Ask the Community - Pines Federal Employment Attorneys

Pineas Federal wouldn't happen to handle VA disability claims relating to PTSD/TBI's caused by MST, would they? Trying to find honest reviews of whom would be my best choice, and Really liking what I'm reading everyone say about this team. Thanks.

Attorney Eric still declined to represent me on my case, but explained it's outside of his normal area of practice.

Highly Recommend Mr Dewberry for SSDI…read more I recently hired Donald Dewberry to take over my SSDI case, and so far my experience has been extremely positive. From the beginning, his staff has been professional, responsive, and clearly organized. Everyone I have spoken with has been on point and helpful, which already makes a huge difference when you are dealing with something as stressful and drawn out as a disability case. I cannot speak to a negative review from years ago, but my current experience has been the complete opposite. People I have talked to in the legal and disability field consistently describe Mr. Dewberry as very thorough and someone who truly knows his stuff. That has absolutely been the impression I have gotten as well. Even when speaking with him on the phone, he comes across as having a great personality and even a sense of humor, the kind of person who immediately makes you feel comfortable during a process that can otherwise feel overwhelming. My case has been ongoing for a while, and like many people going through SSDI, the process can be exhausting, especially as a special needs mom caring for a severely disabled child on top of everything else. Since bringing him on, I finally feel like I have the right team lined up and that I am getting a fair shot. That peace of mind is priceless. As a fellow military veteran, I also really appreciate that he served. That background matters. He understands how complicated and inconsistent the VA system can be, and that gives me an extra level of comfort knowing he truly understands the challenges veterans face. If you are looking for an attorney who is knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, and backed by a capable team, I definitely recommend Donald Dewberry. I feel positive that everything will pan out for my daughter and me.

Tony was so friendly and so personable. During my interview, I was so nervous and Tony made sure to keep me calm and continued to reassure me throughout the interview that everything was going to be alright --- which it was! I ended up passing my interview and am now awaiting to receive my oath appointment in the mail. Tuyen, who is his assistant was amazing with me too. From day one, she was by my side as well. Always communicated with me whether via email and/or by phone. She also worked with my work scheduled which really helped! Bottom line, I highly recommend The Dinh Law Firm. From my experience, I can honestly say that I didn't feel like I was just another client, it almost felt like family/friend relationship. Their attention to detail is exceptional. Their customer service is exceptional. Their communication is exceptional, and most importantly, their knowledge in immigration law is exceptional, so look no further and contact The Dinh Law firm with any immigration questions and/or concerns you might have. You won't be disappointed --- I promise! Tony, once again, thank you a million times for being my biggest cheerleader throughout the whole process! I will never forget! I first contacted Mr. Robinson's office in late Feb 2020. My first conversation was with his…read moreoffice manager, Miosha. Not only did she seem detailed in the information she was sharing, she listened. When you are in the midst of a "situation", it goes a long way when you feel are being heard. She spoke with a calm and understanding that made me feel comfortable. She was honest and even stopped to relate to me and the issue I faced. Most of all, she was responsive - but not at all pushy (I called back several times before signing up for a consultation with Mr. Robinson). Regarding Mr. Robinson, he was up front during my consultation. He was not brash at all. He did not come across as the stereotypical lawyer (in a hurry and uninterested). There was a human element. He even had a sense of humor that I would continue to see in the time we worked together. He communicated matter of factly about my situation. Similar to Miosha, he understood the problem I was facing and did not move to minimize. I suppose it was a sense of validation, which goes a long way. He let me know where I stood, my options, and even gave me steps to take if I decided not to move forward with legal action. He even went so far as to advise how I should proactively protect myself in the future with other employers. He did not promise me anything, but he did give me peace of mind in letting me know that my troubles were not unique to me. I walked away knowing there was a viable path forward and that he was there to take the lead finding a beneficial resolution. Ultimately, I moved forward with retaining his services and I was immediately contacted by his team to provide as much information as I could about the history of my problem. We discussed those details, and he shared how we were going to approach it with the other party. Without being longwinded, he kept me informed at every step of the way. When he communicated with opposing counsel, I was made aware. I was given the opportunity to ask questions (and I asked several!). He gave me the power to dictate how we moved forward, but was also vocal on his suggestions and consequences of each step. Admittedly, I did not always readily agree with his proposed next step. In these situations, he was quick to compromise and also give a preview of the next 3 steps if we took a certain approach (be it his or mine). This allowed me to build more trust in his recommendations. Quite simply, I was a part of the process and it empowered me. Often in these situations, you feel like a victim - helpless. So, to be given a voice in the battle and know you have a someone to go take charge of the fight is a major stress reliever. While it's important to understand that each case is different, the process for us to reach a resolution took 6 mos. Based on the reason for my case, I can say I definitely won. Had I not reached out Mr. Robinson, I know I would be stuck, unhappy, and feeling powerless about a problem willfully created by others. If you are unsure of what to do or where to turn for help, I strongly advise you to at least secure a consultation with Mr. Robinson. Ironically, I suggested his services to someone else facing a dilemma similar to mine. He was honest with this person about the situation. He communicated that there was not much that could be done given the details of their complaint. For a lawyer to not take your money just for the sake of taking it knowing full well there is nothing that can be done says a lot! So, call Terrance!
