Anita did a fantastic job with our wedding flowers. For our small backyard wedding, I ordered a bridal bouquet, a boutonnière, and a centerpiece. The challenge is that both the groom and I are allergic to a variety of flowers, so we needed the floral arrangements to be limited to the list of "safe" flowers for both of us. Anita more than delivered. She was easy to reach by email and text, we spoke on the phone about what I had in mind, and sent her some inspo pictures and a list of safe and not safe flowers. Anita's arrangements were beautiful, fresh, and just the look I had in mind. And most importantly, everyone was able to enjoy the flowers without allergies. I would recommend Anita to anyone looking for a good florist in the Thousand Oaks area! read more

Very disappointed with the quality of the bouquet that was delivered. I ordered the highest price premium quality version yet what arrived was not even comparable to the standard quality version pictured on their website... Our family received a lovely arrangement from Greenwich. I am very particular about flowers, and this arrangement was gorgeous. I have received so many arrangements that I know were not cheap, and they arrive and are wilting, disheveled, sparse ,and nothing like the picture that someone purchased. This arrangement was actually fresh, very full, and just beautifully done with unique flowers in a solid glass vase. I was so impressed that I had to write a review. I would definitely use them the next time I need an arrangement! I am updating my review as I wanted to include the fact that the arrangement is lasting a week. Unfortunately I have to give a one star, I ordered flowers two times in the last couple weeks and was disappointed with both arrangements. I chose one of them based on the flowers and the container they were in (their website picture) but neither were available so I guess they just had to make do and then the second one I was told they could make it look like the picture on the website however it did not, the colors were not even close to the picture at all, we were very disappointed. In addition I had requested a picture both times and neither time could they provide one, I had to contact the person that received them to try and get a picture. I will have to find a new florist for the next delivery unfortunately. read more

Anniversary day comes, and I'm in the car driving to Santa Barbara and Janet returns my call. Come to find she didn't have the correct delivery date on the order. She said she was so sorry and would see if her delivery people could move the delivery to the correct day.. SHE DID!! We received a beautiful bouquet of red roses,in a beautiful vase, and she included a few more roses than I had ordered!! I didn't expect the additional flowers. I ordered two "simple green" arrangements from Janet for Thanksgiving. I have ordered-and loved these arrangements in the past. Unbeknownst to me, someone was filling in for get and created two nice floral arrangements, that were pretty, but not at all what I'd ordered. After seeing my review, Janet contacted me quite apologetic, and offered to replace the arrangements. We used Janet as our florist for our wedding and she did an amazing job! Our theme was rustic/vintage Italian; colors were burgundy, ivory, and navy. I sent her a bunch of inspiration photos, and did my best to explain what I was picturing - and she nailed it! There was a perfect mix of classic roses, along with the more rustic carnations and baby's-breath. I also did not want a bouquet that was too structured, I wanted something a little more "loose" as they call it, and it was perfect! Not to mention, the flowers actually lasted over a week after the wedding too! Ordered flowers online for pickup a few days later. Went to the store and the store was closed…read more Note on the door saying that they will be working out of their home and to call a number for pickup. Mind you on my order I stated I need a morning pickup for first thing in the morning when the store open. The business did not state on the online order of the different pickup location nor did they contact me. I called the number went straight to voicemail. Left a few voicemails and they never called me back. Owner contacted me a week few days later and said she was out of town. I requested she issue a refund and she said she would. I appreciated it at the time. Since then, i have not received a refund. Contacted owner twice after that and she again said she will issue a refund. It's been over a month since my initial order and still yet to receive a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!

I called Dena after finding the Malibu Garden Florist on Yelp and reading some good reviews. I was…read morelooking for someone to make me a wedding bouquet and some boutonnieres on a very limited budget. They were willing to give me a price over the phone and work within my price range without trying to upsell, and they were happy to deliver to my remote wedding location in the hills in Malibu on a Sunday. Dena was also willing to work with me just over the phone and by email because I didn't have time to visit the shop in person. I emailed her some photos of bouquets I liked, and she emailed me some options of fresh flowers that were available at the market. She went out of her way to find me brown orchids on a special request from the groom, and created an absolutely stunning bouquet that was exactly what I was hoping for. It was delivered on time with no problems even though my wedding location was very hard to find and several of our guests got lost looking for it. They provided a few extra boutonniers and orchids for the flower girl's hair at no extra cost, and made an adorable little basket with coordinating rose petals for her. Most importantly, Dena really listened to what I was asking for and took my preferences to heart. She emailed me a picture of a flower I didn't like and immediately changed course when I gave her my feedback. I was blown away by how gorgeous the bouquet was and it was such a fun surprise. I wholeheartedly recommend Dena and the Malibu Garden Florist!
