Lovely family giving you the full family business experience. My toes are always perfect.

I appreciated that the salon was able to fit me in for a last-minute appointment. However, my experience felt a bit rushed once I arrived. It was initially hard to find the polish colors, and I wasn't given the color book until later in the process, which made things a little difficult. I got a gel manicure and pedicure, but I was concerned that some of the standard steps for a gel service were missed. Unfortunately, one of my nails chipped after just a few days. I also found the pricing to be a little high and the menu a bit confusing with duplicate items and price ranges rather than set prices. read more

I was a walk in and they did a great job to fit me in. Everything for the pedicure was going well until the person painted my toe nails. It was the worst paint job I have experienced. Paint was all over the place off the nail. I asked her to fix it and she tried but couldn't understand why I was dissatisfied. I recommend going somewhere else. read more

I give up. This is the most convenient place to walk in for a pedicure in Chelan, and the people are nice, but the place isn't clean and my pedicure always chips within 2 days. No base coat, no top coat. I pay the same price at Pinkys for a basic pedicure with a 2-3 minute massage that I do in an expensive tourist area (Woodinville) on the West side. in Woodinville, for the same price, I get a nice smelling sugar scrub, better quality lotions, longer massage, and hot stone massage. Plus, top coat, base coat, polish that lasts a few weeks, and a clean environment. This week when I got a pedicure was the last straw. The nice pedicurist clipped my nails, then instead of removing the dirty towel full of nail clippings, proceeded to dry my wet legs with the towel, clippings and all! UGH!! They also try to use a grater on my heels - not sanitary and most of the pedicure places don't use those anymore as they are dangerous. Also, the last two times I came here, it's difficult to know where to look for your color since there are weird unlabeled gel polishes all over the walls (I want regular nail polish, not gel) and they eventually after 5 minutes of me being confused finally waved me over to a filthy table of random assorted OPI nail polishes stacked haphazardly on a table. Not professional and really weird. I'm done. I'll go to Wenatchee for my next pedicures. Sigh. read more

I was given the opposite of what I asked for, the length of my nails were 2x too short, all were extremely crooked, and they are very thin. I paid 60$ and was not given what I asked for. When I asked for her to redo them or give me a refund I was spoken to very rudely and told "no refunds". She victimized herself when I confronted her about how she did not listen to me when I was telling her how to do them. read more

They always do a great job and are so friendly. I highly recommend. Walk ins welcome as well which is great.

I've come here for a couple of years with a bit of hesitation. They get the job done. There are a couple of gals that are decent and do a good job. I've noticed that the men are a little bit rougher and kind of quick so the job doesn't seem as good. In fact the last time my toe nail polish chipped off in two spots. That has never happened...It was either the nail polish or the job. I only go here if I'm in a pinch. read more

Horrible pedi, nail was already smudged before I got checked out. Asked to fix it and the just put a dab of color on top. No leg message and nails looked like a for year old painted them! Overpriced at $40 for a quick basic paint and go pedi. read more

No ventilation at all - we were inhaling acrylic for an hour and had the worst headache. The place is filthy - like VERY dirty. The floors, the walls, the chairs, the front desk - SO GROSS. I had to carefully pick my polish because the majority of them appeared old and the polish was separating and discolored. My toes turned out fine, the massage was good, but I swear I was going to walk out with some sort of infection from being in this place. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! read more

HEALTH HAZARD. Ok... I partially feel bad doing this. They are sweet people. But this place is practically a chop shop machine. I went a few times as a child; they've been open for sooo long; but my most recent experience a few days ago just seemed like they were trying to get in as many people as possible. Which sure; I can understand for financial reasons; it's great for business! They're so fast! But part of the reason they're fast is because they're dirty. IT IS A HEALTH HAZARD. I graduated from beauty school, and it is difficult to be trained in how to properly clean things, then go in to a salon that clearly does NOT. Two separate people worked on my nails; (which isn't the problem); but when one gal took my nails over from the man; it was because the man was already starting on a new client WITH ALL THE SAME TOOLS HE USED ON ME. There was NO wiping down anything! From what I witnessed. And... (whether they were real or the fake extensions idk), but there was someone else's nail clippings on the table that i got transferred to. And she just started working on me without moving any of it! This is NOT ok and im surprised they haven't been shut down yet... not to mention that the guy who first started on my set (on my hands) had just rolled his chair over to my table from a pedicure... without washing his hands in between. I SO should've said something. It was wrong of me to keep my mouth shut... so that's why I'm writing this review. It is sad. And the pedicure bowls? I was very thankful to see someone at least spray them with some Lysol after a couple other clients left. But that is NOT how we learned to clean those bowls In school after a client. Granted they could be a different kind/brand; but we were taught to SCRUB the bowls... as well as take the jets out scrub, AND soak them in disinfectant; and NONE of that was happening. There ARE other salons in town; please don't go here. read more

