This more than a just a medical clinic. It has a great Well Baby program for pregnant women and other special services for helping women maintain their health and the health of their families. 10 out of 10 don't recommend! Never again will I go here. I should be able to leave negative or 0 stars. I'm not the only person who feels this way about this Dr and his employees. Apparently, I should've read the reviews before setting an appointment at this terrible place. They treated me like absolute garbage. I have a bad back & bad feet. I had 3 appointments after waiting over a month to get in. I'm in incredible pain daily just to walk because of my feet. The Dr acknowledged my feet issue but never gave me the referral he said he would. They asked me so many times about getting vaccines and didn't like no as an answer. I did a X Ray on my back and the receptionist not the Dr called me to give me my results and in the most u professional way possible said the Dr said there's nothing wrong with your back. That is a lie as I have had multiple injections and the nerve endings in back burned off years ago & my back is heavily documented but rather than request my medical records they lied and said nothing is wrong. To be completely honest I felt so uncomfortable in there with some of the receptionists and especially with the male Dr there. The disrespect I was shown felt racist to me. I also asked at the end of every payment if I owe anything and they said no every time and then all the sudden I owe them $111 for absolutely nothing. Thanks for the terrible service I was provided and for making me feel like garbage. I highly recommend going to any other medical facility than this place. The lady that did my X Rays was the only person who treated me with dignity and respect. The Dr is a disrespectful piece of trash thinking people are just going there for meds which is not the case for me. It should be considered malpractice for not helping me at all and forcing me to suffer even longer. I can only imagine what other patients have been too or if this facility has been sued for malpractice. They're not there to help only to take your money and dignity! read more

They cancel last minute. Doctor called in sick at 5 they didn't text me until 8. Appointment was at 8:30. Already had gotten out of work and had to drive and extra 25 minutes because i don't work locally. Not to mention my kid not going to school for this appointment. To top it off, called to ask why they had canceled the appointment, didn't answer until the 21 call. Still having me on hold for the first 11 minutes. Writing this review because it is not the first time. Had two appointment's this week both canceled last minute. Happened last month also and has been going on for month's before. I called a day prior to make an appointment to simply get a Dr's note. They tell me to just come in as a walk in. Came in before 9am and I have to wait 2.5 hrs in my car because I'm really sick with the flu. How can you make someone wait that long for a simple note. Dr saw me for 3 min and gave me my note. If I could give Dr Jackson 5 stars alone for the times I bring my daughter with my appointments, I would. She's a great Dr and amazing with kids but the receptionists ruin the place. This place is an absolute disaster due to only one reason..... their leader .!! The staff is wonderful. I've been going there for 15 years and In the last 4 months I have seen decline like never before. Ida Chan relieved the clinical operations manager in November due to "she wasn't heading in the same direction " as her. That direction being Down hill. I went to the grand opening of the new women's health center a few years ago and when I witnessed the speech the new CEO delivered I was in shock!!! She took all the credit for the new center when I personally new that it was a few others that had facilitated it from the ground up not her. But she took ALL the credit even tho she had only been there a very very short time! So it's sad and irritating to see the decline this wonderful clinic has taken. Normally you can call and make an appointment and get in within a few days. I had to wait 2 1/2 weeks then I had to wait another 2 1/2 weeks just to get routine bloodwork done and then another two weeks to get into see my doctor again to have the results read to me. I suggest the King City clinic or the Greenfield clinic. I believe they are heading in the right direction... And FYI Gary Stabb is no longer the CEO or I believe it would still be an awesome clinic !! read more

I'm so frustrated with this clinic I've had chronic stomach pain that has been reoccurring 3 times now. the first time I came in as a walk in, the walk in doctor minimized my pain and because I'm female he said it was possible it could be cramps. The second time I was given pain killers and told to schedule an appointment after my covid test came negative by then the pain had gone away and I still didn't know what was wrong with me. But that I should schedule an appointment again if it came back. Because the pain is so intense it causes me to vomit they said I had to get tested yet again before they can do anything. I feel so frustrated and emotionally exhausted. I would have gone to the ER from the start if it wasn't because they minimized my pain in the first place making me feel that it wasn't as bad and that it could be due to cramps. If you're in pain don't let them tell you your pain is normal. Don't waste your time here and just go to an ER. I know covid times are different and they want to be carful but this is excessive and disappointing. read more

I waited exactly one hour for my doctor for my postpartum appointment and rescheduled because I had to keep waiting because my doctor was "behind". I was told I was next 30 minutes after I arrived but that they were just waiting for a room. However he was seeing other patients that were arriving way longer after I had. I know this because I already know his medical assistants who were calling in the patients. Waste of my time and Gas since I don't live in Soledad. The best Medical Facility in Soledad hands down, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. They have x-ray, ultrasound, podiatry and gynecology services. They are also open open til 8:00 PM. which is very convenient for those who work full time. Would recommend to family and friends also they take medical and most insurances. read more

