Luckily, I have Pinos who first of all have wonderful tomato sauce for their lasagna, chicken parm, other pasta dishes.

First - about the rating. If we only had their pizza and salad, this would be a 5. We had been…read morehiking all day, and didn't feel like cooking at the campground, so we stopped in for an early dinner last Saturday. As it was early, there was only one other table in the restaurant. Any time it's a small Mom & Pop Italian place, we always get at least a slice or a small pizza to compare. Now the sign outside is obviously old (touting steaks, prime rib, strips etc.) so we figured they know their steaks. When I saw Steak Marsala on the menu, I was intrigued. Hubby, ordered the rib eye. We also ordered side salads. Let's start with the good - the salads were fresh with sliced red onion, cucumbers, grape tomatoes and again nothing to write home about, but fresh. The dressings were obviously not homemade. Now the small (10") pizza with extra cheese was phenomenal!!!! There was a ton of cheese, and yet the crust not soggy. It was perfect! Goldilocks would choose THIS pizza sauce - not too sweet, not to acidic. Just right. A note again about this wonderful crust - I almost never eat the outside crust on a pizza - this one I just had to. The not so good - the steaks. Very thin, cheap cuts of ribeye. Yes, I know rib eye has that kernel of fat, but this was almost 70% fat. The Marsala sauce was bland. It could have used more basic seasoning and some more Marsala wine - if they even make their own. My entree was inedible. Hubby eats his steak rare, and there was no way they could make this super thin cut rare, so of course it was over. Here's the thing. He is a steak lover and a purist. He loves steak for the taste of beef alone and never, ever has sauce or anything on it. He asked for A-1. That should tell you something. And interestingly, the A-1 came in a small plastic salad dressing container. Not a bottle. Weird. Do they only have one tub of it in the kitchen? Come on Mimmo's, you can do better. I get that food costs are astronomical in this economy, but your customers deserve better. Take the steak off the menu, if that is what you are going to serve. With so few restaurant choices in this area, you could be amazing with some tweaks. The place started filling up, so the locals do go here. You could be the most popular place in town, if you tried a bit. We actually wanted to go back tonight for that amazing pizza (but they are closed on Monday). There are enough good things (did I mention the pizza?) that we will be back when in town again.

I had a ham and pineapple pizza. My husband had a Rueben sandwich. We both enjoyed our food. We ate…read moreinside but I noticed that they had a nice outside seating patio. We both enjoyed our food.

My second time visiting, I should have stuck with a pizza choice, but decided to go for the Lasagna. I don't know if Thursday nights are cooks day off or they regularly throw a carton of salt into their food but 3 glasses of water and I couldn't make it halfway through. Seriously, the quality of ingredients seems to be there, why would someone use that much salt? Someone else had Ravioli at the table and said it was just as salty and could only eat a few bites. This restaurant needs to learn moderation with the salt shaker. Now let's talk about service: my first time was for lunch and service was great. The food came out fast and fresh. I would have given this place 4 stars. My second time was a Thursday around 6:21pm. There were only a handful of tables occupied and we placed our order fast. We didn't get our food for 45 minutes!!! We counted 10 other tables who got their food before us and were seated After us. We were just a table of 4 and 1 just ordered an app for dinner. Which tasted like it had been under the heat lamp for 40 minutes. Completely soggy. Inedible salty food, soggy apps and an older waitress who never even came and refilled our waters or asked how the food was , makes this an expensive experience to never repeat.

We love Angela's. The food we received was, as always great. We were disappointed on the customer…read moreservice/interaction with the Angela's employee when we called and advised that we did not receive the Stromboli with our Door Dash delivery order. She refused to work with us in getting that replaced and continued numerous times to advise that Door Dash is the issue and they are why we did not receive our complete order, and that there would be no discussion in working with us to get assistance from Angela's on the issue. Door Dash always sends a picture of the order when the driver has picked up the order. Sad to say we did not examine it at the time to notice if the pizza box with the Stromboli was included in the picture or not. When we realized the missing item, that picture was no longer available on line. After speaking with the Angela's employee, we got no response from the Door Dash driver. We will definitely be examining more closely the Door Dash picture sent regarding the order pickup in the future ahead of delivery. We love Angela's and will continue to order from them. Wish they gave their employees a little better set of talking points to use regarding an Angela order through Door Dash that was missing an item.
