We went to visit our grandmother, and she needed a plant. So we stopped by this nursery to get one. There were so many flowers and plants to choose from. I loved going down all the rows and seeing them all. Everything from little potted plants, to hanging baskets, ferns, to trees. The best part was the animals though. We discovered a pond with a bridge that had a coy pond. There were bunnies, birds, goats, turtles, and alligator, chickens, and a tepee. It was so cool. Next time I'm in Mississippi, will definitly stop by. read more

I buy from Pine Hills every year and every plant and tree grow and grow... they are very kind, knowledgeable and more than happy to help. They sell quality plants, shrubs and trees at a very reasonable price. I've tried Lowe's and Walmart on occasion but every time the plant dies by year end. read more

I love this place. The selection is great and the staff is wonderful. I'm reading some of these other "Karen" reviews and I'm wondering if they expected to get a foot massage while there. It's a nursery. It has a huge selection and every member of the staff knows everything about the plants. If being told to "water a plant" is offensive to you then perhaps you should be buying artificial plants. read more

I do not understand how this nursery does not pop up when searching for nurseries in the Pass Christian area. This one is by far and away the best. It is not but a minute drive north of I10, and it is more than just a place to buy plants, it is an experience! While they have a very large selection of competitively priced plants from perennials to trees to fruits and veggies, they also have a very friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. The most intriguing part of the visit, however, is Chomper!! This live alligator is over 50 years old and quite a sight to see. So make sure to take the walk over the Monet-esque bridge behind the main building to visit this magnificent creature! read more

I was so disappointed with this place ... it was the staff that made this place truly suck. We viewed all their areas opened to public. They had a non public area that we didn't cross the line. I found an awesome Lilly and my son found a palm amongst the same lilies (very obviously NOT infringING on the do not cross line). We carted both up front along with our other findings. Along the way someone asked where we got the palm from, my son explained . They said oh great. We got to the front. The woman there (who had been watering plants) was VERY (uninformed)...I asked her about the care of a plant I had gotten from an area that she was watering, telling her I wasn't knowledgeable about that particular plant, she said "what do you want to know"....! I said well.. how to care for it. She said "water it".! She proceeded to call her boss about the the price of the palm. We were then told that they are for "display" and the owners daughter "handles" them, they're not for sale. She also didn't know the prices of the plants we bought and I found she overcharged for three of them. So disappointing! My first and last time here. I'll head over to the nursery on Beatline - much more knowledgeable and friendly! read more

Selection was fantastic & I was honestly ready to spend a good bit of money here since I try to buy local. However the staff person who helped me (only after being asked) was less than helpful to say the least. When I asked a question I was just pointed in the general direction of what I was looking for was located. I've worked customer service & sales for a very long time and I would NEVER not take a customer to an item. It's customer service 101. Sad thing is I drove over 30 minuets to come to this location because I want to support small businesses & read their outstanding reviews. If this weren't a small business I would honestly give even less stars, but I don't want to ruin their rating either. I just hope they have better service in the future for customers. I'll be driving to A Bloom Garden Center in Mobile before I drive out here again. Again great selection, as long as you know what you want and don't have questions or need assistance. I wasted a lot of my time to give them a shot & ended up buying nothing due to the lack of service. read more

Love this place! We bought a bunch of herbs for a friend's house warming gift. This place is super cool. They've got a live fat gator, bunch of goats, chickens, and rabits. Great for the family. I'll support this place if I'm ever in the area again. read more