The Soledad Medical Clinic is by far the most incompetent group of health "professionals" I have ever had the displeasure of being tending by. Most dissatisfied Yelp reviews start off with, "If I could give this place less than one star..." And in this case, it is true! This clinic is one of the few in Soledad, CA and they know it. My brother went in for an ear lavage, a simple clean-your-earwax-buildup kind of day. He paid the copayment of $25 and the person at the front desk took the payment, said nothing more. Lo and behold the bill is mailed home; $457 for taking wax out of his ear, FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY SEVEN DOLLARS. A portion of this was paid by his insurance, yet still there was a remaining balance of $108. The insurance company reached out to the billing department at the clinic to inquire about this charge. Apparently, the billing department "misunderstood the benefits of the health insurance." How many bills does the department charge to "misunderstand benefits." Listen, your entire job consists of filling charges based on the different types of insurance and benefits a patient may have. Claudia, one of the billing department members then had the nerve on top of their mistake to inform the insurance rep to inform me that we owed $5 because my brother paid $25 instead of $30 for his copayment. Upon checking in when my brother paid $25, why did you not speak up and say that the copayment was actually $30? This is not the first time the clinic has said nothing. Usually, the billing department takes their sweet sweet time sending the bill for $5, which they gladly will send on to collections when we are under the impression the copayment has been paid in full. OR, other fun times when on top of giving a receipt as proof of payment, the clinic sends a bill asking for the copayment. These people really think there are hours in the day to spare calling the insurance company and the billing department and the front office while getting the runaround working a minimum wage job 40 hours a week plus taking care of the family, among other responsibilities. Stop taking advantage of people's time and trust. Additionally, the overprescribing. My father went in for a checkup and he left the appointment with medication for diabetes, cholesterol and blood pressure. The most flabbergasting part is the prescription from Dr. Pena for cholesterol when no blood work was done. I asked my dad if they had drawn blood and he said yes because he thought I was referring to a finger prick to check blood sugar levels. When I explained again, did they draw blood for testing, he said no. No bloodwork was done to determine whether cholesterol levels where higher or lower than normal. Yet still, cholesterol medication was prescribed because it is "normal procedure." After calling to make a complaint, the clinic operations direction, Cassie Russo proceeding with the gaslighting. Instead of addressing why he was prescribed medication without the proper testing conducted, she condescendingly asked why I would send my father to the doctor when I had Google. I inquired about why the highest dosage of Metformin was prescribed to my father who had previously never taken any medication for his condition. Cassie informed me that the highest dosage was also "normal procedure" and that his sugar levels were dangerously high. I sent my dad to the Dr. with a log of his sugar levels that I personally was checking for him while I was visiting home from school. Dr. Pena told my father that his blood levels looked good, but prescribed the highest dosage anyway. So, when asking why the Dr. would do this, Cassie alleged I did not care about my father and his health if I was telling him to not take the medication. If the medication is to help maintain higher sugar levels and he suddenly takes the highest dosage, is there not a chance that his blood sugar would drop way too much, way too fast? Does the clinic care? They charged for the visit, that is as much as they could bare to extend empathy. I could go on listing the number of atrocities the clinic has committed in the last ten years or so of living in this town but I'd need an entire website dedicated to these experiences. For doctors and health care professionals at this clinic that joined for the sake of altruism, don't be surprised if you don't find any. I would give the clinic 5 stars for finding ways to charge the working people. You really have better chances of over diagnosing yourself on WebMD and finding a YouTube tutorial to solve your problem than you do at the Soledad Medical Clinic. In conclusion, if you have other options for a clinic, take it! You really have to call your insurance company and ask about any potential thing the clinic may or may not charge you for before going to your appointment so that you are wary of getting charged or talked into a treatment you do not need. I'll be adding to this complaint as the clinic continues the blunders, because there will be more. read more

I loved this place when I lived in the area, staff in the front are very welcoming and assist you in all your requests. This clinic is always very clean and gets disinfected throughout the day, theres a tv in the waiting area and toys for the kids, all the staff in the back are great as well! All my kids were seen here by Dr.Jackson she is the best!! We followed her from the other clinic she worked for. I love that this clinic offers so many services in one place! I have been living in South County for ove 10 years & had not found a doctor that I could see without an hours wait, with an appointment. When I stumbled across this clinic, it truly was a completely different vibe & Soooo efficient. The staff is friendly & professional. I have seen Dr. Giron, he's a wonderful & caring doctor, but I felt I personally needed a woman doctor, I was totally blessed again with another wonderful doctor. Dr. Beltran is so caring & wonderful. She addresses all my needs. I have to say with my experience with both doctors, I never felt rushed or got the "look" of hurry up, or the cut you off mid sentance to end the apparent "unspoken 15 rule" to rush out. If you got a serious issue they WILL address it with care & patience. The medical assistants are super friendly & personable. One thing you must know about this clinic, if you are 5 minutes late, YOU WILL NOT BE SEEN!! No 15 minute window like other doctors, but I dont view it as a bad thing. I think that's why when you go in, it runs smooth because the doctors are not backed up from late arrivals. So it's to your benefit to be on time, like you would for work or any other time sensitive appointment. They do accept walk ins & they cznt guarantee your wait time, but usually is not bad & it's worth it to be seen by caring staff & quality doctors. read more

Great medical care and never that long of a wait. They take walk-ins which is nice because you don't want to wait days for an appointment when you are sick! They are extremely busy and the staff is really nice. I'd give them a higher review but for several years their billing staff at a separate location in town has been an absolute NIGHTMARE. It took 15 months to resolve a simple billing error that they made. And it wasn't the first time I had a billing issue either. The staff in the billing office was always rude and I was so appalled at how sloppy and messy the billing office was when I had to go in to try to get the bill corrected. So unprofessional. Literally, piles of people's private information spilling off of the first desk when you walked in. The awful staff member who made the billing mess and refused to fix it was finally fired this last year and the replacement billing staff is really nice. Dr. Alison Rigby is by far the best MD I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. First of all, I was seen in a timely manner being a walk in. Receptionist was welcoming and sweet, the medical assistant was a sweetheart as well she was friendly, clear with directions and treated me with care as she took my vitals. Wasn't waiting long before seen by Dr. Alison.. She asked me my symptoms and actually listened. Did a thorough exam of me. I felt better knowing she was taking such great care of my needs. She was even kind enough to let me use a breathing treatment. She prescribed some meds and was on my way.. With a staff like this I will be back whenever in need. If only there were more Doctors like her.. THANK YOU! read more
