Pine Creek is THE BEST campground EVER!!! Kind staff, clean pool, fun!! A lot of fun stuff nearby. It is just the best!! VISIT YOURSELF!

The staff at Pinecreek Campground were extremely pleasant and helpful. We attended a Jayco rally August 3-6. There were plenty of activities planned for the rally, plus we received a swag bag of goodies. There are so many areas to explore nearby the campsite that we extended our stay by 2 additional days. read more

First the good: campground is easy to find - lots of signs to get there. Check in was alright. They gave us a map with the site circled and directions. The pool seemed pretty clean - we didn't go in it. The bad: We rented a camper on-site. it didn't match the pictures that were online. While we got a map of the grounds, it was still hard to determine we were at the right site. The site numbers were on electrical boxes hidden from street view. Was told the cleaning lady was OCD...not at all. The propane was off (management said it shouldn't have been) so the fridge smelled (they fixed quickly) and there was mold on the blinds (started an asthma attack) and cobwebs in the bathroom and a few other places. Also smelled - we got some neutralizers. Awning and outside lights didn't work making it dangerous to go in/out at night. No WIFI as promised - would have been nice when it rained one night. We sat at the fire and constantly had golf carts zooming around us (over speed limit with no horn when it was dark) and kids yelling even after quite hours. Felt out of place due to the amount of regulars. The large slide shown was only open a few hours a day. The campground reminded me of a hoarder who needed room for stuff. There was abandoned cars (mostly Elements) all over! At least 10 that were for parts. There were a few abandoned campers and a few parts cars across from our campsite which wasn't pleasant to look at. If they cleaned up all the abandoned vehicles and cleaned the rental units better, it would be a nice site. We don't plan on returning again. read more

Let's start with the good. The park is very nice. Lots of trees, nice pond. The bad is everything else. We originally booked a 30 amp full hookup site. When we got there the lady at the office gave us our spot number, map and like 3 pages of rules, she was friendly. When we get to the spot there was no way we would be able to get our 33 ft travel trailer in there without hitting the people in front. Also in this section they decided to share water spigots between site. It was a setup nightmare, power in the back, sewer in the front water 100 feet away at the other site. Anyways we called the office and the lady told us 2 other sites that were available and we could take. One required us to somehow parallel park between some class As. The other spot was promising, corner site with more space than the others. I try to back it in there and started sliding all over the place, none of these sites had much gravel and were mostly dirt and grass, I guess it had rained before we came because it was a mud pit. Couldn't even get my levelers under the tires because of the muddy mess we were in. At that point I had enough, for $50/night I shouldn't have to stay in a mud pit! I was done! I drive back to the office to get my money back and leave after wasting at least an hour trying to get into these ridiculous spots. I told my girlfriend to go talk to the lady at the office because I was in a bad mood and it wasn't the lady's fault she was just an employee. My girlfriend comes back and said we were going to a water electric only site instead. They apparently have like 4 or 5 different types of sites. This new site was better, it actually had some gravel on the ground and was in a rather empty area of the park. If you have to stay here I would recommend this area near site 38 no sewer though. The roads in the park are gravel and in poor shape. They have a large fenced area for dogs, but again it was just a mud pit. If you know you clearly have some drainage issues at least put some gravel down. Also note it's a hell of a drive up some steep hills to get to this park. Honestly I would not stay here again. read more

Nice huge lots for tents. We stayed in number 16 and was out of the way. Friendly people and very helpful. Was a good stay. Showers take a while to get warm but we're as good as any camp ground showers and cleaner than most. Only downside was showers could do with some ventilation as get hot. read more

We spent 8nights here while visiting the finger lakes area. A good central point to work out of. The campground was clean and well maintained except for a handful of older structures that are no longer in use due age that really just need to be removed. The campground did not seem more than 40% full over the wine festival weekend. Not too many loud you kids or lod adults either. It would be nice to provide a better wifi option. Would consider staying here again. read more

