First the good - The main painter on the job (Lucio) was a conscientious and hard worker. He…read moreclearly cared about his work and did a good job. (Thank you Lucio). The main problem - Our house has cedar shingles. The rear of the house is painted, the front is stained - and we wanted to keep the staining at the front. We pointed out to their estimator that some of the stained shingles has caulking marks on them - he told us the stain would cover the marks. He was wrong, but we didn't find that out until they'd finished painting the rear of the house. The team did their best to cover the caulking marks with touch up marker - they look ok from the street, but are very obvious close-up. Had the estimator told us that the stain wouldn't cover these marks, we would have had the whole house painted a single color - but in a different color than we chose for just the rear. There were also some smaller problems - - The quote stated that a porta-potty would be provided - it wasn't. Presumably the quoted price included this. - The quote stated that plants would be covered to protect from spraying - the rhododendron bushes in front of my house now have paint-spattered leaves, and look like they might not survive. - Some of the painters who helped out for just small part of the job weren't very careful - two of my path lights were broken (which they tried to hide by balancing the broken lights on their stands), and someone ripped most of the branches off one rhododendron bush instead of tying them back. - A petrol stain was left on our front path where they refueled their pressure washer. I pointed out these issues to the project manager. I'm very disappointed that no-one from the iTech office has contacted me to apologize, and I can only assume that they don't really care. Therefore I would not recommend them.

The visit for the quote was quick and they got the quote back to me very soon after that. The price quoted was more than fair. Very easy process to schedule the painting and I found them to be very responsive. They did a FANTASTIC job painting the three bedrooms. The two men who came to paint were extremely kind, respectful, and hard working. They took every precaution to ensure that there wouldn't be a mess. Lots of plastic and butcher paper taped down. All hardware and edges were taped thoroughly. All aspects of the job were well thought out and done with intention. The job took two days, just as was planned, and the three rooms look perfect. Two coats of paint and the paint looks seamless. I'm thrilled with the quality and finish of the paint in all three rooms. I 100% recommend Sunrise Custom Painting!

Sunrise Custom Painting painted the exterior of my partner's home. The home had been stripped of…read moreits lead based paint by another contractor. The basic original paint job by Sunrise looked good. However, IT DID NOT LAST, and Sunrise refused to remedy the problem they handled incompetently. The problem with their work developed only a couple of months after their "warranty" lapsed. There were a significant number of vent holes that had been placed in the thick, cedar siding for ventilation that needed to be patched. Sunrise put in expandable foam backing and then filled the holes with polyester "Bondo" to get a smooth surface. The repairs lasted a couple of months after their warranty end, when the "Bondo" broke loose and protruded on most of the "repairs". Sunrise refused to remedy their major mistake. I removed their inadequate "Bondo" surface plug and used construction adhesive to glue in tapered cedar plugs with the wood grain running parallel to the siding grain. The plugs were sanded smooth and I painted the entire board with the new plugs, using the left over paint from the original job. Today, more than 5 years later, my plugged holes can not be found. Beware, they do not stand behind their work, if you have a problem. Note, I was reminded of this sad story when I received an ad for their company in the mail today - - April 2023.

My wife and I recently worked with Clark County General Contracting to repair our bathroom after…read morediscovering water damage. Darrell, the owner, and his worker Nate were fantastic from start to finish. We originally noticed a bump in the bathroom floor that turned out to be a moisture issue. A mitigation company came in to remove the damaged flooring and toilet and dry everything out. After that, we started collecting quotes from contractors--and chose Darrell because he was by far the most straightforward and transparent. He took the time to explain everything clearly, gave us a fair quote, and didn't sugarcoat anything. Once we agreed to move forward, Darrell even handled communication with our insurance company and got the project covered. That alone was a huge help. The work itself turned out great. Darrell and Nate installed new subflooring, laminate that we picked out, and new baseboards. After the job was done, we did notice a couple of minor issues--one with the baseboard seal and another with the threshold transition that my wife wasn't happy with. Darrell came back out promptly and made sure both were addressed to our satisfaction. I've included some photos of the bathroom after mitigation and the finished result--the difference speaks for itself. Great company, easy to work with, and reliable. We're already considering another bathroom remodel, and we'll absolutely be going with Darrell again.

When we moved into our house a few years ago we knew the deck had to go. It was old and rotting…read moreaway. We had many estimates done but CCGC's was by far the most detailed. That and our comfort with Darrell made our choice easy. We made some big changes to our second story deck, so it took some time for a structural engineer to get plans in place but, the final product was well worth the wait. Darrell and Ed worked to make sure our deck was sturdy and well built. We now have an extended deck with awning that actually comes from above the roof line. The difference is night and day and we are thrilled with our new deck!

When weather permitted the painting to start, they started and finished everything within four days. He was very professional and detail oriented. They removed or protected all of the little fixtures around the house--things we hadn't even thought about. Teo patched up some places where the wood siding was peeling, using a special primer to help the wood hold together better. Truly full service. He was also very flexible and accommodating with our needs. Here's one example: there was one part of the trim that we weren't sure if we should paint it the trim color or the house color. We were feeling indecisive but Teo was patient as we thought it through, and he even sent us photos of the progress while we were at work so we could better visualize it and make a more informed decision. He also shared his opinion when we asked for it, which helped us feel more confident in our choices (it's a big deal to redo the whole look of your house!). I'm so glad we accepted his recommendations--they ended up looking great! On top of the excellent painting job, Teo really went above and beyond our expectations. For example, the wood trim at the base of our garage door had rotted away over the years.
