Emerald Coast Decks was a godsend for getting our backyard prepared for summer this year. I wanted…read moreto host cookouts with the family this year but our backyard was a mess. So I contacted the guys at Emerald Coast Decks to install a new deck and to re-design my landscape. I didn't really know what I wanted my yard too look like but they were very helpful in planning the design. The work went by so quickly I was impressed and they stuck to the estimate so I didn't have to pay any more than what they originally stated. My deck looks great and so does my new yard. They installed a new sprinkler system and lush green sod, and beautiful flowers that my wife loves. I won't hesitate to recommend Emerald Coast Decks to anyone looking to transform their backyard. When the guys were working on my yard we were talking and they told me that they also do pavers and custom garages. My home is pretty old and does not have a garage so I am debating on having them build a new garage for me as well. I will update my review after the garage is completed to give praise if I like how that goes.

Dillon and I had connected several years ago regarding a massive landscaping project for my home,…read morewhich was to occur after some construction work. After a few years, we connected again, after I also obtained several other quotes. Dillon by far, was the most visionary and patient person to work with. This project took several weeks to complete, which was expected. Basically, it was a complete tear out and rebuild of my yard, patio, decking, front porch and walk, with plenty of pavers, plants and sod. Dillon and his team were outstanding in every way. In all of my years, and houses, I have never worked with a contractor that was as easy as Dillon and his team. I actually consider them my project team. We worked together as a team to make my dream come true. My home looks better than expected. Their diligence and eye for detail is second to none. Pricing was quite reasonable. Not to mention, they are a full service organization. I did not have to sub out to others for tear out, irrigation, low voltage electric, hard and soft scape, gas fire pit, flagpole, and more! They were able to do it all and beautifully. My only wish is that Dillon and his crew could perform the weekly maintenance and house projects! I am proud of my home and my partnership with Dillon and his crew! Thank you!!!

I hired A Cut Above in April 2026 for their Premium Lawn Care Plan at $481/month to maintain my…read morelate parents' home in Pensacola while it was on the market. The plan includes per-visit weed control, bed maintenance, string trimming, and edging. By August, neighbors sent me photos: grass growing up through the fence pickets, no edging along the walks, and beds full of mature, seeded-out weeds. All of that is work the plan covers on every visit. This wasn't a missed week. It was weeks of mow-and-go while I was billed for full service. What happened when I raised it is the real reason for this review: - Aug 11: Emailed photos. Got an apology within minutes and a promise of a site visit that Thursday. No one came. - Aug 14: Emailed to ask if the visit happened. No response. - Called and left a voicemail. Someone called back and promised it would be handled by Monday. Monday came and went. - It took a fourth contact before a crew finally came out and did the work properly, two weeks after my first complaint. No credit, no discount, no acknowledgment for months of substandard service. When I cancelled at closing, I was charged another ~$120 to close out the account. When a crew finally came out, they did what the plan required, and everyone I spoke with was polite. But polite promises that don't happen aren't service. If you can't be on-site to check the work yourself, I'd think twice.