This is currently the only nail salon in the Manson and Lake Chelan area. Salon Indulgence (Downtown Chelan) is now Obadiah Salon, and Obadiah does not offer nail care services. Jewels Hair & Nails (Manson) is no longer in business either. While I want to recognize that there are plenty of bad reviews on this location, Pinky's is a MUCH better decision than making the drive out to Adorn in Brewster. My best recommendation is to try to plan your visit to Pinky's at a time when they would have less customers and more time to pay great attention to your nails (first thing in the morning on a weekday is when I would go). The salon was clean and well managed during my visit today. I was directed to the color wall to select my shellac - there are so many colors to pick from and you browse the gel colors on a wall like you would for a typical mani/pedi, not on pre-painted nail tips like you may be used to looking through at other salons. I was taken care of immediately after my color was chosen. I received a satisfactory trim, but I didn't see the nail technician pull out a nail file at any time. I think he considered the shape "good enough" and moved on without asking if I would like them shaped. While I would not particularly recommend this salon for the pampering experience, I enjoyed the end product and the massage I received was excellent and done with care. All-in-all, I would describe the service that I received as prompt and attentive, and certainly not rushed. I was encouraged to head toward the reception desk when my nail tech was finished painting, and he immediately disinfected the station when I got up. When I got to the desk to pay, the owner mostly pointed and grunted to direct me through the payment process, and she didn't thank me for my patronage. I saw that this was mentioned in other reviews as well, but I wasn't offended when it happened to me. She may not speak English well, and I personally don't believe that I am owed a "thank you" for my patronage. Considering the lack of options in the area, Pinky's was convenient, comfortable, and reasonably priced. I will return any time I'm in Chelan and need a quick and thorough manicure or pedicure. read more

35 bucks for a pedicure with one coat of nail polish plus a top coat. I went with two other gals , one of the ladies didn't even get her toes filed and the other one has a infected toe nail, we don't plan to come back here read more

Honestly the best pedi I've ever had! Younger of the service providers, I forgot to ask her name. Great attention to detail! My feet are soft and the polish looks great! Mani is good too. First time on a french mani- not sure if I love it but she did a good job. Got all my nails cleaned up and cuticles trimmed. Happy customer for sure! I would have given it 5 stars but the shop could use some organizing and tidying. read more

Great family owned business. We go regularly. Pinky is awesome and the service is always outstanding.

This place is an adorable family friendly and accommodating nail salon! I waited to post my review to see how my nails lasted...it's been 2 weeks since I was in Chelan and the polish looks great, especially the gel manicure...yes it's grown out but it's not coming off or catching in my hair! I called ahead to see if they could fit me in and they were able to make it happen...this is a BIG deal considering one salon I called said their nail tech was off for the summer and the others went to voicemail. Soooo, if you're looking for a spot to get your nails done with nice people and excellent workmanship...then this is it! Nothing fancy yet I felt more confident walking out as my nails were on point for the event I had later that evening! read more

Friendly staff, but just a day after my dip, my index finger had a chip and a week later 6/10 are chipped! I have never had that happen before. This is my second time trying this location but with years between my first experience and this last weekend's experience....i would not recommend but also know limited options exist in Chelan. Really sad that for my bday and over $100 spent it did not even last a day!!! read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. My fiancé and I came in for pedicures and she got a manicure also. They took us as a walk in and honestly we had a great experience. Everyone was friendly and we both enjoyed our pedicure very much. I didn't ask her about the manicure but I would 100% return again. read more

Not a pretty spa with Enya playing softly on the sound system. This is your classic no-frills family Vietnamese owned operation. I've had three awesome pedicures with no complaints. They carry my favorite OPI colors and I was thrilled when they extracted a deep ingrown hangnail. Painful yes, but it's healed and it's gone! Will be heading there again this week. read more

