These folks are not for the patient. I originally had Dr RICHMAN as my provider. Wonderful, wonderful doctor... Listen to the patient, was prompt with his responses via email, just did all he could. Unfortunately, he retired. Now they have a practice of physician assistants. Grant BISCHOF-- supposedly the resident MS specialist - - has no bedside manner, is not well educated on current MS treatments, and had rather push you off to another practice/specialist, than meet your needs. At this particular medical practice, in order to get another provider, your current provider has to approve that. When I nicely asked Grant - - via email - - for another provider, he began directing all of my communication to the office manager, and has not spoken directly to me since. Do not leave messages on anyone's voicemail if it is something urgent you need. I have left various messages to the office manager - - Cassidy - - with no return call. Please ignore the Google ratings for this practice. Doctors SNYDER, SINCLAIR, SOLOMAN and RICHMAN are the reasons for the initial high ratings... But these individuals are either not there anymore or not taking new patients. I would not suggest this practice for my worst enemy. read more

Communication is terrible. The nursing staff and front office are very non-professional. My neurologist treated me while in the hospital. During an annual scan, I was told I have had a recent stroke. Another neurologist said the "new" stroke was visible on my scans from three years earlier. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Snyder for about eight months. He listens, he advises, and his bedside manner is impeccable. He ordered a series of tests to be performed at Chapel Hill. I completed the testing yesterday, and the results were on MyChart by 7 pm last night. This morning, I left a message for someone to call me to explain my outcomes. Within ten minutes, Dr. Snyder called me. He was not rushed and was attentive to my concerns. A new treatment plan was implemented, and I will contact him in two weeks to evaluate its effectiveness. I want to start off by saying Dr. R. Snyder is a wonderful provider and has spent adequate time with me at each of my appts with him. He asks questions about your past medical history, does a thorough physical exam and explains his findings in terms I understand. The front office, scheduling, and nursing staff are what made me give the office a 2 star. I would give it a zero if that was an option. If you do actually get through to someone they are not helpful. Appointments for acute issues are months out. No one calls you back when leaving a voicemail, the billing department tried to overcharge me and sent me a bill even though I already met my catastrophic cap for the year. Overall, find somewhere else to go or pray Dr. Snyder goes to a different practice. read more

Worst customer care ever. Normally Moore Regional hospitals at least return your calls--not so with Pinehurst Neurology. I've left six VMs now for a medication refill and no one has responded. When you arrive at the clinic, there is a large taped line that you're not allowed to cross over until the administrative allows you to proceed. Reminds me of PoW training. I was referred to them by my PCP over a month ago. 6/24/24. On 6/27 I called them to try to expedite making the appointment and was told that I have to wait for the new patient coordinator to call me back 10-12 days. I call again on July 26 and left a message with the new pt coordinator and as of today 7/31 no response. I'm thinking they are either too busy to take new patients, which is fine but they need to relay that message. OR just poor management. read more

This is not a review of the medical staff at Pinehurst Neurology. They have always been knowledgeable and attentive. I called to reschedule an appt this morning. The young woman who answered said her name...twice...I couldn't get it. Rather than asking a third time, I let it go. Never once during this call did she say please or thank you. She was borderline rude. I let it go. Maybe it was a bad day. When I thanked her for her assistance....she just hung up! No..you're welcome, goodbye. Really?! It was just a routine call. Nothing extraordinary. There was no reason to be curt and dismissive. Left a really bad impression of the office administration. read more

