We were visiting from out of state and had a couple hours to kill before our flight. This was my first time at a golf related business. Our family of 16 (ages 7 to retired) was able to reserve 3 lanes together just a few hours ahead. We were all impressed with the food! Definitely a step up from what we were expecting. We filled up 4 adults and a child for less than $60! They also have an outdoor putt putt golf and outdoor seating on the second level. We went on league night with my dad so we could have some dinner and play some duck pin bowling. Looking at other reviews it seems that they have some problems in the kitchen. They had no pizza at all because of something wrong with their fridges. We were all able to find something else to eat but that was a bummer. A short walk to customer service and likely you can get a refund. 2) drivers: these aren't part of the place as it's too close to the highway. When we first arrived we waited 5 minutes before the front desk talked with us. Once we got to our lanes we had to go back to the front desk for the monitors to be unlocked. We then waited another 10 minutes before we could order drinks and food, waited another 20 before we got our drinks, and 30 minutes for our food. One of our pizzas didnt even get put in so we didnt get it until an hour and half in 30 minutes before we left. Overall the games were pretty borning and the clubs were worn out with sticky grips that would stain your hands. I went two times. First time we were informed that there was no food available after we had already started. Apparently there was an over hour wait for food so they stopped ordering. Wish I would have known that so I would've eaten beforehand. Second time we ordered food, that didn't come with the beer mustard or grilled onions as it was written in the menu. We told our server and waited a half hour for normal mustard and raw onions. I again informed her and was told she didn't think it was correct, but it was given by the cook. This bald guy at the counter was more than unhappy to cater to us. His name was Kenny. I heard his say under his breath "welcome to work". Thank you so much for ruining our afternoon. Management, if you are smart you will move him to back of house. We spilled a drink by accident and he made it a WAY bigger deal than needed. I was so close to canceling our reservation due to this. If you see this guy working the counter talk to the other person who is also manning the counter. Trust me when I say this guy has no respect for anyone. Overall it was a fun experience. In my opinion they need more golf clubs for people to use. Not everyone has clubs to bring so it would be nice to have more available. Also the food/drinks are kind of pricey. You're already paying for the bay per hour. Those are my only two complaints. I had a great time and the golf part was super fun. read more

I try to keep in perspective a new business and the kinks that have to be worked out, but, the system froze and didn't count most of our shots. They said it was because of the light snow but I just don't buy that. They had no drivers to use. We had to ask for a server because their online order system didn't work. Our server was very nice but needs more training. The host told us the hot chocolate was great, then when we ordered some they were out since the day before. We had a great time here with our family and friends. Our only issue was with the Loaded Nachos we ordered. Description said it had shredded chicken, white cheddar mozzarella, roasted corn salsa, etc. There was minimal shredded chicken, definitely no white cheddar mozzarella and probably a few kernels of corn, We had the server take it back to the kitchen and when it came back out (we assume it was a manger bringing it back out) it had been covered by queso cheese - NOT mozzarella. Positives 1) Will start by saying the place is super cool looking, and the staff all look like they are dressed for the occasion. 2) The staff member who took us to our golf bay , was super friendly, and explained everything about the rules , and how to use the touch screen. 3) Restrooms were super clean. We specifically skipped eating dinner , because we knew we were going to order food when we got to our golf Bay, so to hear this news , about their kitchen staff not being able to keep up with orders , so they stopped all orders to catch up was insane , but they did say when they got caught back up, they would re-open.... Yeah so let's continue that garbage statement... We had told the waitress all we need is french fries ...super easy just to get food in our stomachs, and by the time the french fries were ready and at at our table, we literally only had 15 minutes left of our two hour golf session that we paid for. Two of the people in our group were diabetic , and were counting on eating because of their blood sugars due to the fact that we didn't eat anything earlier, knowing we would eat when we came to Pinseekers. To top it off, they wouldn't even let us order food from somewhere else and have it delivered to Pinseekers, even though their kitchen was closed. The only reason this place gets two stars is because of the friendly staff and the actual experience . To top things off 90% of the balls that we drove out into the field, never registered on the computer even though they all hit target rings , and to top it off some of the ring lights weren't even on or working, right. They did offer to give us a half off discount for the last hour we were there because of the food issue, so that was good, but they should've done that for everybody there that came at 8:30 and after, that wanted food. Would I go back ?...yeah , absolutely , but I would make sure that even though their policy says you can't bring in food or drink, I certainly would have it ready in my bag just in case. Note::: If your kitchen is closed , because you can't keep up with your customers orders, then you should allow customers to order food , or bring food into your restaurant from another source. **People that are diabetic , often carry their own snacks, and if you're telling people that they can't bring in food , but for health reasons, they have to have it, then that is what we call a huge potential lawsuit ! as that is a health and safety risk that you are creating , because your kitchen can't keep up with your customers orders. read more

We did not enjoy our time at PinSeekers. First of all, the time you reserve for your reservation is not accurate. We began golfing at 7:02 and it kicked us out at 7:58, even though the reservation you make online is scheduled as 1.25 hours. Also, we ordered 2 draft beers the minute we sat down and they NEVER CAME. We got our entrees first, then appetizer (??) and no drinks at any point. The food was also not very good - all items were lukewarm upon arrival. The staff themselves had nothing to do with this. They were as attentive as they could be. We learned that 3 bartenders had quit within the week, so it is certainly a management issue. I can't imagine anything will change in the near future. Will not come again. read more

I definitely would give it a negative star if I could. I went with my niece and nephew, and there friends. They assigned us to a broken machine. Once we said hey this is broken, they said we'll fix it. Well, they didn't fix it, but offered a bucket of balls. There was 6 open bays that we could have been transferred to, but I guess since ig was a group of young (minus me) Black Americans, they could not offer to move us to an operating bay. People of Southeast Iowa, be grateful that you have a solid place of entertainment to enjoy. This company is owned by the same people who created TopGolf and is a very comparable experience. Sure the food is a little on the expensive side for this part of the country, but it's reasonable when also considering the hourly rate for bay rental. Definitely better for groups of 4 or more when considering cost, but enjoyable for as few as one. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Good place! read more

The concept of this place is very exciting....the execution is another story. We arrived about 1.5 hours before our scheduled reservation so we could get drinks and some food. We all but begged for someone to take our food order, and then it didn't come out until nearly two hours later. The food was mediocre at best. We did the multi-sport simulator, which was fun, but the employee who took us up there said "here's bay 1, sorry, I don't know how it works," and left us to figure it out. There wasn't any background music and nobody came to get additional food or drink orders while we were up there. This was honestly a joke! Never been to a place where everyone ignored you. We finally had to go ask (with the 20 or so servers walking around) for a menu at the bar, which we waited for 5 mins before she gave us menus! Then when we were ready to order it took 10 minutes for her to come back over to help us and 3 other people as she literally had 1 speed and that was molasses. When I cashed out and checked my statement online (I left her ZERO tip) I'm being charged an extra $20 for something I didn't get or receive (meal was $29 for pizza and fries). Really poor survive and experience, I understand this is a new business and their will be trial and errors but the way management approached us was clearly unprofessional and wrongly accused of our group of being intoxicated when this was not the case. We were there for 30 minutes and was kicked out without refund for "intoxication" but we ordered one drink and caused no scene, the front desk kept changing the story and gave us no refund. We respect the person in charge and I addressed to him personally but he kept saying it was obvious I was intoxicated when I had one drink. No refund no anything. The last time I was here was poor service as well our food took forever and the manager on duty seemed to have no clue what was going on. I had good hopes for this place and hoped they would do well but unfortunately things need to be monitored and addressed.
