I feel completely misled and taken advantage of by this gym…read more As a 3-month postpartum mom, I engaged in an ad for a free 10 day trial plan at Infinite Martial Arts & Fitness where I was then pressured through AI texts claiming to be "Derek" to sign up for what was presented as a 10-day free trial. After attending just one class, I said I might come back later in the week. I was then told by John to fill out a clipboard at the front and left alone to complete paperwork and provide my banking info, with no clear explanation that I was signing paid membership automatically after the 10 days. The gym experience itself was terrible. I signed up for a boxing class but was placed in a random Muay Thai class with the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor who seemed very uninterested. The coach would demonstrate a technique, tell us to pair up, and then leave us with no guidance. I had to ask multiple times for help and direction--and still received almost no coaching. I never returned after that first visit, yet I've been charged for two months without realizing it. When I reached out, Derek, the owner, refused to refund me and said maybe he would have if I had called sooner. This feels deceptive, disorganized, and poorly handled. Be very cautious

That is what open gym time is for unless previously arranged and approved. Just some perspective for you. I do agree with this review on every other level about the overall professionalism at this facility and the shady business practices and I am sorry you had to endure that. I suspect their 100+ google reviews were paid for or were requested by members, family or friends in the hope of inflating the credibility of this facility. All fitness facilities should be held to a thorough process of high operational standards before they are permitted to open and operate, and during their entire time of operation, to ensure members are taken care of and the right things are happening. My heart goes out to everyone affected by the poor management of this facility, and I hope everyone involved is able to heal from what sounds like a pretty toxic environment.

Very nice instructor and offering a range of classes. The studio is very comfortable and airy (it's…read morea loft). Super helpful to new students. I prefer not to interact with other people in classes because I don't like to be touched by strangers and they did some partner work, which I did not enjoy. But that's just me and we had the option not to partake in those poses/stretching, so just including as an fyi. Overall, I think this is a great place and I'll be back.

I love yoga and feel if everyone did yoga, we'd have a happier, more peaceful world. Okay, I'll get…read moreoff my soap box and just review the classes. I've taken both Yin and Gentle Yoga here from husband and wife team Linda and Howard. The two of them combined have over 40 years of yoga instruction experience. If you don't know much about different yoga types, yin is about longer held postures that will target joints, connective tissue, and meridians, while Gentle Yoga is about medium-length deep stretches and working on the breath. The classes were great; as I sit in front of a computer all day, yoga is necessary to stretch out the many kinks and tight areas. Both teachers were easy to follow and are good about checking students for proper posture and positions. They also teach Hatha and Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow. If you are new to yoga or a veteran yogi, you'll enjoy the atmosphere and the classes here. I've heard great things about the Level 1 Taiji/QiGong Movement and Self Healing classes as well, taught here by Geoff on Saturday mornings, a local integrative counselor. I just haven't taken them yet to comment, but wanted to mention them for anyone interested in this type of movement and healing modality. Namaste!