Clean and Simple We stayed in Cottage #1 for three nights, Sat, Sun and Mon. Upon arrival on Saturday and checking in, there was a mix up with our reservation 2 nights vs 3, not sure who's fault but it was handled well and we stayed three nights as planned. The cottage was simple, queen bed in a decent size bedroom with a small closet and small bureau for clothes, a night stand and light. The bathroom was smallish, but not as bad as some older motels. The kitchen had a microwave, propane stove/oven, full size fridge, decent size sink. Living space had a small dining table for 4 and a pull out sofa bed. Most important, everything was clean, dated, but clean. Even the shower curtain was clean, no mildew or mold ( can't say the same about the general shower building ( took a peak ). The campground for the most part was quiet, I had to ask a neighboring cottage to turn down their music. It was during the day but we didn't want to hear their music. The did turn it down and there was never another issue, and quiet at night. There were some seasonal campers down the road we could hear playing music and loud conversations, but didn't last too long. Sunday and Monday nights were very quiet. The only issues we had with the cottage were; we had to ask for a light bulb for the bedroom which was very dim and about to burn out, the fire ring wasn't cleaned out from the last campers, there was mildew on the outdoor chairs we had to clean off before sitting and the water was brown but cleared up after running for about 10 minutes ( well water ), and last, for being in wine territory there were no wine glasses in the cottage, as well as no cooking utensils ( we cook over the fire ) not metal tong or large spatula. Those minor details would possible deserve 5 stars. Two other items were it seemed they "nickle and dime you", not a big deal but you have to pay for wifi to a 3rd party which we didn't because the signal was poor, and there's a 3% charge for using a credit card to pay for your stay. Both of those items should be listed on their website. The picnic tables around the grounds were in good shape, sites weren't too close together although some were more spread out than others. All in, nice quiet campsite. Would definitely stay in a cottage again. read more

Though our fellow campers were very nice, our stay was rough. We left to go hiking for four hours and while we were gone our water to the black tank flush was turned on which flooded our coach. The neighbors saw 3 different Pine creek employees at our water pipe. When informed about what happened, one employee said she had been removing a splitter valve and gauge that another camper (who shared the same water pipe) had left. 45 minutes after the employees were at our water pipe our neighbors noticed water coming off of our roof and shut the water off as we were driving up. The manager, Jeremy. would not let the employees speak to us, was extremely rude, and offered no assistance when requested. Also, be prepared for water shortages and power surges. read more

Park OK - Restroom/showers terrible bad need of TLC Most recent stay was 07/03/16 thru 07/06/16 (I 'm late in posting my review) . . . We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. 1st we were close to restroom/shower/laundry building [if you want to call it that ~ reason for 2-star rating] best they tear it down and start over - just terrible. Well below expected standards ~ owners / managers should use the facility for a true experience instead of their own bathroom, which I doubt looks like this. In addition to the overall poor condition there is no privacy ~ a communal changing area ~ but 2 good things, it had a couple of hooks and rubber floor mats outside the old and run down fiberglass stalls. The shower curtains were older and in need of replacement but no shelves, or bench for your stuff. The communal sink area was just as bad ~ was one of the worst we've experienced after 3 years and 60,000 miles of travels camping all over the country. We were in the section nearest the playground. We camped 4 days as a base camp for finger lakes region and never saw anyone clean them ~ same cigarette butts and trash on the floor we saw when we arrived and when we left. Note of interest ~ there is another restroom/shower facility adjacent to the pool near the park entrance which was also old and outdated but in much better shape than the one just described ~ we used it instead although it was a long distance from our site. Overall the campground itself is pretty nice; the interior roads were gravel and sites were grass/gravel mixed and all sites had a picnic table + fire ring. They were fairly level, large and good space between other sites not squeezed together; there were some permanent seasonal sites but they were all well-kept and not trashy. We were so glad we found this gem on our RV trip to the finger lakes. We stayed one night and we loved it ... we will definitely be back! We needed a quiet place to put the 30' RV camper while attending a wedding in Ithaca, NY. We talked to Sue. Sue even called to make sure everything was ok on the eve of our arrival. She even helped guide us in, (since the area has many steep hills and turns) When we arrived she suggested a better spot than we had requested. She even put me in a golf cart and drove me to the 2 spots so I could make up my mind! WOW. We ended up getting a spot right near the pond with a HUGE yard! We parked the 30'RV and was delighted with the spot. We walked to the camp office and saw that we could purchase firewood (hardwood and pine avail), ice cream, eggs, bacon, etc. When we needed directions to the wedding .... Sue was there to help. When we sat outside in the evening around a fire all you could were bullfrogs and occasionally other campers. But, for the most part... The quiet of this campground was astonishing. This was also the weekend right after July 4th. All in all a very good experience. We did not use the restrooms or showers. We did see a lot of kids enjoying themselves in the pool area. This campgrounds website is VERY deceiving. Or experience was not fabulous at all. It is a small campground with tiny sites. The woman who runs it is very snippy and not customer oriented. She was quite snarky to our special needs son when he inquired about local fishing areas and to myself when we reported there was no hot water in the women's shower (also only one shower had any water pressure, when we went to the second building the showers were super tiny and you can't control the burning hot water that scolded my toddler). The tiny sites, lack of decent showers, over priced laundry (only one smelly washer and poor working dryer), power tools being used at 830am and constant sewer smell, and absolutely NO HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES, aren't even the worst part.... The worst is the "park". The park consisted of several pieces of broken, rusty metal equipment! I have no idea how New York health and safety has not flagged this. Absolutely the most unsafe and poorly kept play area I've ever seen. This is not a place for families, skip it! read more

