Next thing you know the Marshall pulls up in his side-by-side and lets us know that it's cart path only. No signs, no alerts from the cart and yet we still decided to be respectful. We then said "sorry about that sir we'll make sure to speed up and get on the cart path". He then runs my golf ball over, that thing went so far in the dirt I could barely see it. So I said what was that for, in an aggressive tone, and then he says "then get the F*** off my course if you have a problem". Overall, not a good experience. Great course but that Marshall really just ruined everything for us.

I called in to add my wife to the round my friend scheduled and was not told of a cancellation fee…read moreby the employee assisting me. My wife ended up not playing due to rain and our infant son. As he was going to ride with us. Unfortunately got charged an extra round due to their cancellation policy. Discussed with the golf club employee and he said no refunds/weather cancellations and to talk to the course manager. Tried to talk to the course manager regarding refunding the extra charge and was never contacted back after 4 days. Left a note with an employee the day of, called both courses he works at, and emailed him, with no response to any of the above. Apparently do not expect to get any communication from the manager and ensure you don't have a cancellation or you'll have to eat an extra $80. Even during downpour rain for half of your front nine! Beautiful course but we won't be going back. Very unfortunate experience.

The only…read morereason I'm not giving this course a 5/5 star review is because the staff was not prepared for the morning tee times. When we arrived around 8 AM for our 9:10 AM tee time, there was no one in the golf shop, so we walked to the golf facilities near the driving range where there also no staff to be found. We wanted to get loose for the round, so we had to gather range balls ourselves to hit. Eventually, staff arrived around 30ish minutes before we were set to tee off to provide us with a cart and check us in. Once we set off on our round, the course was honestly a little underwhelming. Don't get me wrong - this course is very nice and well-manicured, but the green fees here are by far the most expensive in the area. Given the usual $100 green fee, I was expecting a much more professional and unique experience. If I had to choose whether to play here or Finkbine in Iowa City, I'd definitely choose the latter. Overall, I had a great morning playing a new course, but I was left wanting a little more out of my overall experience at the course. Hopefully, the next time I visit I can confidently give this course a full 5-star review!

Triple Play Park is probably one of the best youth ball field complexes in the Iowa City/ Cedar…read moreRapids area. Period. End of story. I played here as a kid and they really have made some great changes to the original four fields since! (I believe these were made around 2020- when the CR Reds baseball/softball organization took over this site.) The infields were completely redone and the back-stops were replaced with a 30' tall netting. There are new dugouts and the concession area was updated. Finally (while I think they should have added stalls) the restrooms are updated and clean. There's a playground area for the kids as well as batting cages. But the most impressive thing about Triple Play Park is the addition of Dinger Plaza. My 10U team played here this past weekend and what a nice field. It rained cats and dogs the night before, but you'd have never known that. These two new fields are geared toward younger teams and I think they're a great size-- home runs are possible for a ten year old which is crazy. (My only qualm is how close the backstop is to home.) There's plenty of parking. It's continently across the street from Casey's and down the street from Edith Lucielle's Bait Shack & Wing Depot. I like playing closer to home but if I need to make the drive to CR-- I hope it's to Triple Play Park!

This used to be a 9 hole course but they have 18 holes of great golf.
