The best restaurant in Edna, hands down! Okay, so it's the only restaurant in Edna that has a decent menu and table service but it is still really really good and I would say even better than any of the options I've tried in Victoria! I bring my mom here every few weeks and she really likes their shrimp quesadillas. I tried the Carnitas Platter on our last trip and they were the best carnitas I've had anywhere. Extremely moist and tender with a nice crispy skin. Also I love that they bring out complimentary queso with the chips and salsa. The staff are always very friendly and prompt. I really like coming here. Given that they have very little competition, they could easily lower their quality and service but they don't. You can tell that this restaurant really cares about providing good food and quality service for the local community.

Always a delight to come here..Enchiladas Rojas was absolutely perfect. Staff was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this spot to come to for excellent Mexican food!

This is an order of fries at Pinto Beans Edna TX.

Poor customer service all employees are rude they hang up on customers when they call. Food isn't that great and very expensive and not much to it. Paid 42.07 for practically nothing. Pinto Beans are a joke I wouldn't recommend anyone spend hard earned money there.

Wonderful service and food! We took our cast/crew there after a high school competition. They took care of us and got us back on the road.

Service is slow and the food is too expensive. However, if you like TexMex, you probably will like it here.

The avocado cilantro jalapeno fought for first place with the awesome house salsa. They both had great depth of flavor and plenty of spice. Trust me, no bell peppers in sight. I'm a white girl, but a Texan.. sriracha, Tapatio (or Cholula jalapeno & poblano!), homemade quick and dirty salsa with El Pato, cilantro, RoTel and lime are my fave spice levels. My marg was passable, and tasty. No complaints. But y'all? Yk how some relleños are puffy, some are crispy, and some are eggy? I'm usually in between puffy and crispy - I add extra flour to my egg whites for more crunch - but I may be an eggy convert. My relleño with ground beef was a surprise.. it was covered in a thin queso sauce, and like a beef stuffed poblano in an omelette.. which was DELICIOUS. Seriously. This is why TexMex can be awesome. Topped with that house salsa and scooped into homemade flour tortillas.. wow. Seriously. So wow! I took leftovers home and had legit the best relleño/beans/rice burrito you could imagine. Trust me here, haters gonna hate.. shake it off and ENJOY PMR. It is awesome.

The place is quite large when you walk in, it looks like a smaller house from the outside. When we walked in, someone came from behind the counter to greet us and told us to choose where ever we liked, since it was mid-day there was plenty to choose from. When we sat, we were asked our drink order and I ordered a bowl of queso! Which is a white queso!! We were hungry, so as soon as it hit the table, the I dip, you dip, we dip, began!! The salsa is one of the best I'd had in a while. You could tell it was fresh, and had just a little kick in and and the chips were nice and warm, just like I like em! I opted for the tacos with 2 bistec y 2 al pastor! I asked if they did grilled piña for the pastor, and they didn't, I was sad, but not sad when the plate arrived!!! The tacos were plenty filled with lots of meat, and the side fixin's of onions y cilantro. I asked for refried over the regular, because in looking at the photos, I knew the beans were going to be amazing. I started eating immediately! The food was sooo good...the bistec was flavored just right, and so was the al pastor. I'm not sure which I liked more. And that combo with the beans. The only thing I wish I had done differently is add cheese, bc my friend or ordered the taco plate had gotten it on his, and it looked devine! Great stop and if ever in this part of Texas again, will be coming back by!

The place was empty upon walking in, except one table that had a party of 3 was occupied, they left soon after. It looks like it would be a place for family party that you could rent out easily. Service- was good, I didnt catch the young ladys name. She took a while considering it was only 1 table of us, but it was ok. She answered our questions and explained items. But wasn't what I would call warm or engaging. Food- we had chips/salsa to start. Salsa tasted from scratch. And we also orderd the blanco queso to share. I love queso so no issues there. My entree I had the shrimp enchiladas. Since I wanted red sauce and not green sauce, she suggested to get the chiptole sauce enchiladas instead. She said it wasn't spciy, but I found it was more of a kick than I expected. But when eating it along with the beans/rice it was fine and cooled out. Overall, easy mom and pop family restaurant.
