Their heart-felt empathy and meticulous attention to Aunt C's needs are respected and appreciated by me and my family. The facility is maintained at the highest level of quality. It is always clean and well-organized. Often when visiting Aunt C, meals are cooking on the stove. It smells like home. When my family and I visit Aunt C, we are always received with open arms and smiles, and often with hugs. We are treated like we are part of the living center family. The expenses to care for Aunt C at ADL Living Center could be much more. However, the owner, Virginia Campbell, is committed to minimizing cost while offering best services. In fact, when a private room became available, we were able to secure it for Aunt Catherine. Then we placed into her room some of her personal belongings from her residence and photos of our families. In closing, when my sister and I began to serve as guardians for Aunt C, of course, we considered whether it would be best for Aunt C to be moved to another residence. Once you work through that you have to find the "perfect" place. I'm here to tell you the perfect place does not exist. Nothing is going to take the place of their home or living with family. And every single nursing home has bumps in the road. That said, I have nothing but high praise for Regency Village. Ignore all reviews more than 3 months old. Regency was bought by a new corporation 4 months ago and is aggressively working to make this the best place in the area for our loved ones. My dad has been at Regency about a month and I'm up there every single day, 3-4 hours a day. I've seen first hand the commitment to care. The office staff - admitting, reception, and business manager are all knowledgeable, accessible, and eager to help. Everything is laid out clearly and there were no surprises, delays, or issues with admitting or billing. Both ladies made a point to check on us after we got my dad settled. The receptionist is friendly and welcoming every single time. She goes out of her way to help. The nursing staff is accessible for family questions, well trained, and are intentional in connecting with patients. No one walks into my dad's room and hands him meds and walks out. They always stay and have a conversation with him. They care about the person. They are patient and tolerant with his grouchy personality! The CNA's are hard workers. Can the facility be short staffed in this area? Yes, but every single facility is. This is an incredibly hard job and it's hard to fill those positions. But, the workers at Regency don't skip on rounds, they don't ignore call buttons, and they don't rush with your loved ones. These folks work hard and have a massive impact on quality of life. They know it and they take their responsibility seriously. They also connect with residents. The therapy staff here are all above and beyond the average in house therapy. The therapy facilities are amazing and my dad has increased his abilities since working with the therapy staff. They know how to balance the fine line of motivating but not forcing. The facility itself is gorgeous. Clean, large rooms, outdoor space, quiet street. The workers are happy to be here and it shows. There is pride in being part of Regency. Make the time to come visit. I visited dozens of places before bringing my dad here. I'm so thankful we found Regency. This is where your loved ones needs to be.

Following 23 days being bedridden in hospital & a skilled nursing/PT facility, mobility and tending to personal & domestic needs was difficult. CareWorks provided Oniika Howard, a warm, experienced, thoughtful & caring caregiver who provided just the tight level of support & assistance. Within days "at home," I had regained mobility, albeit slowly, and with Oniika's help & support continued the cleaning & small projects I had started. Oniika also provided light meals and support with bathroom and bathing needs as required. Only a small portion of CareWork's caregiver capabilities were used as I was able to be ~80% independent. Had I needed more, Oniika could have provided with no problems Highly recommended.