If I could give a zero star I would. This is a SCARY place to be seen. It's honestly going to take me a week to recover, self esteem-wise, from my appointment. I waited months for this appointment after being referred from the VA. I have a long history of clearly diagnosed neurological conditions supported by multiple MIR's and tests and I thought this was actually a step forward towards more comprehensive treatment. I was seen by a nurse practitioner who was extremely confrontational and spoke to me like a child, even after I explained that I have medical degrees and that she could just use normal terms. She wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. She would ask me a question and then interrupt me, trying to poke holes in what I was saying. She INSISTED that I have fibromyalgia, (WHICH ISN'T EVEN A NEUROLOGICAL CONDITION), and she refused to listen to my symptoms. She insisted my symptoms were from fibromyalgia due to ptsd and depression just based on assumption because I was referred from the VA. She never even asked if I have ptsd or depression. I told her I was worried about multiple sclerosis because of my brain mri and she said "that mri doesn't impress me" IT IS NOT IN A NURSE PRACTITIONERS SCOPE OF PRACTICE TO READ NEUROLOGICAL BRAIN MRIs. She didn't even have the images, just the report which clearly states "patient should be evaluated further for demyelinating disease". She told me that people "age out of multiple sclerosis" and that people "age out of migraines" ((WHAT???)). She tried to use a lumbar puncture to diagnose multiple sclerosis as a threat, and she got mad when I said "yeah that's how it is diagnosed". I asked if we were enemies and why she was speaking to me this way. I told her that I just wanted to leave and she stood in front of the door and said "no it's fine, don't leave" and went right back to being confrontational. Her neuro exam was a joke and she acted like she didn't believe my answers. I also told her that I have moderate cervical stenosis encroaching my spinal cord which is seen on multiple MRI's and she immediately exploded into a diatribe about how surgery would just make things worse and that, again, I just have fibromyalgia and need antidepressants. One of the most unsatisfactory medical experiences ever. The technician conducting the nerve conduction study did not communicate anything about the procedure before or after. When that test and the EMG was conducted, I was informed that the PA would discuss the results. Then I was advised he would call....which did't happen. After a few days I visited the office to try to get the results. A staff person rudely stated that the results would take a week to 10 days. I explained that it would have been nice to have been advised of that after the misleading initial guidance. read more

Jennifer's ugliness didn't even stop after I told her my husband was active duty deceased. She acted as if she took joy in causing people to cry. My sister has tried MULTIPLE times over the phone and IN PERSON at the office, and they will not give her MRI!!! my sister needs this and while she may be too nice to leave a bad review, I will. This place should have been shut down a long time ago by looking at previous reviews. Also, they removed her from the "my chart" patient portal and she can not find any records of her attempts at getting in touch with her provider. How can a medical practice get away with this?! I'm baffled. We both work in healthcare and fortunately we know how to treat patients, but this place does not. Please DO NOT GO HERE, all you will do is waste your time. I see Dr. Soloman. He is knowledgable, nice and has a wonderful sense of humor. Staff is very friendly and everything is clean. I rarely have to wait and if I do it's not for long. I see him for MS and he understands this disease and how it effects me. I would recommend him to anyone needing a good neurologist. read more

I recently took my mother to Pinehurst Neurology. The staff at the front desk did what they needed to do. From the time we entered the door going back to see the doctor we were sent to the wrong places. The staff acted like they were doing us a favor by letting us be there. I would not recommend Pinehurst Neurology if you seek a place that is compassionate towards patients. No one needs to work with a clinic that has such an arrogant staff. read more

Can't hardly get any one on the phone to find out why the pharmacy is not receiving prescription. New person for the Epilepsy department, ever since she gest on board, our daughter's medications have been messed up, when it time for new medications refill, they sent to a wrong pharmacy. Epilepsy patient doesn't need their medications run out. Can't get the nurse to call back. Just poor services, I will not recommend this place for patient who does not need their prescriptions run out. Poor services! read more

I have been a patient of Doctor Sinclair's for nearly two years now and during that time the quality of care I have received has declined dramatically, So much that I am now changing offices. A few of My experiences include, difficulty in scheduling appointments in a timely manner, rude front desk staff, in office wait time is ALWAYS at least 30 minutes, improper insurance billing (over charged/charged for services not received) I had to have my insurance company handle that one. Ive been charged a 50$ new patient no call/no show appointment fee, twice, appointments I never scheduled, after I had been an established patient for over 6 months receiving treatment. (New pt no show fee is 50, while established is 25 per the sign at the reception desk) even if I had known about the appointment and missed it, the fee should have been 25$, not 50. These are just a few of the issues I have encountered during my time with Pinehurst Neurology. I have given them plenty of opportunity to to prove to me that they cared at all about me as a patient, Expressed my concerns to Teresa, the office manager, and was told, "sorry that's just how it is sometimes." Unacceptable. The office is pretty clean though and the nurses are nice so I'll give them a 2 to be fair. read more
