Stopped for dinner and is Under new management it appears. First impression is the place is very clean. I enjoyed the double burger with fry's. It was Pretty good. I also ordered a large 3 topping pizza, garlic knots and a calzone that was enjoyed as takeout for the family. My only concern is extensive menu which ranges from Italian to Mexican which can be somewhat confusing. But if it's working so be it. Maybe I'll try Mexican selection next time. read more

The workers show their skill as professionals with customers as well as with the pizza'. It is a pleasure to watch them hand make the pizza as well as eating the pizza that you ordered. read more

Ordered two large pizzas to go for total of almost $39. The pizzas were just okay but one had hardly any cheese. Very disappointed.

We always enjoy the salad and wings! The people are always friendly as well and we have always enjoy the quick service.

I will never order from here again. Ever since the ownership changed, the food is crap, and they mess up take out orders. (Not just once, but several times). The final straw...I ordered for my family: - A medium pizza with pepperoni and bacon...they just threw the bacon in globs on only half of the pizza! - A spinach calzone with extra ricotta cheese...(supposed to have just spinach and cheese) it was loaded with HAM! - Fried mushrooms...got fried cauliflower! *Again, not the first time these hacks messed up our food* We gave them chances, thinking it was just them getting into the groove, but nothing has gotten better. I've had frozen pizzas better than this! read more

Much more that a pizza place this is a favorite local restaurant Often paced full of locals. Especially on Sunday The pastas are huge. My spaghetti and meatballs lasted me three meals My friends chicken Marsala did too I saw lots of people getting the burger and fries. So the variety is good Menu selection is big and there is something for everyone. They even are willing to make it differently just for you if they have the ingredients. That's so nice. I had a special order request and they were very willing to accommodate The place is very casual. A little crowded with tightly fitted tables Clean restrooms. Busy with takeout orders. Our pasta orders were delivered to our table within 10 minutes so it was nice fast service. Staff was very friendly. I liked that they double checked my to go order , just to make sure it was done right They have a senior discount, too I go here whenever I'm in town and get takeout if I'm just passing through read more

Pino's Pizza - Menu - Pizza Near Me - Wakefield, Virginia

Grilled chicken salad is awesome, pizza is awesome, and the Alfredo I had once was really good too. Service is always quick. Feels like a small town restaurant where most people know at least one other table of people if not more. Staff is always super kind to my kids. read more

Pino's Pizza - Miggy''s salad with chicken, steak and shrimp. Yummy. The housemade dressings are very good. - Pizza Near Me - Wakefield, Virginia

I hate writing reviews like this but other people definitely be need to know. We stopped by this place on a whim traveling through and we're excited to get some local pizza. We walked in and all of the staff, and patrons in the lobby were unmasked (in midst of COVID-19). We started approaching the register when the female, blonde, Caucasian waitress says "What do you need?" No hello, no welcome, no how can I help you. I said we want to place an order for takeout and she sent us to the bar area. The lady at the bar answered the phone instead of taking the time.to hey our order. There was a younger Hispanic female who was sent to tend to th Caucasian patron who called his order in and we were left to stand waiting. We walked out. There is NO ROOM IN THIS WORLD FOR IGNORANCE AND RACISM, DISCRIMINATION and any other label you want to add. I'd rather spend my money at McDonald's! Hell at least I'd get a half smile I encourage people of African American descent to skip this place and go elsewhere where you can at least be greeted properly read more

Here's the thing with this place. If you are not from the area or , if you are from a more urban area, you may not think twice about it. Most folks drive right by and go to Virginia Diner (overrated). Pino's does a great job with the pizza, the calzones and the sandwiches. Skip the diner and come here instead. read more

We usually stop at the Virginia Diner on the way home from the beach. We were craving pizza though so we checked out Pino's. So glad we did! The pizza was great, the staff friendly and it was clean. read more

Love this place. Only place with draft beer within 25 miles radius. Have had lots of different dishes. All were great. Never had a bad meal. My favorite is the taco pizza though. Tacos and pizza, no brainer. read more

