I wanted someone that cared for cats and had an understanding of their complex nature to take care of them. Larissa was perfect. She sent me pictures and sometimes videos every visit. She really grew on them. I highly recommend Larissa for pet care.

There aren't many on the Eastside, and even fewer who know cats well. We tried out Meow & Beyond after a poor experience with a service that catered mainly to dogs and were blown away. Larissa, Rodrigo, and their associates Heidi and Skyler are fabulous and intuitive cat caretakers. We've had all four come to our house at some point to visit our cats during our trips, and they do a better job than *we* do at ensuring the cats get their "hunt, catch, kill, eat" play and feeding routine! When we come home, we can tell how relaxed and content our cats are because of how thoroughly their energy was drained every day and how well the sitter catered attention to each cat. The sitter leaves a unique QR code printout at our house and uses it to "check in/out" when they come and go, and the end of every session is marked by a brief, informative email (and usually pictures) about what the cats were up to that morning or evening. Getting the pictures and details are the best parts of our days while we're gone! Larissa is quick to respond to email requests for sitting and is very communicative about the reservation. Larissa, Rodrigo, Heidi, and Skyler are all attentive to instructions or requests we've given them and do everything they can to make sure the cats are happy. During one of our trips, Heidi even went above and beyond to check the porch every day and bring in a couple of large, unwieldy boxes when we told her we were expecting some packages. Essentially, the humans and felines in our house can't recommend Meow & Beyond enough. (Thanks, guys!)

I agree with most comments here that Bellevue Pet Sitters are reliable in terms of providing pet…read morecare services and I really liked their online client portal for easy communication. I have booked cat sitting with them for 3 times since last year. We actually have everything automated at home (food, water, litter boxes), so our expectation for cat sitters is just to provide company for our three kitties. Anna and Emma were great with hanging out with them and making sure everything was ok. However, we had some issues when David visited our cats during our most recent trip. Maybe the behavior I'm describing below doesn't bother you and in that case I would recommend you to use their service. Though I think it is important for us to share our experience. We saw on our camera (which we told them about) that David found a box of nuts in our kitchen and ate some from it every time he was there. I couldn't care less about the value of the nuts but the lack of boundary really bothered me. This made us lose trust in him and wonder what he could be doing in our house when we are not around. It is a shame but because of this, we will not be booking any service from Bellevue Pet Sitters anymore.

She has done vacation stays with multiple overnights, as well as quick dinner visits for when we're taking a night out. She was not "socialized" (ie. used to being around other cats) during her first visit, but the team worked with me before booking to make sure that Mochi would be a good fit and have the private space she needed to feel comfortable while she warmed up to the space. For cats younger than 1 year or unsocialized young cats like mine, they have a separate room where they let the kitties warm up to each other before letting them free-roam around the whole catio and garden, which I think is a great idea. On that first visit, Mochi ended up wanting to hang out with the team in their office the whole week, and they made sure she got plenty of stimulation and attention even though she wasn't being a team-player and playing with the other guests. The staff give great personalized feedback at the end of each visit, so we were happy to hear when we picked her up after her second visit that she was a bit braver and ventured into the free-roam areas this time. Another highlight for me is that the team posts photos of every guest every other day of the week, so it's easy to check in and see how your cat is doing while you're traveling! Their pricing is super fair and booking our second visit was even easier, since they already had Mochi's records and details. It gives great peace of mind to know that the team is extremely on top of vaccination records, so my cat is not going to get sick from the other guests. We will continue to be happy patrons of All My Kitties!
