I was looking on my apps for a place to get waxing for my lip and eyebrows, as with the onslaught of COVID19 restrictions, this was not something I was yet comfortable doing. Since school is starting, I could not put it off any longer. I always look at reviews to determine if a place deserves a look-see. Many places are not open or didn't answer the phone. Now mind you I have seen this hut in the parking lot of where Super One Foods is located and the Drug Emporium. The outside looks like a former eating establishment, so I wasn't sure I would even consider going there. Let me tell you, wait no more, have no reservations, for this is the place. They answered the phone quickly, they suggested people specifically for my needs by name, and had such a congenial dispostion on the phone. I drove there not long after and was immediately greeted at the door, my needs were met by friendly staff with great English, and the skills displayed had me leaving feeling like I will come back here for my next wax. I will also check out their options for a pedicure as well. I cannnot spend three hours waiting for feet and hands to be taken care of or I would have kept going to the place I used before. Went here today and while the young woman who did my toes and fingers did a fine job, the owner of the business is somewhat rude and makes you feel uncomfortable. Would let the young woman who did my nails do so again but unfortunately won't go back as I felt so uncomfortable. And one nail is night right. read more

My mother and I went to get our nails done. We came in and were seated almost immediately which was nice. Everything was running smoothly until the end. We got the deluxe package for our feet and that was an enjoyable experience. The manicurist man came over and did my mother's hands and came over to do mine. As I was watching him do my hands I noticed he hadn't taken off the oil nail polish I had on my hands and was just simply filing away on my nail, he didn't let my hands soak long enough before he began cutting my cuticles so he was basically pulling at dry skin (which was painful), and after he began painting he didn't fully paint my nails from side to side. Most people should have a refreshed feeling when their nails have just gotten finished but we couldn't experience that because my hands didn't look as good as my feet, my hands were dry and brittle, and my hands were in pain.