My sister and I rented a cabin for the weekend so we could hike the area trails. It is a perfect location for all the state parks and trails in the area. The only reason we found it was because the state parks and most hotels where full because of a music festival. The cabin was $120.00 a night, about the price we would pay for a hotel/motel room. The grounds where nice and the cabin was not bad. It had one bedroom, bathroom with shower and a small kitchen living area. It had a stove, refrigerator and microwave oven. One roll of T.P. and one roll of paper towels. It was clean and had what you except for a cabin, not the best double bed and a really bad fold out sofa. There was a campfire ring but a very small bundle of wood was $5.00 so a half ass fire would cost about $15 to $20 a night. We did not have kids with us so the condition of the playground didn't matter to us. They could remove the old out houses, they could be dangerous for children. The arcade is a room with a pool table, a few video games, a few out of order video games and 3 or 4 board games. They did have a lot of DVD's and paperback books. We could not get Wi-Fi to work, so once the fire was done we just played on our phones. We didn't bring a TV or radio. We did not bring enough food because the web site says they have a restaurant and bar, but it was closed down. We probably would not stay again because you can get a nice hotel room with 2 double beds and free breakfast for the same price. A K-cup of coffee was $1.50 LOL read more

We spent 4 nights there this past week in a site near the office. I like the campground. Prices were reasonable, the location was good and the property was old but reasonably well maintained. Restrooms near the pool were clean and the sites, while not large were comfortable. There was a sign asking people using the showers to minimize water use as they were on a well and had limited water availability. On arrival, I had a good experience with the lady who manned the desk. We checked in and paid by credit card, but only remembered my Good Sam's discount before we left the office. I asked if we could still get the Discount and was told I had to wait until the manager was in.. Soooo the next day I went in to talk to the manager who told me it was too late to get the discount. When I asked her why not she got angry, and never did give me a reason. When I pressed the point she started shouting at me!!! I clearly wasn't going to get the discount or an explanation!!. I guess I'd look at other locations before returning to this one. If you do plan on using this rv park, I'd be sure to know all the details before you sign on the bottom line. THE MANAGER JUST AIN'T VERY FORGIVING OR FLEXIBLE WHEN IT COMES TO DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS. It's too bad that I was dealt with so harshly.. I plan to return to the finger lakes next summer and doubt that I would return to Pine Creek. read more

When we arrived the campground was empty, a few Rvs and 3 or 4 tent campers. So why were we placed on a campsite where all the rain water settled to?The grass was saturated and I was sinking into the mud along with the truck. I thought maybe we were put there because the place was booked and there was nothing else available . But this was not the case. I completely understand why the campsite was not sold out,considering how close it is too all the beautiful state parks. This is because it horrible! For one the owner has no customer service skills and when we complained she was rude, full of excuses and insulting. She told us that the saturated campsite wouldn't have been a problem " if we had a pop up or RV"! Why wouldn't she use her common sense and put us on higher ground??? I don't know?Secondly, the bathrooms weren't cleaned regularly, the showers were scorching hot and the men's room had plumbing issues. So, he was unable to use the bathroom. The outhouse were disgusting and not maintained. I get the impression they don't want to maintain these facilities, because they only want to be a Rv park where showers and bathrooms are not needed. The campsite had nothing to do for children of any age. Other then fishing or swimming. The playground is 30yrs old and rundown like the rest of the place. They should take some tips from a Yogi Bear or KOA where they have activies like go carts, canoeing,arts and crafts, ice cream socials, movie night and a arcade with games from this decade. And in 2015 who doesn't have WiFi? I get we're camping, this is just because your campground offers nothing! This was by far the worst campground we've ever stayed at! read more

we were so glad that we found this place to actually be big rig size. we couldn't get a full hook up but the water and electric was ok. the size was great for our coach size (43 feet) and we had plenty of space to open slides and spread out on the picnic table . the fire pit was good size too. we saw a huge fire works display (July 4th weekend) and the next night was a really good band that played all types of music. The owner was really nice and friendly and was very helpful in every way. My only concern was the bath room (it was not the owners fault that the campers didn't understand that you don't put paper towels in the toilets)we will be back read more
