Riley also told me I could "double dip" and head over to Sunshine and Bluebirds (right next door). That's where I found more of the Teleties hair clips. These are so great because they lay flat, which omits the uncomfortable feeling of driving with a clip on the back of your head. Brittany who was working at the store, was beyond friendly and easy to talk to. The customer service alone makes me want to go back to both Research and Design & Sunshine and Bluebirds. I personally love that there is a website so I can shop online and pickup in store. Since the boutique is small there are limited quantities of new merchandise. The next morning, less than 24 hours after the initial purchase, I attempt to return the dress and the owner said, "I can't believe you would ask to return this." I was a new customer and was not told the store policy at the time of purchase. Essentially, I was punished for shopping there. I faced a hardship because I did not look and read every single thing on her cluttered counter. I could understand refusing the return had the dress been worn, or if the return date was lengthy, but she refused to return my money because there was nothing else in the store worth purchasing. The most challenging part was the owner's deplorable attitude. She only cared about how the purchase impacted her, not me. Had she returned this item, I would have been likely to patronize her business in the future, now, all I will do is avoid it and warn others to be 100% certain of their purchase.

My mom is not a girly woman at all, and she rarely wears dresses or anything like this, but Monroe quickly figured out my mom's preferences and showed her dresses that really flattered her figure.
