TL/DR: No obligatory trip charge, fast, friendly, and quality work at a VERY reasonable rate…read more HIGHLY recommended! I'm not used to having a sprinkler system, so when I had a problem, I wasn't sure how to fix it. I could've spent my time researching repairs, and trying to fix it myself and probably failing... but instead I decided to call a professional. And professionals I got! Father/son team Dale and Dylan were great about communicating with me (especially since Hurricane Michael hit on the day they were supposed to come out!), and showed up on time to do the work. They immediately found the problem (a busted sprinkler head) and suggested we cap it off, since it was no longer needed in that position anyway. The previous owners had installed landscaping and a shed long after the sprinklers and had never adjusted the system, so Dale offered to do a complete survey of the system to identify any other issues. This is not like taking your car to a mechanic where (unless you're a mechanic) you don't know how truthful they're being. Everything Dale and Dylan explained was clear and made total sense - and will save a great deal of money and water in the future from "wasted spraying." In the end, they replaced five or six nozzles, two heads, capped another, and adjusted the spray volume on the rest. For all the work they did, they charged a very reasonable rate, and did the work quick and cleanly - without even messing up any of the landscaping! I'd recommend these fellas hands-down anytime you need great work done.

Pros: timeliness, got the job done quickly, gave professional opinions…read more Cons: value, talked into a more expensive modernized system still not sure we needed, trenches left across yard requiring leveling with another landscaping company, two breaks in system in last few months that were apparently our fault. Trying a new company.

Dillon and I had connected several years ago regarding a massive landscaping project for my home,…read morewhich was to occur after some construction work. After a few years, we connected again, after I also obtained several other quotes. Dillon by far, was the most visionary and patient person to work with. This project took several weeks to complete, which was expected. Basically, it was a complete tear out and rebuild of my yard, patio, decking, front porch and walk, with plenty of pavers, plants and sod. Dillon and his team were outstanding in every way. In all of my years, and houses, I have never worked with a contractor that was as easy as Dillon and his team. I actually consider them my project team. We worked together as a team to make my dream come true. My home looks better than expected. Their diligence and eye for detail is second to none. Pricing was quite reasonable. Not to mention, they are a full service organization. I did not have to sub out to others for tear out, irrigation, low voltage electric, hard and soft scape, gas fire pit, flagpole, and more! They were able to do it all and beautifully. My only wish is that Dillon and his crew could perform the weekly maintenance and house projects! I am proud of my home and my partnership with Dillon and his crew! Thank you!!!

I hired James with A Cut Above Landscaping to address a serious water intrusion issue at one of my…read morerental properties. He recommended installing a basin drain system as the solution, but unfortunately the work was completely ineffective. The crew dug up the parking lot and front of the house to install the drainage system, but left a huge mess behind. There were trenches and uneven areas throughout my parking lot and even extending onto my neighbor's property. The entire job felt rushed, like the priority was finishing as quickly as possible rather than making sure it was done correctly. The drainage system itself was poorly designed. The drains were not installed up against the house where the flooding and water intrusion was actually occurring, and the front of the property was not properly graded to direct water toward the drain. As a result, the system did little to solve the original issue. When I reached back out and asked James to come back and help correct the problems, his response was that they were "already barely making any money on the job." That response made it seem like the focus was more on profit than standing behind the work or making things right for the customer. Overall, I was very disappointed with both the workmanship and the customer service, and I would not recommend using this company for drainage or water intrusion issues.

TF Irrigation aka Tyrone Franklin Irrigation aka Franklin Tyrone Irrigation…read more Recently used this company to install an irrigation system on my new home in Milton, FL. I gave then 1 star on because they used decent equipment - Rain Bird. Other than that the workmanship was horrible. They should do what they contract to do and what they said they would. They don't respond to follow-up calls. Work is shoddy at best. 1: Leaks in connections on main line and manifold at zone valves - won't respond to calls to repair. 2: Pipes, in places 2" to 4" below surface. - won't respond to calls. No reason for this since he had a trencher that went down 12". He kept saying pipes would be at 8 " to 10" - not the case. Have pictures to show depth of pipes. 3: Trenches left a mess - did not rake out leaving hills and valleys. He got paid and disappeared. 4: Was supposed to come back after sod went in to reset sprinklers - no show and did not respond to calls. 5: Tried to convince me I did not need a rain sensor (although it is FL law. When he finally put one it -- he wired it to the main valves and not the Rain Bird controller box - thus negating the sensor override feature. Kept trying to tell me that the controller box was WiFi and that the controller box would get rain info from the weather. Simple google search of the Rain Bird controller shows this is not the case. Had to remove and rewire the rain sensor. 6: He cut the wires to control box short. Had to do a splice outside. His idea of a water tight connection was a simple wire nut filled with PVC cement and some electrical tape. Results - shorts had to redo the splice using silicone filled water proof wire nuts and silicone tape. 7: Wires in garage and outside just left hanging - did not have proper means to attach to the walls. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND or USE AGAIN - 1 STAR FOR THE EQUIPMENT USED ONLY.
