    Nice, quiet summer evening.

Good drinks, good atmosphere, and always a good time. It's a good place for families, groups, singles, or whoever shows up.

We came to Farmville to do the High Bridge Trail and fortunately stopped here since it is right along the trail. There is ample room for bike parking, outdoor seating as well as inside. We enjoyed a tasting flight and then returned the next day for another beer so you know it was good!

Pretty good beer (I had a sour), good atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. No food.

Lager, socially distanced outdoor seating, great space

Three Roads has a nice selection of beers including DIPAs, IPA, Stouts, and a terrific lager. Their outside space is large and well-spread out and is right next to the Trail. Unfortunately, while there is a mask mandate, the staff doesn't enforce it and appears to be fine with folks refusing to pull their mask up over their nose. Grab a pint or a flight, and get outside as quickly as you can.

Terrible place, overpriced and judgemental staff. I would never recommend this place even to my worst enemy!

The beer and service are both really good. They don't have food other than popcorn and sometimes food trucks.

The beer was great. The setting was chill. But really it was the service that sold us... Savannah was so kind and helpful.

Our waitress was untrained, super busy visiting her friend the entire time and unable to handle any request. Menu says wings come with a choice of two sauces (ranch, honey mustard, blue cheese, hot honey). We ordered the wings with ranch and blue cheese. The wings came with just ranch and so we asked the waitress. Hey we asked for the ranch and blue cheese. She said we don't carry blue cheese. We said, it says it on the menu. She said, I know it does, but we don't carry it. (hold that thought it gets funnier later ) My mom got a salad that came with balsamic dressing. She asked for olive oil and vinegar and waitress said the only dressing choice besides balsamic was ranch. I got the wedge salad with... guess what.... blue cheese dressing which actually came on it so they do in fact, have blue cheese dressing So then one of the other waitresses from the behind the bar came over to check on us and I said we ordered the wings with blue cheese and ranch, but we only got ranch. And she said OK I'll get you some blue cheese. And I said also do you have olive oil and vinegar. She said yes I'll get you some olive oil and vinegar. Both things that we had asked our original waitress, who continues to be visiting with her friend and taking selfies with her friend and had said these items were unavailable available. So the attentive waitress comes back, not with oil and vinegar, but with a dressing container, full of just olive oil ‍, and not a dressing container with blue cheese dressing, but a dressing container full of just blue cheese crumbles‍. OK, we are going to deal with that. I mean, blue cheese crumbles are great, but they were a little hard to dip your wings into!!. So we asked that waitress for an extra ranch which she immediately brings and we put the blue cheese crumbles into one of the ranches and basically make our own blue cheese dressing. Problem solved. (except for the olive oil and vinegar situation which we just dropped at this point.) Our original waitress never bussed our table for over an hour. We had long finished our cocktails, and they were obviously watered down and done, and we had moved onto a bottle of wine. (I had to go up to the bar and order a bottle of wine myself because again she was clearly at work for other reasons besides actually doing work). Long after we were halfway through the bottle of wine she swaggered over and asked if we needed anything which at that point the only thing we needed was a clean table, but we chose not to ask her for it at that time. So this is the Farmville plague. We have places that have potentially good food, have a nice venue, in this case, a fantastic view, but management continues to hire Longwood students who have no experience in the food, industry, or even any personal experience of nicer dining themselves. And there's no manager watching what these kids are doing and guiding them. We see this over and over again in Farmville where the restaurant has potential, but they just won't train their waitresses. Un-bussed table for the duration of our stay. Incorrect information about what dressings they do and don't have. Lackadaisical attitude about getting us anything outside of what she could punch into the computer straight off the menu. And as seen in the pictures, getting paid by the hour to socialize with her buddy. A real shame for such a beautiful rooftop bar that actually has good food

The seasonal cocktails that we tried were very nice and refreshing. We also had a dip trio platter for a snack that was quite good. There is a feta cheese blend on it that is heavy on the garlic but yummy( make sure anyone you want to be within 10 feet of has some too). Keep in mind it is an open rooftop so very weather dependent. Definitely will try this place for dinner in the future.

We barely put a dent in them but not for lack of trying. The grilled cheese and soup were also really tasty. I wish I was less full and able to enjoy it more. I've never experienced this before but was happy that we at least got our beer. My husband ordered an IPA and I got a flight (per usual!) I had looked at the website prior and while they list their flagship beers, they do not have a list of their seasonal offerings until you get into the brewery. I must say that I was much more impressed with the selection once we got there. We went outside to sit (it was a BEAUTIFUL day!) and were lucky enough to get a seat in the shade. The view was absolutely spectacular. If you love Buggs Island Lake (or Kerr Lake as this North Carolinian calls it), you will love this view. It's honestly the best part of this place. You can plenty of water, the bridge coming into Clarksville, and the train trestle. I must point out that you couldn't go wrong sitting inside in the AC either. It's decorated very nicely! We finally got notified that we were now able to order our food. We went to the window and let them know what we wanted. We were then given another buzzer that would let us know when our food was ready. (I'm a bit baffled by this process to be honest.) We ordered another beer. My favorite was the S'mores Porter (this was a seasonal option). Very tasty and VERY reminiscent of a S'more. My husband really enjoyed the Hazy Lake Day IPA. Our food was ready in the middle of our second beer. I got the smash burger and the hubs got the catfish bites. My smash burger was pretty good but the fries were just okay...they were not crispy...at all. Very floppy. They were warm though so at least that. The real star was the catfish. Cooked and seasoned perfectly, it was delicious. We also got some pimento cheese to go. It came with 2 packets of Stacy's Pita chips but I thought it was a little pricey for $8. Overall I was satisfied with the food, I will just try a different side next time. When it came time to close our tab, it asked if we wanted to tip, 18, 20, or 25% on our total bill. I only tipped on the beer since I had to get up to order my food and then go retrieve it myself as well...I did not mind doing that, I just don't think that's a procedure worth tipping. All of the bartenders were very pleasant. This really was a wonderful afternoon with friends. I probably won't come during the summer since I imagine it being crowded, but I will definitely return in the fall or next spring. I wanted to purchase a pint glass but they didn't have them. They only had the 5 oz flight glasses. Hopefully they will get some in the future! Ps. They do have a designated parking lot but it seems to get full fast. Not sure if you're allowed to park at the hotel next door or not!
