Scammers: Pairing Predatory Prices with Initial Trip/Assessment Fees to Generate Revenue…read more They utilize "standardized" pricing cards to push their predatory prices. I received a quote for over 1,000$ to install 2 spigots that are already next to the appropriate water lines. Had another certified and insured plumber show up the same day and do it for under $300. I am including the picture of the invoice from the other plumber and a screenshot in which All Plumbing tried to buy their way out of an honest review. Read the other negative reviews like the one from Barbara H. before scheduling with them. Companies like this don't belong in Berkeley County.

He installed a Rinnai tankless water heater for me and was able to explain in great detail the different features and which best suited my needs. His work was exemplary and his price was fair. He clearly takes great pride in his work and treats the project as a work of art that both looks terrific but satisfies the intended needs. I have used Dan again already to do a new garbage disposal, and again he counseled me on the absolute best unit for our needs. He's also walking me through a third project that requires my taking advantage of Moen's lifetime faucet warranty in which there was some pitting, and without his knowledge and counsel I would have been buying these parts myself. Everything he told me about Moen was correct and I'm getting all the parts free of charge. I strongly and confidently recommend Dan of Absolute Plumbing & Boiler to anyone who has plumbing needs. He has over 22 years of experience and is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of his trade. Others I received bids from did not compare to Dan, and I'm thrilled that I found him and readily recommend him to friends and neighbors.

The issue was my drain line from upstairs was leaking and cracked the pipe into my concrete. They were able to fix all of that as well as convert some lines from CPVC to PEX for me so I can prevent future issues. The price was steep but I was given prompt service and quality repair, so I got what I paid for. They also moved the condensate lines for me to where I wanted them because they were plumbed wrong and in my storage area which made no sense. Overall I'm super happy with the prompt and professional service. If I had to gripe about anything it would be price was a little steep, but again, I rather pay extra and get quality than deal with some of these other plumber types. Thanks again Holy City!

I called around to get estimates. No place would come out to even do anything other than a diagnostic fee for nearly $100. Many people told me over the phone that they wouldn't give me an estimate, or rough guess would be $1500-$3000 to repair my issue. I had a corroded gas line from my meter into my home that was leaking. I called John this morning. He firstly told me it would only be a $45 diagnostic fee, and roughly $300 to repair. Not only did he do both of those parts, he did them much cheaper than many of the other companies I called. Then he even came the same day, at the time that was best for me. When he got to my home, he quickly saw the issue, and knew it would be a little more expensive than what I was describing. I didn't even send him any photos when I first called. He went to Lowes, got the needed pipe, and was back quickly. He completed the work, very thoroughly, and as cleanly as possible. Mind you, my issue resulted in a hole needing to be made on the inside of my home to access the gas line. He did the work, and only charged me $500, which is a fraction of what I probably would've paid with another company, and also probably would've had to wait a day or two for someone to come out. He's very knowledgable and seems to do good work. He's the owner, so his reputation is on the line. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a plumber! I will definitely use him again in the future as well. The gas company came out a short time later, tested the line for leaks, and did not find any, and turned the gas back on! I'm so glad I went with west Ashley plumbing, and not some big name brand.

We opted not to get an outdoor kitchen ( which I do love) after having one catch fire in a brand new home we had built in Texas. FYI, the fire was all due to bad installation from the outdoor kitchen people , but it scarred me emotionally enough to only have a grill I can push into the back yard in case of emergency. After being told by first responders that my house would have exploded shortly, I knew we would be ever vigilant should we do this again. Al looked over the area and where the hook up valve was located and offered us sooooo many better options than where the builder had put it. He really knew his business and we were confident that for safety and aesthetics he was exactly the man for the job. And boy was he. He removed the old hook up valve which was poorly installed to start with( yes, this is a new home) and moved it to a much better location with all new hoses, connections and everything else needed for the job. Talk about a difference. He also had every tool for the job so there was no running back and forth to the store or back to the business. That was really nice. Carson, his apprentice was also incredibly helpful and found the wire needed in the grill to hook up to the starter. We were afraid that Lowe's wouldn't get there for the delivery in time and we would have to pay for another service call, but they made it just as they were finishing! A job WELL done!! I asked if everything else checked out. He told us yes. He had gone upstairs and outside to the unit with his diagnostic tools. We bought the part from Lowe's. That was not the problem . Turns out it was the compressor. In my opinion ,this person did not have the experience to know the problem or to diagnose the problem correctly. Also, I was not given a receipt just told it would be charged to my credit card, 574 dollars. Also, I had to give out my cc info over the phone to the guy before he would even drive to my house.
