Old crumbling bread. Also the hot dog didn't have the "snap" the way the Hollywood location has when you bite into it. The flavor was off as well. I feel bad bashing "Pinks" (I love them) but this location is doing a huge injustice to someone having a "Pinks" hot dog for the first time. If this was my first impression of "Pinks" I would not understand the hype about it. The staff were great, polite and attentive. This is a mark against management. For one start with the buns. If they are old throw them out. Imagine In N Out using old buns and your cousin from Minnesota eating it for the first time. It's embarrassing. Be bold! Throw out Buns that are Old! Ask anyone who knows me, I LOVE hotdogs! Ive been to the HOLLYWOOD location and it was great!... I Have Never had a bad experience there, so I was deeply disappointed when I went to the Pomona RV Show yesterday (10/12/18), which was the last week of the show so hardly anyone was there when the gates opened, to find the RUDEST and most UNPROFESSIONAL manager at the PINKS booth! But first and foremost, my compliments to the young girls taking orders, who have to deal with the unprofessional ATTITUDE from the manager who oversees them. Im not sure which Pinks location was assigned to work at the POMONA FAIR GROUNDS that day but hopefully this gets to the right Department who oversees that part of the operation. Two ladies, (one later claiming to be the manager) were in the kitchen making the orders. I dont mind a little levity at the work place but when there is LOUD CACKLING coming from the kitchen where it affects customer service and how you perform your job I take notice. My original order arrived short two hot dogs!... I was the third order of the day! HOW could you misread the order?! The girl who took my order immediately went to the window and told the cackling fools in the kitchen she was missing some items and was immediately chastised by the manager, telling her to learn how to put the right order in! Then the cackling in the kitchen continued. By now there is a line forming behind me as more people are arriving at the show. I asked the girl if I could add an order of fries to my order and she added the items with a smile and went back to the window to add the order. The reply from one of the CACKLERS was 'YES!, we heard you!' Then the cackling continued. By now the rest of my original order arrived and now Im waiting on the fries. Three couples after me ordered and waited on their food. All of them wondering what was so funny in the kitchen. When one of those couples received their order with fries the girl taking the order reminded the manager she was waiting on the order of fries...MY order of fries. The manager sticks her head out the window and points to the front counter and tells the girl, 'GO BACK TO YOUR REGISTER!' When the girl attempts to tell her she was waiting on an order of fries the manager repeated, 'GO BACK TO YOUR REGISTER AND DO YOUR JOB! YOU DIDNT TELL US ABOUT THE ORDER OF FRIES!' At that point the other CACKLER picks up the order receipt that was plainly sitting at the window , laughs and starts making the order. My wife was shocked I waited so long for the order but I had already paid and I didnt want the girl at the counter to get yelled at again by me wanting my money back. When the order came up the manager stuck her face thru the window and claimed she was the manager and that she added more fries to my order for the inconvenience. Then her and her kitchen partner continued with their comedy show in the kitchen! The counter girl apologized, offered me a drink on the house for the inconvenience. I declined the drink and asked her for the managers name. When I saw the panic in her face I withdrew the question, thanked her for her kind service and left. For the price we pay for food at these venues you would think the service would be much better. Needless to say, this was THE WORST lunch I've had at Pinks!... and my LAST at Venues like this. This branch doesn't even deserve a star because it was the most terrible experience. It wasn't even related to over-crowding or the heat. It's in regards their rudely mannered staff. It was about lunch time and we decided to eat first. We decided to go to their Pink's booth. Everything was going well until, we all asked for a cup of ice. It was hot and munching on the ice was quite refreshing. Instead of being upfront about their BS policy (4 cups per family), one of the staff members decided to rudely comment to heir colleague, "They bought soda." Referring to our souvenir cup. First of all, wot a lack of etiquette to assume that the cups were for the soda. And common sense, if we did drink soda, we'd just pass the cup around. Second of all, there is no rules or regulations that state we can't share even if we wanted to. Because she didn't know how to diffuse the situation she created, a Nina-who claims to be the manager-rudely chimed in. Instead of apologising for how rude her staff approached the situation; she insisted that they only provide 4 cups per family. Uhm, okay, you can keep your cup and your ice. Your staff just made an unnecessary comment, that's wot you're supposed to be addressing. Just a fun fact too, one of their staff addressed that they didn't have such policy about giving away ice because "they do it all the time." read more

Pink's is best place for hot dogs ever they have all kinds,I have been eating their hot dogs for many years starting at the la Brea Blvd location in L.A.But I offer a serious warning to most be careful when asked mild or spicy unless you really like hot!!! stuff remember this it has a delayed reaction after a few bites then wham!!!!'hot hot hot that lasts for a long time after. I normally don't like to make negative reviews but I was overall upset with my service yesterday. First I asked if it was possible to upgrade my fries to chili fries from my combo. The lady just said "No." however if she had common sense all she could've done was charge me for the extra chili and nacho cheese and it would've been the same thing. Next I asked if I can add a cheese slice for my jalapeño dog which would pretty much make it a chili cheese jalapeño dog. All she said was no sorry but we have nacho cheese but it's extra. Like I'm sorry but how hard is it to just charge me for the cheese but communicate with your employees to make it a cheese slice. So at that point I was already disappointed that they didn't bother with customer satisfaction. Lastly, just to top it off... they finally called our order but I was still waiting for my jalapeño dog. So they asked if I was waiting for something...um yes my damn dog?! So I show my receipt and as they talk amongst themselves, they came to the conclusion that they don't have the jalapeño dog. Wtf?! How does the cashier not know what's available? I was already frustrated that I couldn't add cheese to it and come to find out they don't even have it?! Sorry but the cashier was an amateur and overall pissed me off the rest of the day. Management should probably train their cashiers better in learning proper customer service and just simply knowing how to place orders. Also it'll help to know what's available, just a tip to save you more angry reviews. K that's all. read more

Amazing food! Fries are awesome (cheese fries to be exact). Took a bit to get the food but it was definitely worth the wait. If you get the dining pass you get one free meal every visit and I always find myself heading to pinks! read more

Horrible prices, food is meh. Would recommend eating elsewhere if possible. The large hotdogs and fries are super tiny and underwhelming. Also paid an ungodly amount for a drink. read more
