We lived at RedTail for about a year and it was an amazing experience. We were asked to move out of our rental home and only given 2 weeks notice. We found RedTail within days and were able to move in within a week with our two kiddos and dog. RedTail made an extremely tumulus time in our lives a lot easier. The maintenance men are incredible, kind, and courteous, the office staff are super nice and understanding, and completely fair with giving back a reasonable amount of our deposit. The pool and communal areas are gorgeous and well maintained, the rental units themselves spacious and up to date... I truly have nothing negative to say. We were pretty skeptical and hesitant to move back into an apartment after being in a house for years, but hindsight, there are no regrets and we're happy to have found them! The only thing to be cautious of, is if you have young school age children, the community does have a little gaggle of bullies with a ringleader, that made my oldest not want to play outside for the last 7 months we were there, but that's the parents responsibility, not the complexes. read more

I have lived here for 10 years our manager Matt and staff have really stepped up and are making a huge positive, friendly difference in our community. Very trusting, caring and present. Thank you so much for all your doing for us here at Redtail best place to live!!! Thank you so much! read more

It is a nightmare to live here. The manager is completely useless. I don't know what his job is but it is not to make sure the common areas (the gym, the bathrooms, the walk ways and the trash pick up locations, just to name a few,) are kept clean and proper. When a nuisance surface and you bring it to the manager's attention....you will get the run around or will be told to handle it yourself. The man is not doing his job or just fails to know how to do it properly. Don't waste your money here. It is not worth it! read more

I have lived at Redtail Luxury Apartments for over 5 years now. My wife and I are seniors and were attracted to Redtail through it nice amenities and layout of the apartments which we still think are the best in all the meridian apartments within our price range. I have been pleased at seeing management and security improvements at our apartments. We slipped off the path in the past year but I really think the staff is working hard to regaining that cohesiveness and pride we once had in Redtail Luxury Apartments. The older tenants are very appreciative of this new effort. Thank you I would like to give a very special thank you for Cortnie Shu for her effort and hard work at her assistant management job. She is very professional and a doer getting things done at our apartments. So if your interested in Redtail apartments, Cortnie is a great person to help you. She is great!! read more

DO NOT RENT HERE! If I could give this place ZERO stars I would! When we first moved in three years ago it was a beautifully ran property! The previous management genuinely cared and invested in the property and tenants. In a little over a year this place has drastically gone downhill. They are consistently renting to tenants that break the rules on a regular basis with no repercussions while the rest of the tenants suffer. The management turns a blind eye and allows these tenants to drink/vape in the pool area, partying past closing time of common areas, fighting in the common areas, breaking gym equipment along with many other issues. The new management has forced a lot of wonderful upstanding people to leave and rent or buy elsewhere because they are making the community unsafe. read more

Definitely not the cheapest apartments, but if you can afford it, it's definitely worth the price! I wanted to wait a full year before writing this review (so I knew it wasn't just a front for a good review). The manager is changing now but I have high expectations that my experience will continue. I've rented several places in my life and this has been the cleanest and most move-in ready I've ever had. The management is SO kind and helpful but I will say they're not good at answering their phone (although they do respond address what you leave a message about). The "dog park" is just an astroturf run so I recommend using the dog park across the freeway instead but the grounds are generally well kept and maintenance is quick to fix requests and really good about fixing it the first time. Overall, if you can afford it, it's worth the price. read more

While we only lived here for 10 months it was a great apartment - especially if you have a crapload of kitchen stuff. The leasing process was easy and surprisingly so was move out. We picked red tail because they had the 2 story options instead of 3, had garages available and had the best layout of all the apartments we looked at. They also didn't force entertainment packages like many others do. They do have trash valet which at first I thought was unnecessary but soon loved that feature especially for $10 a month. We very seldom had issues with parking and enjoyed using the pool and bbqs throughout the summer. For the most part we had quiet neighbors which made our stay even better. Our apartment was facing the parking lot and it was pretty quiet overall. There is a dog park and great walking paths right behind the complex. While it isn't the cheapest option around it was totally worth it for us. read more

