I had a nice chat with a vet tech while she asked questions, and 5 mins later we were with the Dr! He sat on the floor with my nervous pup, got to know us and then took her back for assessment. He avoided intrusive procedures, rather offering less expensive alternatives and gave an over all heath assessment. They checked me out and the cost was very reasonable. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

They have terrible front desk people. They have no manners, no capability to joyfully greet you upon arrival, no smiles, no customer service skills. In the individual rooms, they tape air filters onto other air filters onto the AC units. What??? We had one of our dogs neutered there. The stitch job on him was horrible.
