This place is something! We were blueberry picking at their far more rugged, middle of the woods location called the tree farm and they suggested we stop here if we'd never been. Being a gardener I couldn't resist being it was 4 miles away. Needless to say, I was impressed. They had a wonderful selection of plants, flowering and none, as well as tropical. Plenty to make your garden colorful like the classics: azaleas, hydrangeas, roses etc. and the fragrant with two types of jasmine as well as gardenia. They've got grasses, pots, stones, stepping stones, gifts, fountains, potting soil and even carnivorous plants! Huge ones. I didn't even get into the greenhouse to meander because I found what I was after on my initial stop. The staff were helpful. And we went to the cafe onsite too after collecting our plants. We had iced lattes in the small little cafe and it was cozy and so relaxing in the heat to sip our lattes. They also offer gelato. Perfect if you have kiddos on your shopping adventure. I enjoyed this place quite a lot and expect I'll be back as I grow my garden. read more

We moved to the area 2 October's ago, and have been to pinelands numerous times . First project was our DIY fire pit ! Second was redoing the fire pit after we saw some rookie mistakes were made lol Multiple times we've come for rocks to paint Current project has been GRASS ..... it's been months of coming every 2 weeks for more dirt to lay over grass seed . Watering daily and watching it all grow in nicely ! Staff is very nice and I love that there's a coffee shop and food truck now ! read more

Everything I have bought from them has died or not produced. Just because they didn't plant them they would not replace the plants.

What a wonderful Full-Service Nursery and Stone & Landscape Shoppe & Store. Their Gift Shop was a Homeowners dream. Full of Garderning needs, plants, tools, and stone ornaments. The services provided in the selection of new outdoor flower plants were exceptional. Their prices were the best in the area. We bought five Bottle Brush Plants, and other plants to place in our home garden, this Spring. What a wonderful selection of both annuals and perennials and many seasonal plants. A great selection of Trees, and Hedges, not to mention the soil and plant food to grow and nourish your garden and our home. Thank you for being there for all of us. Warranty policy is terrible. We purchased 12- 45 gallon Red Maple trees and had Pinelands install them. 11 of the trees have survived and thrived for the last four months. Unfortunately, one did not. After contacting Pinelands, we were told there was no warranty because we don't have an automatic watering system. We acknowledged this via signature when we made the purchase. All of the trees are watered manually regularly and again, 11 are thriving. Pinewoods basically told us "tough luck for you." This is very disappointing and Pinelands has lost my business permanently. read more

Today went to pick up a several yards of top soil. When I get to the entrance there is a male employee in the pit area with a 18 wheeler turning around. The employee directs me to the parking space with his hands pointing toward that way very furiously. I pull Ed into the parking lot wanted until.the 18 wheeler left threw the entrance lane. I then proceeded to pull into the pit area LIKE I HAVE DONE EVERY TIME I COME TO PURCHASE ITEMS.FROM THENPIT AEEA. The employee on the loader starts furiously pointing at the parking lot and yelling. He gets out of the loader slams the down and starts telling me to move and park in the parking lot. Then go pay and then come get your stuff. NO ONE IS GOING TO TREAT ME LIKE AM A CHILD BY YELLING. YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING.FROM YOUR BUSINESS. WHAT HAPPEN TO CUSTOMER SERVICE YOUR EMPLOYEES SUCK !!!!!!. read more

If you are in the area, you should stop by and check out this nursery. It is a hidden gem nestled out towards East Milton on Highway 90. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and they are quick to respond via phone or even Facebook messenger! They share updates on their Facebook page of what items have been delivered and are in stock. They have all kinds of landscaping plants, house plants and even succulents that I've been on the hunt for. I would prefer to shop local where I can so I called to ask. I've been coming here for three yrs for fruit trees, stones, and other plants and have always been greeted by staff and if I needed help they would show me where the item was I was looking for. Today I went and the two men out front were too busy talking to each other to even say hi so I walked up a ways and a gal was walking toward me I asked about some of the trees I was looking for and she proceeded to point in the direction where they might be at the end she then walked away. I went in the direction she pointed and couldn't find anything I was looking for. As I walked back up to leave now all three staff members were talking to each other. Was wondering if it was under different management? Looks like I'll have to find another place to get my trees and stones. read more

I used Pinelands to landscape my backyard. I will start off by saying that the staff is very friendly and they have a nice nursery with a great selection. The process of setting up a time to have someone view my backyard for an estimate was where things got a bit rough. After calling to try and schedule something it took a few days for anyone to get back to me. Once my call was returned I was told I would receive a call back to confirm a time. I didn't hear back from anyone confirming a time until a few days later when I received a call at 8:30 in the morning telling me someone was on their way. This was a bit frustrating considering I needed to be at work. A call in advance would have been appreciated. I was told that the project would be started in about 2-3 weeks and it turned out to be more like 5-6 weeks. The actual install of the landscaping went pretty smoothly and it turned out nicely. I was a bit disappointed when I was told that the plants I wanted most were left out of the project because they did not make the area large enough for them to fit. There was plenty of room to work with, they ran out of room because they did not account for the plants correctly. They also left out an area completely that we discussed to be installed, until I pointed it out. In addition they delivered pine straw instead of the mulch that we specifically ordered. This too was corrected but all the little things started to add up. When the landscapers left my house with the project being mostly complete there was again no communication. My yard had areas where they grass needed to be replaced, there were a few plants that were not planted and I did not receive an invoice. I really had no idea if they were leaving it as is or if they had intentions of returning. I gave it a few days before calling in hopes that someone would call and follow up with me to let me know what was going on (again expecting what in my mind is standard customer service). After not hearing from anyone I finally gave in and followed up to see where we were with the project being completed. Since completion we have had a few issues with plants dying. I think this is pretty normal and I'm not complaining about that. Pinelands does have a year warranty on their plants. The issue is trying to get someone to return your call and come look at/ replace your plants. The first time I called I had to call three times before anyone would call me back. The second time I called twice and finally gave up, replacing the plants myself. My advice to you, if you want to work with friendly people who do a nice job, you will find it at Pinelands. With that, be prepared to not know when things are happening (estimate, installation, completion), and have to work to get any answers. I am a pretty laid back person and rarely write reviews. My patients was so tested with this project that I wanted to share my experience. When paying someone to do a job for you, I feel like there is a certain level of customer service that is expected to come along with it. Knowing what I know now, I would have gone with another nursery to landscape my backyard. read more

Nancy H. I used Pinelands to take out old sod and put in new sod, front and back yard. Also to install sprinklers in the back yard. April 2015. They did an awful job. Sod we got was dead for the most part. Young people installing the grass clearly did not know what they were doing, although they were all very nice. Our yard looked worse than before they started. We called, they were very nice, she said we would get our dead sod replaced the next week. Not so, it turned into the end of June with many calls, all answered nicely.....but no results. They had to come back to fix the back yard sprinklers they installed as they were not reaching all the "new sod". We had the Manager come out here twice. He was very nice, promised to fix it all.....that never transpired. We paid a little over four thousand dollars for this mess. I wish we had not been so eager to pay the bill. We believed the people there, the ones in charge. I am so very disappointed with these people. The other projects I wanted them to do in the fall, forget it. I would never recommend this nursery to anyone. read more