Warning: if you choose an apt facing victory greens your house will always be dusty and dirty. It's also super loud, you can't relax on your patio or sleep with your patio open (if you do, you'll wake up feeling awful from breathing in the dust all night)The walls are thin, they keep up the place well but I wish they'd clean our railing and our windows! For what we pay there shouldn't be a concern about my windows being dirty. Staff is nice, the handy men are great, all in all I just wish I knew about how dusty it was when I choose this apt, I thought it was a quote calm street and I was completely wrong. read more

Do not believe the hype. The management team (Josh, Michaela, and Cortney) are rude, ageist, and ineffective. These "luxury apartments" are basically "section 8" housing. There is no insulation between units - so you hear noise from your upstairs and downstairs neighbors - if you have a noise complaint, management says to call the police. They have moved in so many Colombians that residents can no longer use the pool - do to their loud music, drinking, smoking, and fights breaking out. This happened several times this summer--after pool was closed; usually between 10pm and 3:30 am. Those tenants are still here and no action has been taken. They don't administer the lease policies on smoking, drinking, quiet hours, parking, pet feces, or patio's being used for storage. If you bring up any concern or issue - their response is to tell you to move. And if you break the lease it's costs you 3 months rent - even though you're leaving because they aren't doing their job and upholding the lease. Unless you want to pay luxury prices to live in the ghetto; I wouldn't rent here! read more

Could be a great place to live based on the amenities, location, and maintenance. Managment Lindy very negative and horrible with people. Just because of her I WOULDN'T recommend anyone for living there. There were really only two people in the office. The other one was always nice and the reasonable one. read more

Our experience was great and the leading company was the best I've worked with. Highly recommend.

I chose this apartment virtually before I relocated from Las Vegas. When I arrived, I was even more surprised how beautiful was the apartment. The two bedroom is spacious and the detail is awesome. The staff was very helpful while I was so stressed from moving and with a 13 year old (smile). The location is great because you are 1 mile from the interstate and close to the water park. Love it! read more

Allie in the Leasing office was super helpful and actually was willing to help whenever we had questions! Many apartments in the area treat you like a number and like they could care less if you rent at their property! Redtail management makes you feel welcome and like they want you there! The application process was as easy as it gets! We are very happy with our new place! Oh and don't forget the pool! Best pool in the Valley!! read more

This is by far the best I have ever been treated by an apartment complex. They delivered on everything without lying to me how refreshing! Soraya and her boss did everything professionally and then some. I am so happy and feel so confident in this management team and maintenance crew I strongly recommend you check this out!! read more

Love this place! Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. It's easily the most beautiful apartment community in the Treasure Valley and the staff does an amazing job keeping it up. Always very friendly and helpful. read more

Where do I even begin with the review? This complex used to be wonderful. I am sad to say that I no longer feel this way. The staff only cares about jacking up tenants costs and getting people moved out if they have concerns. A recent quote in an email from the Assistant Manager said "We are looking for two bedrooms, they are in high demand if you are interested in moving." When she was emailed about concerns regarding the lack of maintenance being done to the facility and lack of consideration for people's vehicles, that was her only response. It is clear that they have a lack on tenants due to the increase and inconsistency of their pricing. Not only do they want you to move out, they also want to DNA test your animals due to some tenants not picking up after their pets. While I do feel you need to pick up after your animal, I believe it is highly intrusive to want to go to the extent to DNA test an animal and its excrement in order to fine you if you haven't picked it up. If they can perform tests on feces around the complex, they are more than capable of picking it up as well. What are the staff getting paid for anyway? This is particularly bothersome to me because the neighborhood next door has access to the complex and the amenities in the complex, so it could be easily be people from the neighborhood. My last disappointment is the cheap apartment itself. "Luxury" apartments should be insulated enough where you cannot hear another tenant turning on their water or having a conversation. I consistently heard the neighbors in the surrounding apartments. The cabinets are cheap and so is the carpet inside. Just because you throw some granite countertops in, doesn't make it "luxury" by any means. I would not recommend this complex to anyone moving into the area. Your concerns will not be listened to, you will instead be urged to move out. read more
