The venue hosts a variety of events from comedians like Tom Papa, who I saw, to upcoming musical acts such as LeAnn Rimes, and to community events such as the Longview Symphony. Tickets are somewhat pricey. To see the comedian Tom Papa, I paid nearly $50 per seat. The theater was only about 10% filled. There were so many empty seats. I feel like they would have been better off setting their ticket price lower and filling the venue than the situation at hand. I bought box seats. This is one of the side wings that appears to be a private balcony. There are only about 6-8 seats in this section and they were all free moving so we could scoot them forward to peer over the balcony edge on to the stage. The seats on the floor looked to be standard theater seating, but since the venue is newish, the seats appeared ample and plush. I don't foresee driving to this location again. It is important to note that this is a Christian university and they apparently hand pick acts and censor those who perform here. Parking was free and in a nicely paved lot adjacent to the venue. Police were on hand before and after the event to make sure people could cross the road safely.
