Immediately on receiving the order we opened it and were really disappointed to see the 11 treads we ordered were all the wrong material. The 3 landing treads are awesome but the 11 treads were not right. Then we realized if we flip them over, the underside of the treads is correct. However, the issue is that the treads we got are clearly not a full bullnose. There is a square edge profile on one side of these treads. Clearly there is a top vs. bottom with the bottom being the square edge profile. However, the live sawn side of the boards has the square edge profile which is meant to be the bottom -- the square edge facing up is now how stairs should be. It seems someone in the millwork shop accidentally put these through the router table upside down using something like a 7/8" router bit? The other thing I think that happened is they did put a full bull nose but then someone put the treads through a planer which resulted in the square edge on the finished side. Either way, these are defective treads. I took the time to make a video to explain this and sent it to the customer service email but I don't really feel like they watched it. They claimed all of their treads use a full bull nose but as you can see on these attached photos (my wife and I traced the nose) the treads have a square edge profile on the top of the tread. This isn't a simple fix like sanding down the square profile -- that just will not work. Also, they can't be re-routed without the depth being reduced to closer to 10" which also won't work. We ordered 10.5" deep treads. We just want to get what we paid for. The only way to fix this problem is to remake the treads correctly with a full bull nose or with this nose profile facing rounded side up. I sent additional photos over to customer service and I'm hoping that they'll do the right thing and send us a replacement order on Monday. If the company stands behind its warranty around defective products (these treads are defective) and sends us a new order on Monday, I'll consider this a 5-star company and update this review accordingly. However, based on seeing these surprisingly bad Yelp reviews I don't have much confidence and if they choose to not address this issue I'll issue a chargeback with American Express.

The online ordering worked great and I was able to submit a diagram of how I wanted it cut. Some sides needed a straight cut, others bullnose and the sink was off-center so we needed to be on the same page before they started cutting. They contacted me right away to confirm the diagram details and after a few emails back and forth they started work. I was comfortable with the process and confident it would come out well after working with them. I went for the CNC cut of the sink and polly satin finish. It came out great! From the day I ordered it took about a month but now has saved me a lot of prep work and time. The sink is ready to be mounted. The packing was a pallet so it was very well protected. they also gave me the cutout so I have a project with my daughter to make a cutting board with it. I had explained that the stove really needed attention because it was filthy from the previous owner. We then had to change the appointment time we scheduled, and Desha seemed to understand and was accommodating. We appreciated that. Additionally, when she did the work, the house looked great! She definitely cleaned it well. So well, that we even gave her extra money as a thank you for such a great job and for us changing the appointment time. Fast forward a few weeks, we wanted to use her services for another house. This house is the same size with same number of bedrooms and bathrooms. This time, it's $135 but she wouldn't be cleaning the stove because we said we were planning on replace that. I was confused. Wait, last time it was $135 with the stove and this time it's excluding an appliance? I told her this doesn't make sense and showed her the quote from yelp from before. She said that I had told her the refrigerator didn't really need to be cleaned so she cut her price last time. My yelp message clearly does not show that conversation. Additionally, she said she saw the refrigerator wasn't dirty, and so she lowered her price on that house. Problem is, this isn't true because she didn't see the refrigerator in advance before she sent us the quote. After sending her the message attached, she then proceeded to call and literally yell at us for being "confused!" Desha told us we're lucky because normally she charges $190 overall and extra fees for each appliance.... Well, after listening to her go off on us for long enough, I tried to calmly explain my point. She yelled at me again saying, "My price is my price and I'm not going to go back and forth with you!" As she continued to shout at me, I causally said thank you for her previous work, as she continued to talk over me, and ended our call. I am just shocked she thinks a repeated customer (who would have brought her house after house as part of a business) would be the person she should try and manipulate. Sad because her service wasn't bad at all, her attitude is and her random pricing is. I've attached photos so everyone can see how nice we were and how out of line she is. I don't recommend people use her services until she can establish a price menu and change her attitude towards her customers. April 26th 7:15pm: Desha responded to our review with some pretty baseless statements. First, the refrigerator was not discussed over the phone. Ever. The first time I ever spoke with Desha on the phone was Sunday April 7th (same date we originally scheduled her services). However, her quote is clearly from March 19th (see the photo). Secondly, she's not charging the same price when she excludes appliances she originally agreed to clean for that price just a few weeks prior. That's called raising your prices... which, for or the record, is fine but not when you pretend you didn't raise them and you gave me a phantom discount on the previous service. That leads me to Thirdly, the idea we ever raised our voices is laughable. We answered with "Hello" and she started in on us immediately. Not once was I allowed to say a word as she continued to yell at me over the phone about how she isn't going to go back and forth with me. Yet, if she would have actually listened, I probably could have just understood her point of view. Clearly her anger got the best of her. Too bad for her. I'm not out to destroy any businesses since I run one. Shortly after posting this review due to her irate behavior, she sent us the passive aggressive text messages (now attached via photos): "Thanks for the great review!" And "Find something else to do with your time please!" Well this is a good use of my time Desha. To make sure you do a better job with communication, not lie about me raising my voice, and so you don't lose out on more customers.
