Apparently, I should've read the reviews before setting an appointment at this terrible place. They treated me like absolute garbage. I have a bad back & bad feet. I had 3 appointments after waiting over a month to get in. I'm in incredible pain daily just to walk because of my feet. The Dr acknowledged my feet issue but never gave me the referral he said he would. They asked me so many times about getting vaccines and didn't like no as an answer. I did a X Ray on my back and the receptionist not the Dr called me to give me my results and in the most u professional way possible said the Dr said there's nothing wrong with your back. That is a lie as I have had multiple injections and the nerve endings in back burned off years ago & my back is heavily documented but rather than request my medical records they lied and said nothing is wrong. To be completely honest I felt so uncomfortable in there with some of the receptionists and especially with the male Dr there. The disrespect I was shown felt racist to me. I also asked at the end of every payment if I owe anything and they said no every time and then all the sudden I owe them $111 for absolutely nothing. Thanks for the terrible service I was provided and for making me feel like garbage. I highly recommend going to any other medical facility than this place. The lady that did my X Rays was the only person who treated me with dignity and respect. The Dr is a disrespectful piece of trash thinking people are just going there for meds which is not the case for me. It should be considered malpractice for not helping me at all and forcing me to suffer even longer. I can only imagine what other patients have been too or if this facility has been sued for malpractice. They're not there to help only to take your money and dignity!

Already had gotten out of work and had to drive and extra 25 minutes because i don't work locally. Not to mention my kid not going to school for this appointment. To top it off, called to ask why they had canceled the appointment, didn't answer until the 21 call. Still having me on hold for the first 11 minutes. Writing this review because it is not the first time. Had two appointment's this week both canceled last minute. Happened last month also and has been going on for month's before. I know i'm not the only one they do this too. This is very frustrating especially as a single mom.

I've never been there for anything other than my worker's comp case so I no longer know who works there since the various name changes. Dr. Anis whom I call Dr. Anus for various reasons was a horrible doctor. Dr. Peña is a straight up a-hole! That guy has been passed around to all the Soledad clinics. I refuse to ever see him again! I made a complaint against him on how he treated me and made me feel and nothing was ever done. I never even got an apology from Dr. Slater at the time when he was head at Mission HealthcareCenter, nor did he respond back to me. I told him in person and in writing and I was just dismissed. I was glad when Dr. Slater retired, but was hoping all the others would be gone too! I pray they have better doctors now in 2024.

We spoke on the phone, she answered all my questions and made me fell confident and comfortable. After arriving, I had my first appointment and weekly visits until the baby came. All standard tests and procedures were offered and the pros and cons of each were explained thoroughly. My decisions for or against any procedure or test were respected and never questioned. The day I went into labor, she arrived early and assessed my progress. She offered support and encouragement, and empowered and calmed me through the hardest parts. Once the baby came, she gave her to me immediately. While baby and I bonded, she finished up, helped clean up the house, and prepared our bed (it was the middle of the night). When it was time, my husband got to weigh the baby. Leslie performed the rest of the initial infant assessments, made sure everyone was comfortable, then left us for the night. She returned to our home multiple times in the following week to check on my recovery and the baby's progress. I felt comfortable with her every step of the way. If you are considering homebirth (waterbirth is an option!), I recommend meeting with Leslie. Her first consultation is free, and though her office is located in Mid-Valley, it isn't that long of a drive and there are some great restaurants right across the street!
