I've only had great experiences with the Pinnacle lodging team. They're always responsive and on top of it.

I received many updates through both the AirBNB app (where we booked through) and also directly from the property managers. All of a sudden 3 days before our trip I got an email titled "Information about your trip to Frisco". Luckily I read it right away and they said the house was no longer available. The offered three alternate houses and claimed they are "upgraded accommodations". Not only were none of the options in Frisco, they were not upgraded at all compared to what we booked. I wrote back asking why our reservation was canceled and instead of answering my question I got a 4th option, also not in Frisco. Clearly by messaging me outside of AirBNB they were trying to get me to switch it or cancel so they wouldn't have to pay cancellation penalties. Due to it being a busy season and 3 days before our trip our only option was a downgraded house in a worse location. They have ruined our trip, and still haven't answered our question. (If I had to guess they wanted to book it for more money so they canceled our reservation). We will never book with Visit Breck again. Awful service.

We rented a Condo in Frisco, CO for 10 days. Overall, the stay was great...good location,…read morecomfortable (but dated) accommodations, etc. Only negative is we left a bag in the bedroom...nothing too valuable, but Christmas gifts, including two bottles of good wine, gifts shipped from our daughter in France, and other items we're still figuring out. We called them on the Monday after the Friday we left (drove from Ohio so took us two days to get home and figure out it was missing). They said they couldn't check until Thursday when cleaning people arrived. Had to call back before they checked. Told us there was no bag...they hope we find it. We only left it one place and that was in our room. It was our mistake to leave, but they handled with no sense of urgency and if the only access was the cleaning people, then what do they think happened to the bag? Mostly just disappointed in the lack of customer service.

Booked to stay March 2026. Have never experienced a 24 hr cancellation policy for 100% refund…read more First flag. Was a discrepancy on the listing. Big Horn blamed Airbnb?! No washing machine. Not going to go to Colorado in March without a washing machine. Sent a message to Bighorn in the afternoon expecting a response pretty quickly. I thought about the reviews of some unhappy guests but mainly remembered Big Horn's RUDE responses - customers are NEVER right mentality. I ended up going to bed that night without a response. When I woke up next day I looked and still no response. I had to leave for work and could not leave to chance them getting back to me within their "9 hr response time" so I cancelled. Well turns out they said I hadn't canceled?! Long story short I was out of $1200, My advice to anyone is when you feel out anything to Airbnb, keep a copy (photos, etc). The long AI messages you get, keep a copy. They are not there for the guests believe me. I thought I had learned from my experience in Madrid in October but my photos this time were not respected/used. The other suggestion I will make is don't book with a conglomerate or corporate apartment (Europe) because the service is just not there. Look for owners.

It's possible that the Vallee Blanche has the nicest view in the Mountain Side complex. Updated in many areas and very comfortable furnishings, it's hard to imagine anything better in this older complex except maybe for the Sarenne. We rented the condo is directly from the owner so there is no management company or wandering the town trying to find your keys and check in. The owner is excellent to work with and she was available by phone email any time and provided us with lots of local information and simply made our trip as nice and easy as it could be. Anyone who has rented condos through a management company can attest that, that alone is worth more than I can say....... The location of Mountain Side is excellent. Mountain Side is in Summit County, Colorado; the Town of Frisco to be exact. Frisco is the center of everything in Summit County, Colorado and Mountain Side is the on the edge of Frisco up against the National Forest. You can walk to Main Street and all of the major Summit Resorts are a short drive or bus ride away. The Mountain Side complex has a great club house with a pool, hot tubs and even a racquetball court. Because it borders the National Forest, it's also a great place to base for hiking, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing and I imagine, cycling in the summer. This was a great stay, in a great place and we'll be back.

Sometimes the rustic decor at so many other mountain places is just too cliched and even overwhelming - this is instead a tastefully appointed vacation spot. We found Frisco to be a wonderful town - not too touristy, but enough restaurants, shops and things to do to more than keep us busy. This condo is right on the bike paths which makes getting around super easy. It's also on the far edge of town, right up to the mountains and just beyond a residential area so it was quiet and beautiful. The pictures don't show the small but very nice patio at the back. For summer visitors this is a great bonus for enjoying the views and enjoying the cross breezes inside. Everything was clean and new and the kitchen was loaded with utensils, pots and pans, storage containers and even margarita glasses! The bed is comfortable and the shower is fabulous. We mostly went out to dinner, but it was great to have the full kitchen for fixing other meals. Best of all I found Stefani to be super responsive to questions and details. Great people to do business with, and I will absolutely stay here again should the occasion arise.

I made it clear that I am the only one out of a party of four that drinks coffee so the cards don't do much, and anyone that goes to Starbucks knows $10 won't get you far. We were then "guaranteed" check in within the half hour. 45 mins later we finally get the call so by the time we got the keys and got to unit 147 it was after. Upon arrival we find the owner does indeed seem to be gone but his dog is NOT. This is a problem since there is only a hollow basement door separating his dog from mine. So we call the "after hours emergency number" provided and had to leave two messages before getting a call back. Summit calls the owner and he shows up. Now by this time we have missed the first family event that we drive here from Chicago area for. We decide to bring our dog with us to see if any family was still hanging around and try to salvage the night. My husband runs into the owner - Mike seems to be a nice guy - and is told the man would get what he needs, clean up and take the dog. We come back a couple hours later and not only is Mike still here but his family has joined him and he informs us that they will in fact be in the downstairs unit during our stay. He says he will work with us to give us the access we were promised by Summit to the yard, patio and fire pit. Very nice of him but NOT what we booked this place for. We did not book a private dog friendly place away from the rest of our family to have to share yard time with people we don't know. Keep in mind here that it is advertised that the owner does not stay in his unit while the upper level is rented out. Upon finally spending a little time inside the chalet I find the counters and table are sticky, one of the beds had been made with visibly stained sheets and there are no screens on any of the windows. Yet Summit says they have enhanced cleaning practices. None of this instills confidence that I have my family staying in a clean environment. Everyplace else in and nearby Dillon that is dog friendly is fully booked, so leaving here does not seem to be an option. Horrible start.
