Great customer service, but the quality of the promotional products I ordered from Pinnacle Promotions didn't meet my expectations. My sales contact, Monica Embley, was great. She was very friendly and helped answer all of my questions about the promotional items I was considering. I purchased the Scripto Tech Dual Ballpoint Stylus (Item#: 6002-17). An art proof of the pens was emailed for my approval 24 hours after I had purchased the pens and my order shipped the following day. I could not have asked for more prompt service. Unfortunately, the pens do not look as nice as they appeared to be on the website. There are two seams that run down the barrel of the pen. When I notified Monica that I was not happy with the pens she offered me a 10% off discount on my next order. It was a nice gesture, but I think I might have to require a sample next time instead of relying on a digital proof. read more

We ordered calendars for 2018 in May of 2017 and received a discount for ordering early per our rep (Kristin Ellwood). For the 2019 calendars we ordered later in the year and did not receive a discount. Which was fine. In May I ordered the 2020 calendars and requested a discount for ordering early and was told by our rep (Monica Berry) that Pinnacle Promotions does not offer discounts for ordering early. I told her that we had in the past. It is sad that we were not given a discount that we were given in the past and was told by the rep that Pinnacle Promotions does not give discounts. read more

Last year we ran out of school seal stickers we use on our diplomas and some other documents. The original producer of our seals would sell a new roll of 1000 seals for - to my shock - $1000. We contacted Pinnacle and I was connected with Shelley. Up front she said that while the seal might not be 100% the same material as our original seals, we would get a very comparable product for about $230. The seals we got were not only perfect, and at the price quoted, but I think the material is exactly the same. We got a free sample first of all, and I couldn't tell any difference. The were embossed, very sticky, and just all around perfect. I can't believe we managed to get those seals duplicated and for less than 25% of the cost... that's crazy. Shelley was so professional and on the ball... all handled in record speeds... we will definitely be ordering from her again when the need arises. read more

I've worked with Pinnacle for 5 years. Great service! Their technology is impressive. You can do just about everything on their website, and all the confirmations and order tracking is done electronically. Definitely like most of the mom/pop shops out there, and they dont nickel and dime you to death. read more

I found Pinnacle Promotions through a web search, and since I couldn't find many online reviews, I was nervous to work with them. Thankfully everything went smoothly, and in fact they were extremely accommodating when I wasn't satisfied with the virtual samples and asked for design adjustments multiple times. In the end, the products (Sharpie pens with our company's logo) arrived sooner than expected and were perfect, plus it was cheaper and less of a hassle than if I had ordered the same thing through Staples (who would have charged designer fees for each adjustment to the design). read more

I recently placed an order with Pinnacle (11/2012). I was really pleased with the selection of products offered. Initially I didn't see the type of product I'd wanted, so I placed an order for something else. I received the confirmation and art proofs for the order fairly quickly, but in the meantime I came to realize that they had the product I wanted- a Built reusable lunch bag. I asked the customer service team if I could change the order to the lunch bags, figuring they wouldn't mind because 1) production hadn't begun and 2) the new order was a higher price point. They quickly helped me to change the order and sent the new proofs. All was well. Unfortunately, when my order arrived about 5 days later, it was someone else's order of lunch bags (different size and color, different business's logo). Because of Pinnacle's unusual approach of using a customer service team, and since several members of the team had helped me to that point, I sent an email to the entire team letting them know I'd received the wrong shipment. I got two pretty quick responses: the first was an email from one team member, stating that she was sorry and would investigate what happened at the factory but, as it was already 5pm, would have to get back to me in the morning. The second response was a call from one of the other team members, who informed me that there must have been a mix-up and they'd have my order re-printed and shipped asap while they figured out what had happened. That was a Monday evening. I didn't hear anything again until Thursday morning. I had assumed, as I was told Monday, that my order had been re-printed and would be arriving any day. But on Thursday I received an email from a different team member stating that my order had gone to another customer and that customer's order had gone to me. Pinnacle was sending each of us a UPS shipping label with the other's address, and asking us to prep the orders and drop them off at a UPS store right away, and then they'd send us the tracking info as soon as they had it. Despite the inconvenience, I stopped at UPS and shipped the package out to the other customer within a couple of hours of receiving the label. However, by Friday I'd still not received tracking info. I did not hear anything until Monday, at which point I was informed by Pinnacle that my package would be picked up that day and they'd send the tracking info on. Didn't happen. On Tuesday I received a message saying that the package still hadn't been shipped but that Pinnacle was staying "on top of" the other customer to get them to ship. By this time, I'd lost my patience. Although I'd been completely understanding about the shipping error, I found it frustrating that a company that claims "awesome" customer service experienced multiple failures in handling this mix-up. First, I was told that my order would be re-printed and shipped immediately, but then notified 3 days later that the other customer and I were to swap orders. No doubt they were trying to save the cost of reprinting and shipping two orders, but this meant that I was dependent on another customer being concerned enough to ship my order in a timely manner (they clearly were not). Then, my emails to the customer service team with requests for information either went unacknowledged or did not receive a reply for 1-3 days. At noon Tues, I sent an (obviously angry but civil) email to the team stating that I was frustrated because their delay in getting the correct order to me was delaying my ability to ship to my clients, many of whom live overseas and would now not receive their gift by the end of the year. I received no response to that email, so I called the account manager around noon the next day. When she called me back that afternoon, she apologized and offered a partial refund as well as a discount on my next order. She also said that my order had been shipped the previous day (why didn't anyone let me know or send tracking?) and would arrive Thursday. She tried to blame the whole mix-up on the factory, but, as I explained to her, my problem was not so much with the factory's error as it was with the disappointing customer service. Their team approach may allow questions to be handled and orders to be processed quickly, but in the case of a mistaken shipment, it appeared the right hand didn't know what the left was doing, and that perhaps some team members thought someone else was taking care of it. As a small business owner, customer service is crucial to my ability to retain clients; if I handled my clients in the way that Pinnacle treated me, I would certainly not have any clients left. Needless to say, I will not be taking them up on their discount for another order. I do hope, for the sake of other customers, that the account manager did, as she told me on the phone, have a talk with her team about their responsiveness. I can add, however, that when my product finally did arrive, it looked nice and was just what I'd expected. read more
