Venues who have their own bar services usually up charge you a bunch for alcohol costs. - They donate a portion of your total payment to nonprofits against human trafficking/abuse. - I texted Emily maybe 20x a week with random questions at all hours of the day and she responded SO fast every single time! -I emailed Brittney with changes to chairs and reception set up like 7 times the week before and she was so sweet and responded quickly every time. -They were so accommodating with the set up of chairs and tables. My mom is going through chemo so we had to give her a bubble of space everywhere she was during the day and they helped me space things out to achieve that. -They had a staff member there during the morning for questions while setting up and at the end of the night to put all borrowed decor back in the closet. Restroom was clean, stocked with various essentials (lint roller, tissues, lotion, other toiletries) and well maintained. Navigating to this venue can be a bit intimidating. Located off of a side road (no traffic signal) that intersects with Hwy. 105, you feel as if you're driving into the deep woods until you reach The Carriage House. It is a very unique setting, and when you leave, the road gets very dark! Parking is ample, but be aware that the parking lot itself is actually stones and rocks (a bit difficult to travel across if you're wearing high heels). The venue was not clean, and we encountered what appeared to be a roach infestation. We were also told we could not use the sink because the venue did not have a grease trap. The bartender's behavior was very unprofessional, and I was concerned that they appeared to be under the influence while working. Additionally, the glass entrance door was covered in fingerprints and had clearly not been properly cleaned. For a wedding venue, cleanliness, professionalism, and proper facilities are extremely important. Unfortunately, this venue did not meet the standards I would expect for an event of this importance.

Our assigned DJ was completely unprofessional. He had ample amount of time to fix the issue, call for help, or at least communicate the issue to someone after the ceremony and did not. Instead he went on with our grand entrance and first dance knowing the sound was completely screwed up. During our first dance he was crashing out, hands on head, pacing back and forth, not knowing what to do. If we could go back we would have been way more intentional in choosing a DJ. Music is such an important part of a wedding, we trusted EC Entertainment and they completely let us down. So many moments of our wedding that were supposed to be special were stolen from us. We will never get those back. No amount of apologies will fix it. Important to mention that our DJ also did not reach out to us for the first time until three days before our wedding. We would absolutely NOT recommend EC Entertainment to future couples, however we do wholeheartedly recommend Addison Woods as a venue. They handled the situation with grace, understanding and compassion. They did everything they could to make it right. They couldn't have known it was going to happen. Please learn from our mistake, do not hire EC Entertainment. Meet with other DJ companies and find your fit.

There was plenty of space to walk around the property between the ceremony and reception, and the outside lights in the garden area were stunning once the sun went down. The windows in the chapel don't face the westward sun, making it cooler (as opposed to other venues we've been to where it's so hot). There's a cool 1920s car that makes for great photo ops. I'll also note the food was excellent, and the bartenders were phenomenal. The staff was remarkable. If we were planning a wedding, we'd definitely consider The Peach Orchard.
