A former flower arranger in her long-ago past, she was really touched by this bouquet. The challenge is that both the groom and I are allergic to a variety of flowers, so we needed the floral arrangements to be limited to the list of "safe" flowers for both of us. Anita more than delivered. She was easy to reach by email and text, we spoke on the phone about what I had in mind, and sent her some inspo pictures and a list of safe and not safe flowers. Anita's arrangements were beautiful, fresh, and just the look I had in mind. And most importantly, everyone was able to enjoy the flowers without allergies. I would recommend Anita to anyone looking for a good florist in the Thousand Oaks area!

Chantal was so understanding of our situation and gave us so much incredible advice and assistance even though everything was so rushed. Despite the crazy situation, you truly never would have known on the day because everything was perfect, and the flowers were both beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Even the smallest details were handled expertly, such as having a second groom's boutonniere ready for the ceremony as we had chosen a fragile flower that wouldn't hold up through all the pre-ceremony pictures. Could not be happier with or more appreciative of their services and would recommend them without a moment's hesitation!

When my son went to pick it up on Friday, the same person I had paid claimed he couldn't find the order unless I gave him the last four digits of my credit card while I was at work and didn't have the card on me. When I called back with the number a few hours later, he told me he had found it and then abruptly hung up on me without any explanation or apology. To make matters worse, the corsage completely fell apart before the prom even started. The roses were falling off while we were taking pictures. This experience was unacceptable from start to finish: lost order, rude service, and a poorly made product. I regret doing business here and would strongly advise others to go elsewhere!

I didn't really have a clear vision on what I wanted, but at least a rough idea of specific colors. Maria was incredibly helpful with her recommendations, and guiding me through the various options available. She also did not try to push me in any particular direction and gave me the space I needed to make my choices. We exchanged a few emails after our initial meeting to hammer out some other details, and each time, Maria was very gracious in offering up her time and availability, despite it being a very busy season. The day of the wedding, I didn't even have to think about a thing as everything was completely set up while I was getting ready. The flowers all looked beautiful and really added another layer of elegance to our special day. Her years of experience show in how she handles her clients, her knowledge of all things flowers, and the wedding industry in general. I definitely recommend working with her, you will not be disappointed!

They were willing to give me a price over the phone and work within my price range without trying to upsell, and they were happy to deliver to my remote wedding location in the hills in Malibu on a Sunday. Dena was also willing to work with me just over the phone and by email because I didn't have time to visit the shop in person. I emailed her some photos of bouquets I liked, and she emailed me some options of fresh flowers that were available at the market. She went out of her way to find me brown orchids on a special request from the groom, and created an absolutely stunning bouquet that was exactly what I was hoping for. It was delivered on time with no problems even though my wedding location was very hard to find and several of our guests got lost looking for it. They provided a few extra boutonniers and orchids for the flower girl's hair at no extra cost, and made an adorable little basket with coordinating rose petals for her. Most importantly, Dena really listened to what I was asking for and took my preferences to heart. She emailed me a picture of a flower I didn't like and immediately changed course when I gave her my feedback. I was blown away by how gorgeous the bouquet was and it was such a fun surprise. I wholeheartedly recommend Dena and the Malibu Garden Florist!