I am a local and this nail salon is the only one around. My mother likes to get her nails done so I often go with her. It is surprising how this place is still open, one of the nail lady's walks around barefoot, everyone else looks like there in their pajamas. Unsanitary to say the least and that's not even the half of it. Every time I go to get my nails done the gel peels right off within the first week. Not to mention my mother and I get a mani and pedi for $150+ just for it to fall off within a week after. It is very upsetting and a waste of time and money. Also, if you are looking at the prices for everything, don't because the board they have up on they're wall is always "incorrect" and the price comes out to be more. If I could give this nail salon a 0, I would. read more

I would give this place a minus 5 if I could. Another reviewer said it all....they were rude, they rushed and gave me a half ass pedi/mani. The older woman that seemed to be the boss was abrupt and VERY rude/unfriendly. She worked on my feet part of the time. I am pretty sure she was saying something derogatory about me. It was the only time she smiled and laughed. She made everyone laugh too. You know how you get that feeling when they talk in Asian and the timing just gives you that feeling they are laughing at you? I was very polite and friendly hoping she and the other women would warm up...didn't happen. She just pointed and grunted at me when she wanted me to change feet or move. When I was done she charged me more than what I felt was correct. But, again, she was VERY UNFRIENDLY. But all I wanted to do was get out of there so I didn't question her. SHE DIDNT EVEN SAY "thank you" or "have a good day". I am a generous tipper but I left about a third of what I usually would have. I shouldn't of even tipped that. Never again! read more

I got a full set mani, a gel pedi, and an eyebrow wax. The service I got was great and they were very friendly business being run by a family. My nails looked awesome and so did my sister in law's. I definitely recommend this place! read more

The place is filthy and cluttered. It does not feel clean! Plus the quality of work is not good.

WORST dip manicure ever!! Poor shaping, uneven and lumpy. Left the salon with my daughter in tears. Went back in to get a refund and they started to blame the situation on my daughter's nails. This lady knew it was an issue because she started naming a few things that were a problem. I asked for our money back but she refused. This salon will NEVER get our business again. Additionally, the salon was dirty and didn't appear to be following Covid safety guidelines. read more

Worst nail place. Made an appt for a manicure/pedicure. A lady started my pedicure and asked for the dremmel tool from the worker next to her. She handed it to her after just using it on the customer in the chair next to me. My lady went to use it on me and I asked if she was going to clean it first. She got mad, stood up and said someone else would finish me and that I needed to wait 5 mins as everyone else had a customer. A man came and finished my pedicure very quickly. When I said I was supposed to get a manicure too he told me he was going to eat lunch and I needed to wait until he was done and he would come back and do it afterwards. At that point I left. I will never be back. Several people came and went while I was there and didn't see anyone clean the foot baths in between customers either. Hope I don't get foot fungus. read more

Incredibly friendly and accommodating! Did a very good job with painting my nails. As far as I can tell, everything was very clean and sanitized. The gentleman I had was very nice and courteous, gave me a towel to put over my lap (I had a sundress on, it was appreciated!) Another patron came in with her child, after struggling to keep her content, the ladies working here helped her get a chance to relax by letting her kiddo play with their kids in the back, which is a nice touch when living in a small town. People helping people :) read more

I recently moved to the Methow Valley in Washington. It has already been a year of searching for a place who does acrylic nails. In a 100 mile radius there are a few. A couple with bad reviews snd one I tried made both hands bleed. Both times I went. So when I found Pinky nails when visiting Chelan I was cautiously hopeful. When I first walked in it took a second to realize to leave my shoes at the door. It was comforting like visiting friends homes. To my great surprise -Phat(Paul) on mani and Sara on pedi- I felt like I was back in Las Vegas with the Lyn- my manicurist for the last 15 years. They were kind and cared about what exactly I wanted. I have a problem with ingrown nails on my big toes and Sara figured it out and left me with happy toes. I know it's only one visit so far but I feel like I have found my new salon. I am excited to go back and get them done again for Valentines Day! read more

I came to Chelan for a vacation, but unfortunately on the 2nd day one of my acrylic nails split in the middle leaving me with some unbearable pain. I went in and the lady (who looked like the owner) took great care of me. She carefully added numbing glue to my nail and took the rest of them off without causing me any pain. She made me feel very comfortable and even gave me glue to take on the road just Incase I needed to reapply, and the whole process was only $12. It's all about great customer service at this place. I would definitely go here if you want a polite and relaxing environment! read more
