The place is run by a bunch of a$$holes. If you can find another country club, go there and stay clear of this one. An experience here is likely to ruin your day, month and year.

The only downside we had here was the older gentlemen in the clubhouse house was pretty rude when we told him we called for a tee time. Also, the cart girls were friendly, but one of them was extremely intoxicated, and took over 20 mins to make 2 drinks out on the course, as she had to ask 5 or 6 times what we wanted again. She drove away with open juice bottles and empty cans flying off of her cart. It was semi funny, but not extremely professional. Overall the course was nice and I would definitely play here again.

They have a nice grille by the courts (but we didn't eat there) and the swimming pool area looked beautiful. All in all very pleasantly surprised by this club. Tyler has it going on for sure. Now every time I put on my tennis shoes they have clay dust on them which reminds me of the clay courts and makes me smile :-)

We spent a lot of time deciding where we would like to live when we retired. Beginning in May 2017,…read morewe visited various golf course communities within Texas - moving from Dallas would be a big move and we needed to be sure we were doing the right thing. There were two "MUST HAVES" ... the first was that there had to be a real sense of community and the second was that it had to be a beautiful place. We visited Eagle's Bluff on what they call the Discovery Package - it allowed us to tour the property, play golf (Saturday & Sunday), have lunch and dinner at the club and even included an overnight stay at The Hampton Inn about 15 minutes away. This place was unbelievable and everyone we met was so nice & welcoming! We returned to Dallas but could not get Eagle's Bluff out of our minds. That prompted another visit about a month later. Sure enough, it was the same feeling - what an unexpected treasure in East Texas - a fantastic golf course, beautiful pine trees and friendly, happy people! Ok, was this too good to be true? Now, we were serious .... we went back for a third visit and this time, we played golf with people who lived at Eagle's Bluff (without anyone from the EB sales team) - we were able to ask them every question you could imagine about the property and why they chose to live there. That night, we had dinner with different people who lived out there and asked them the same questions (again without anyone from the EB sales team). Once again, we were totally impressed with everything we had seen and heard - this was the place for us! On our fourth visit, we bought the most incredible piece of property overlooking a lake and the ninth fairway - this would be the place where we would build our retirement home. We have become friends with so many fabulous people, the golf is incredible, the food at the country club is REALLY good and you feel very safe. It doesn't get much better than this - we absolutely made the right decision! Now, if you will excuse me, my wife & I have to go play golf ...