Everyone has heard about the Virginia Diner in Wakefield but thanks to my husband and target shooting, I was introduced to this little place with big pizza taste. Pino's is a small mom-and-pop pizza joint that makes some of the best pizza I have had- it is billed as authentic New York Pizza and while I have not been to New York, Pino's Pizza is amazing, The crust is thin and crisp on the bottom but with still a chew to it, and the top is the perfect combination of sauce, toppings and cheese. No greasy puddles at Pino's that you have to blot with paper towels, just delicious pizza that is perfection. Attentive and friendly staff and clean surroundings make this a top choice if you are in the Wakefield/Smithfield area- worth the drive!!! read more

They make great NY style pizza and calzones they have many Italian dishes as well as burgers and sandwiches, plus a kids menu from $3-$5. If you are in Wakefield or just passing through give them a try. The service staff is quick and friendly. I work close by and eat here often. They have improved over the last year and a half. read more

Great food and reasonably priced. So many choices....absolutely loved it!!!

I have eaten here a handful of times and have tried a different menu item each time. Every meal I have gotten here has tasted so horrible. The Chicken Alfredo is the worst I have ever tasted, and I'm not sure how you can mess that up. The "Garlic" knots are hard, DRY pieces of bread rolled up that taste as if they sit overnight and get heated back up by the order. Even the Chicken Caesar salad tasted unpleasant. What "seasoning" are you using on your chicken!?!? If you've ever been to a good Italian style restaurant, like Sals for example, then you will not be satisfied with this food here at Pino's. Also, this specific location is the WORST of all the locations. It is very dirty, especially the kitchen which you can see at the register. Courtland Pino's puts this location to shame with the cleanliness of their restaurant and the quality of their food. I sure hope the chef here at the Wakefield location doesn't think he's got it going on....because I'm here to tell you they need to be replaced. read more

My preference for pizza in Wakefield! They also have fried calamari that I get every time and it is fantastic. I will take Pino's over any pizza chain anyway! read more

Absolutely horrible service and food. Used to love this place but I will never go back. Waitress never checked on us not even once - Alfredo sauce was tasteless and thinner than my iced tea. Horrible horrible horrible. read more

Super friendly, good beer selection (for the area). I had pizza. It was decent. Crust had weird texture and kinda flat and hard but it tasted good. The sauce was the best thing about it. It's not the ritz but it is someplace to get a decent meal if you are around these parts. read more

If you're traveling on 460 between I-95 and Suffolk, Pino's is one of the only options, and it is better than fast food. Don't expect to be impressed, though. Pino's serves a small community that is complacent with mediocre restaurants, so the Pino's staff doesn't have to meet a very high standard. I disagree with most of the reviews praising the pizza here. It's slightly better than a frozen grocery store pizza, and it's a far cry from NY pizza. It WILL give you a little but of "gastric distress" too! When you walk in, the carpet is disgusting, but the owner painted and added new booths about two years ago. About six or seven booths line two walls, and several tables are crowded into the middle of the restaurant. It's usually full at lunchtime, with the locals gathering together at one long table. The staff and owner are nice and attentive. The owner does offer a variety of menu options, and the daily lunch specials (which aren't usually typical Italian meals and are usually country-style) are very popular and priced well. Garlic knots (breadsticks) are served with salads and entrees, and they're a nice addition. The rolls for sandwiches are dry and prepackaged, and portions on subs are skimpy. The French fries aren't even that good. So, if you want an alternative to fast food, Pino's is an option, but don't expect real Italian food or anything impressive. read more

nasty nasty nasty. from the food, to the service, to the personality, to the crowd of the people in there. nasty.

the owner is the cheapest cheapskate i've ever met. i wanted two lemons in my water. the first lemon was free but i wanted two. he charged me 25 cents for second lemon. he has horrible customer service. not to mention i asked for my ranch to go and he wanted to charge me 25 more cents just for the container. so i took his damn bowl of ranch. read more
