I lived at these apartments for almost four years. Here are the pros and cons of these apartments:
Pros:
-The property management will do any repairs that they are legally required to do within a timely manner without charging the tenant
-The premises are generally well-maintained. The garbage is picked up, the lawn is mowed, etc.
-They are sometimes willing to work with you when it comes to re-signing your lease (for example, they might offer to keep you at the same rental rate for an extra six months, or clean your carpets).
-It's located in a decent area of Boise. Near to the mall.
Cons:
-Property management will make you pay out of pocket for anything they aren't legally required to maintain. For example, if you accidentally damage your blinds, they will NOT take it out of your deposit. Instead, you have to pay out-of-pocket and install them yourself.
-The premises don't really have any extra amenities. For example, there are other apartments with pools, hot tubs, workout rooms, etc. The Pines has a small metal playground, but that's it.
-The apartments don't have a lot of natural lighting. There's no built-in lighting in the living room and you don't get a lot of natural lighting.
-They are a bit outdated. Now, management has been updating some of the appliances throughout the years, and they are really good about fixing any damages with appliances.
Overall, they do what they're supposed to as managers. They follow all of the legal guidelines and maintain the property well. They work with you on late payments but do charge a late fee read more
