He timed everything right--baking the regular pedi polish with UV light for an extra hard, glossy finish while he did the mani--and shaped and painted perfectly. I had the best manicure of my life at the OPI Nail Bar, located in Selfridges. My nails really stood the test over the course of two weeks: briney salt water in Barcelona and Valencia, partying hardy in Ibiza, and lugging/packing/unpacking/re-packing a 32 kg suitcase (I like to shop, sue me!). The amazing part is that my nails did not chip or break. They were in pristine condition after all of this. It was pricey though, I wasn't expecting to pay $50 for a manicure but I was desperate and it was worth it. The Nail Bar has all of the new OPI colors available both to use for your manicure and for purchase. You even get to pick out which lotion you want to use...that hand massage was heaven! The technicians take their time and are in no hurry to rush you out (even though the space is tiny, especially if you already have shopping bags). My only complaint is that because the nail bar is located in the women's street wear section of Selfridges (where all of the Oasis, All Saints, Miss Sixty stuff is), that I was subject to La Roux/ Sugababes/ David Guetta blasting for 45 minutes.

They focus just on nails so it's different to other nail salons in the area as they offer beauty treatments as well. They offer all the nail treatments & I have tried almost every treatment they offer as I have been coming here for years. This is the best place in my opinion for a pedicure, I have been to a few different places on spur of the moment and never thoroughly enjoyed it as much as here. The owners who are a husband and wife team have stayed the same since they have opened and I am so glad as the wife is the best for working on natural nails and is amazing at nail design and the husband does the best acrylics, gel etc. If you need to go to an event at Wembley Stadium or Arena and need to get your nails done then definitely pop in here and get them done beforehand but please book in advance, as they are getting more and more popular that walk-ins require a long wait. I got a Shellac manicure, which was carried out expertly at the tune of £30. I would have liked to spend slightly less money given I didn't have any gels to take off (gel nail removal is included in the £30 fee). I'll probably return since I live in the area and am a sucker for convenience. If I'm honest, I prefer Gelish manicures to Shellac ones, which this salon doesn't do.
