When it came about that Mohs was necessary to remove a basal cell carcinoma from my scalp, Dr. Tschetter, her assistant, Shayna, and her scheduling coordinator, Christina, were all fantastic at helping me out. I was able to get an appointment for the same week that I called, they kept me calm and answered all of my questions. Even though I had to go back 3x to get cancer removed, I was glad that Dr. Tschetter was conservative in her approach so that I'll have minimal scarring. She was also meticulous about how she closed up the site so that I will have a straight-line scar along the center part of my hair - it'll be imperceptible once it's fully healed. I am really optimistic about my recovery and couldn't be more thankful that I landed at Dermatology Specialists for this procedure.

This week I went to Mayo Clinic to have a full dermatology review conducted. There were zero issues with anything on my body!! How many people have paid huge $$$ because of the fear they spread. Shameful!

When walking into the clinic I got cozy and comforting vibes. I love the Audrey Hepburn quote…read morebehind the desk! After check-in in I was immediately offered a beverage, which offered very welcoming vibes. The clinic is beautiful and clean. Karisa called me from the waiting area to the procedure room. Karisa is such a delight. She took before pictures and asked a few questions before nurse Lindsey came in. Lindsey blew me away. First of all, she has incredible eye contact, says funny things, and is very educated on anatomy (she speaks intelligently it makes me feel secure, and develops great trust quickly). Lindsey took the time to listen to my concerns and educated me on the process, and when performing the procedure she had such a calm presence and demeanor and made for a more relaxing situation. Lindey helped with lip filler, cheek filler, and Botox. You could tell that patience and comfort are one of Lindsey's top priorities along with precision. I'm so happy my lips didn't bruise! My results thus far are amazing but still healing. The front office staff Dawn and Nick were a pleasure to interact with too. Nick did a great job with offering me a program I could sign up for and help same money at my next visits.

The people who work here are very nice! That's the positive. I do not have unrealistic expectations, but I think it's time to spend my money somewhere else. Also, there are no longer any MDs on the active roster. The two founders no longer work there and the two MD's I loved, Dr. Ann and Dr. Allison, are no longer there. The place has changed over the years and, in my opinion, not for the better.

Amazing! I live between NorCal and Miami so, I spent a lot of time in the sun. I went there to get…read moremy skin checked and was blown away with how kind the staff is. Dr. Louis Pierre spent a lot of time with me. Performed a small procedure then offered to do a laser treatment - for free - because I waited a little bit longer for my appointment 'which is common' in healthcare especially if the doctor is spending time with their patients. No one has ever been so mindful of this fact. They did the treatment and provided TONS of follow up support and provided me with sunscreen or whatever I needed to heal properly. This place is OUTSTANDING! Look no further.

Gaslighting, Sexist, and Medically Contradictory. Do NOT come here…read more I came to Twin Cities Dermatology as a patient with a severe, documented skin condition (Prurigo Nodularis). What I found was a clinic that actively gaslit me, dismissed my documented symptoms, and attempted to rewrite my medical history to avoid taking responsibility. The Gaslighting: I presented with clear, hard nodules on my forehead and body. They initially documented my diagnosis correctly as "Prurigo Nodularis" and started me on a heavy-duty biologic (Dupixent) along with intralesional injections. However, after I raised concerns about my disability paperwork and asked for accommodations, they suddenly changed their tune. They began calling my condition "just eczema." You don't prescribe a powerful biologic like Dupixent for "just eczema." That is a contradiction. They are trying to downplay the severity of my condition to avoid liability. The Sexism: The clinic appears to be exclusively staffed by women, with only one male provider (who is gay). This is not a coincidence. They systematically dismiss straight, Black men as "difficult" or "argumentative" patients. They ignored my explicit request to exclude a specific provider from my sessions. I was not treated with respect or dignity; I was treated like an inconvenience. Refusal to Accommodate: Despite having documented medical records showing I have not been able to work due to the severity of my condition (sleep disruption, concentration issues, mood impacts), they refused to sign my (Disability) form. They claimed they couldn't assess my limitations, despite their own notes stating that my condition impacts my daily activities. Bottom Line: This clinic is not a place for healing. It is a place to be dismissed, gaslit, and under-treated. The doctor and staff will lie to protect themselves rather than help their patients. Do your research, bring your own documentation, and be prepared to fight for basic respect. I will never be returning here, and I hope you won't either.

My general doctor referred me to this clinic. He said his wife goes here and he felt comfortable…read morerecommending it. Today was the first time I had been here. WOW. What a great experience. I will definitely refer friends and family. The décor is quite impressive, and I wasn't expecting it. (Though they do have a spa department also, which would explain the ambiance). The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and I felt welcomed as a valued client. I had a skin checkout appointment with Dr. Chapman who was very personable and not only listened to my concerns but did a thorough skin check and asked good questions which prompted me to point out concerns that needed to be checked out. I had a rather large skin growth I needed removed, but since Dr. Chapman hadn't seen it yet, I assumed I would probably have to go twice, once for evaluation and once for removal. I was delighted that it was small enough that she removed it today (saving me a second appointment). I was really impressed with her caring, her thoroughness, and her positive demeanor. I would definitely recommend this clinic and Dr. Chapman.
