Spent the afternoon here with my niece the other day. And she loved it. This garden is very nice, shady and and an easy walk thru for kids.

Had a really great afternoon here! It was a beautiful day and wanted to go for a quick walk. I was able to buy a ticket right at the front and walked around the gardens. I sat outside at a table for awhile and it was very pretty. It was a pretty quick walk through the whole path so next time I would take my time and go a little slower.

Love visiting this place with family and friends. I first started coming here when my soon to be teenager was a baby There's a fun playground and the good ol' splash pad is still standing. The scenery is peaceful and there are plenty of great spots for beautiful photos. We like coming on Sundays, for yummy goodness at the farmer's market and then inside the gardens. They open every day, except holidays, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Admission price includes all day access to the Garden nature paths and usage of amenities on premise including the playground, mini viewing zoo, picnic areas. General Admission: $5.00 Seniors 65+: $3.00 Children under 2: Free Active Military (with valid ID) and immediate family: Free Plenty of parking spaces, Free.

Another fun day at Pinecrest Gardens. We got there early to avoid the Sunday crowds (nice day + farmers mkt). The playground is always our first stop. It's such a great playground! Next stop is the slash pad. Although it was a bit cool there were plenty of kids having a great time. On our way out we had the pleasure of viewing the Celia Cruz exhibit by the entrance. Our adventure ended at the farmers market. A terrific day!

Visited Pinecrest Gardens on Sunday and wow what a wonderful experience! The garden itself is not very big but it is beautiful and has a variety of plants! There is a splash pad for the kids and also a very unique and intricate playground! I can't wait to come back and explore this garden more in depth and visit the library!

Park is nice, you don't have to pay for parking. Entrance fee not to pricey and you can tell that the money that customers are being charged goes into the park.

Beautiful location, entry price is reasonable. Alot of greenery , alot of beautiful koi fish. Very family friendly location.

Rabbits and chickens as well as goats that have a soccer ball to play with haha kids loved it

The kids and I really enjoyed our summer kick off with Pinecrest Gardens ! Military friendly with lots of activities and fun for the parents and kids. Beautiful sites and walking trails. Benches to eat your brought in snacks. (Yes they allow outside food huge plus) but they also have a nice snack stand near the pond that even had swans gliding in the water. Splash pad was awesome and refreshing for the kiddos. We will definitely be back many many times I'm sure !

Still a five stars from me. I came with my lil charge and we discovered the new AMAZING park area. JOB WELL DONE. He loved it. We also saw the new zoo area - also a hit. We also enjoyed walking around the entire park and saw so many animals - in short, a huge crab, lizards, iguana, a pot belly pig, chickens, goats, rabbits, donkeys, fish, turtles, a swan, butterflies. We will surely be back and this time we will hit the splash area.

We went for the event - Nights of lights. It's a holiday lights set up. The whole park is converted into a winter wonderland. We got our tickets online and the check in process was smooth, no lines. There was plenty of parking available. The lights setup was so magical, completely loved it. Unfortunately my phone couldn't capture the beauty of the twinkling lights. It took us around 30 minutes to walk through the park. Highly recommend going to this setup during the holiday season.

It has excellent elevated views of the Miami skyline to the east and the Miami River, boats, and the W Flagler St Drawbridge (historical landmark, built in 1938) to the west. I believe the penthouse is located on the 10th floor of a relatively new building. 2. The venue is modern and versatile. The inside spaces (including restrooms) had a clean, updated look. For this event, there were multiple bars and food stations set up both indoors and outdoors. The dance floor was outside. The combination of string lights, rooftop patio decor, and the city skyline was beautiful. There was only one elevator to get everyone up and down, so there was a bottleneck there. They brought in a fire dancer to perform outside on the rooftop, which was really cool.

I absolutely loved the views here, which is why this place gets 5 stars!

Besides the bizarreness, the Elk Lodge is just a hang out. It has two large conference rooms, well, one very large ballroom, and a small conference type room that is attached to a pool room (or billiards), which connects to a very nice bar. Actually, you could go into the bar, then to the pool room (or billiards), then to the conference room. About the bar, it is nice. It is well stocked, with nice top shelf bottles on every shelf. Yes, not a bad dispenser of hard drinks, beer and wine. There are some tables with chairs scattered around, and stools at the bar counter. I could go into detail, but why? Just take my word for it, it's a nice bar. With that said, well, I don't really come here for the drinks, the bar, the old timers that hang out here, or the pool tables. I actually come to the large ballroom. This very large space hosts many events, but the one I particularly attend is the Tai Chi lessons organized by the Taoist Tai Chi Society of the USA (USA! USA!). These classes are offered in the mornings and in the afternoons, for beginners and for experienced practitioners alike. Different instructors teach here, and all are very knowledgeable, and nice, if I could drop a compliment. This ballroom also hosts others events, meet ups, dance lessons, even movie soirees. There is a lot going on at this place. My point is... if you plan events, you may want to check out this place. And if you are looking for Tai Chi lessons, look no further. You will be challenged in many different way if you sign up with the Taoists. Believe me, you will be challenged.

We arrived here a bit after 1:30 p.m. on a Thursday. As we toured the gardens, I could see the road we came in on as it continued past some areas of the garden, and by 3 p.m. it was packed with cars at a crawl. So come early? The facility has ample parking on site. There is a main building that houses the gift shop, ticket counter, and a very small cafe. The gardens spread out behind it. Our tickets were free thanks to a Horticultural Society membership that my wife got. If you know that you'll be visiting at least a couple of sites like this within a year, it is worth checking on this to save some money on entry fees. There are paved paths throughout the gardens. You can walk the entire property, but they also offer hourly tram tours. We opted to do the tram first, and I think this is definitely the way to go. You can get a 1-hour overview of all the areas and then decide what to re-visit on foot afterwards. The focus of the gardens is tropical plants, though they have some other varieties as well. Our guide on the tram tour was quite good. He provide a historical overview and highlighted specific plants and architectural design choices as we drove around. Afterwards, we checked out the butterfly house and a few adjoining buildings. We also revisited areas with particularly nice views. My wife wanted to track down some Egyptian geese and also iguanas, both of which we'd seen on the tour. We were able to find both without too much effort. We probably spent 2.5 - 3 hours here. I enjoyed this more than I expected, and if you have any interest in landscape design or botanical gardens, this is a very worthwhile stop near Miami.

And they even have awesome happy hour specialties, which I will be running back to? Yes, I may call this a cheesy restaurant, but I truly enjoyed everything about it. The food was quite good. The service was extremely attentive. The violinist was strangely entertaining. And the unique environment they have created is really an experience. I had the paella and my wife had the chicken and waffles. The paella was good, but did not have that familiar crust that makes paella authentic. Socarrat is the caramelized, crispy, and savory golden crust that forms on the bottom of a proper paella, considered the dish's hallmark of quality and was sadly absent. The chicken and waffles was also good but there was nothing interesting or spectacular about it. Waffles were pretty standard and the chicken was moist and cooked nicely, but nothing stood out about the breading. It was really the atmosphere they create that made this a wonderful meal. My big negative is that they have taken a room decorated perfectly with hearts, even in the trees, lights, and other decorations with scream, romance, and then adulterated the whole thing with advertising screens in every direction. I'm here already. Yes I would love to know what else you offer, but I don't want to see it flashing in front of me my entire meal from every angle that I look at. Yes it was effective because I now know about the happy hour and the special nights that you have, but I do think that my repeat business will be limited because I will have to look at these screens every minute of my meal every time I come in. Overall, a good experience, and with a few tweaks could be a great one.
