    Menu 8/8/2020

Here goes one for the food truck lol The menu is sprinkled with items that sound good but they may not be for everyone. I shared the menu for you all to decide. We did choose a couple item just because we wanted to try them out since we were having some beers at the local Lone Tree Brewing Company. Cheese Fries and Stuffed French Toast for the lucky two item to hit the table for us. Cheese Fries- they were very good but wish they had more cheese and mainly either some saltier cheese or some bacon bits on top. Stuffed French Toast- the winner of the day! Sweet, covered with delicious blueberries and a custard in the middle that brought the flavors together . Now it did look more of a sandwich but nonetheless it was a nice sweet treat. There are other options such as chicken and waffles, hot dogs of all shapes and sizes and non-traditional burgers served chopped on a hoagie. Maybe some other items catch your eye and you get to try them out. Enjoy!

Great chicken and waffles! And the staff is really pleasant. They visit Lone Tree Brewery often.

I'm sure it's pretty tough to make these as tender as they were, but I was very happy with the results. I also had the pulled pork which was juicy and delicious and the brisket, which is always great. What may have impressed me the most was the grits. I also highly recommend going there on a weekend to get their three dollar Sammie. Don't think you'll beat that price anywhere for a solid amount of meat.

The employee taking orders didn't know much about the sides (when my friend asked about the beans he just showed them to him instead of explaining what they have in them or if he likes them). I asked about the grits and another employee had to chime in that they were good. We both ordered the combo which includes a drink and side. We waited for a while for our food and went in after a while to see if everything was ready. They seemed flustered and told us the food would be right out. Granted there were a few people ahead of us but less than 5 total. The real McCoy sandwich was REAL dry. It comes with burnt ends and the bison green Chile and cheddar sausage (used to have pork as well) and their regular or buffalo sauce helped but not enough to overcome the dryness of the meats. The andouille & corn grits were fine as well. The sausage gives it a nice pop but the grits were more like potatoes in consistency. The best part was the Boylans ginger ale. Bummed Roaming Buffalo wasn't what I had previously. May come back but with other BBQ options it may be a while.

I have since had a kid and don't drink anymore, but their food is SO ABSOLUTELY AMAZING I keep coming back. I think that even people who don't particularly enjoy the music or ambiance also frequent this spot, because the food is just that good. I definitely would recommend their Brisket Sammy. My son loves their grilled cheese, and their chicken tenders are also delicious. Do NOT skip the Holla Pena Lollipoppas, and make sure to get an extra side of the raspberry jalapeño jam to dip your tots or fries in!

I don't want to say our server was slow, but she wasn't really present, and thus our service was slow/off. I love the chicken sandwich here with the buffalo sauce, but there was almost zero buffalo sauce on it this time. The fried parts all fell off while trying to eat, and so I was left with a normal chicken sandwich. One bright spot was the egg rolls, as always, and the buried fries. I love Brutal Poodle, but the other night was an off night for sure.

I ordered traditional Buffalo and BBQ wings. This is the first place I have been where you could specify the cut of chicken you wanted. The wings were good, Buffalo Sauce a little too salty but still tasty. The wings were fully cooked but not as crispy as I would like. The drumettes are on the large size. This impacts meat and texture quality. Without getting into the science of why they got that way, it basically = medium level meat quality and taste. The establishment was very clean and staff very friendly. okay price/value relationship. I would request another 45 seconds in the fryer next time.

We were greeted by a young woman who sort of walked us through the menu, before placing our order. Our interaction was brief, but just fine. It's an order at the counter and pick up at the counter, kind of spot, so we chose a table near the windows. We opted for an order of 10 wings (half dry rub and half medium buffalo) and the 2 small sandwich meal - with fries. It took about 10 minutes for our order to be ready before we dug in. The sandwiches featured crisp slaw + chicken tenders (which we ordered medium) on a fresh bun. While the flavor was decent (and not too hot) the bun fell apart upon first bite. bummer. The chicken was breaded nicely, juicy with good flavor and the fries were delicious. I'm a sucker for wings but was disappointed in the dryness of the chicken. They tasted pre-fried and like they were sitting before being drenched in sauce - which made them a little meh, for me. I wouldn't go out of my way to return here again, but it sufficed the needs for lunch.
