I asked why he didn't use a level and he told me he's never mounted a scope using levels. Guns 2: asked him to install a sight for my Ruger LCR because I didn't want to mar the sight. He took my money and whoever did the install didn't know how to tap a punch and marred the sight Gun 3: asked him to change sights on my glock 17 to TFX sights, he was a glock armorer. Apparently he didn't have a sight press and had no idea how to install a glock sight, or at least whoever did the work... they FILED material off the base of the sight then tried to secure it with a set screw. The sight slid right out when I racked the slide. I'm sure he has good intentions (he's a LEO) when he started the shop and he knew his way around but he probably got busy and hired someone that has no business working with firearms.

Last fall, my husband bought a pistol and shotgun from Hoosier Armory. I was not totally comfortable with the guns in our house as I have never been an active participant in gun handling in any way.
