from Double Barley with the cookies & cream ice cream. It was so good!! The ice cream was definitely the best part. The wife ordered the Pumpkin Cream Ale from Saxapahaw Brewing with like a salted vanilla ice cream I think. It was also really good. The inside was very cool, and the folks working there were really nice. We will be back to try the boozy milkshakes for sure! read more

My family and I stopped in yesterday (6/5) in the late afternoon, it was our first visit to Pints, and based off the reviews we were excited to try a new ice cream place. Pros-ice cream was delicious, pricing was competitive, no wait. Con- NONE of the staff were wearing masks OR gloves (despite handling our icecream cones-and having it currently mentioned on their account as doing so) and no, there was no hand washing immediately before taking our order either. We won't be back solely for this. While this last note probably isn't their fault-more as a heads up to anyone wanting to sit outside and eat. There seemed to be some type of septic issue that was over powering near the outdoor seating area. It was repulsive. read more

When I first walked by I thought neat idea but kinda strange ice cream and beer together... well we came in after dinner and got an ice cream for my son. Then we decided to try an ice cream beer flight. They give you 3 beers and 3 ice creams separately. You get to pick your combinations. First of all the ice cream is incredible. Creamy and amazing flavors. The coco puffs ice cream was just insanely good. Then they said take a bite of ice cream and a sip of beer. Let it melt in your mouth. Every bite/sip was so incredible. Great list of amazing beers as well. Must try for beer lovers and ice cream lovers. And if you love both, then you MUST try. read more

If you haven't been into pints yet, then you're missing out. I have seriously never seen anything like this place. First off, the entire staff is amazing. Everyone is genuinely nice and wants you to have something awesome. Their ice cream is killer. Try the waddle berry (they'll explain it). They are always making something new too so ask them. Now, beer floats. I was a skeptic about beer and ice cream, but you have to at least try their recommendations at least once. I love them. Go now and bring a friend. read more

Wow! That's mainly what I want to say after just being there for the first time... ice cream & beers just don't sound very appetizing, much less appealing BUT... these folks have made the unthinkable delectable!
